AJW Home ImprovementJ.W. Home improvement came out and did a thorough analysis and estimate of the various projects we needed addressed. They scheduled the work to start a couple weeks out, and they were able to start a day early. We had 2 fabulous workers at the house 8-10 hours a day. The quality of their work was superior, and they were able to complete all the work in far less time than estimated, mostly due to their efficient use of time. They communicated with us every day to ensure we were on the same page with everything. Even though all the work was outdoors, they wore face masks all the time. From the very beginning of every project, Richard and his entire team are clear about the process and what it will entail. Communication is grade A, as he is interested in helping you make your vision come to life. I can’t speak enough about the knowledge that he has in the field and his attention to detail. He not only knows the best products on the market, but he has a great eye for what looks good and values your input while making the best choice for your needs/wants, style and budget. He helped us decide paint colors for each of the bathrooms that we remodeled, helped us with the kind of marble tiles that would best fit the design of one of the bathrooms, and also suggested a great nontransparent type of window pane for the bathroom in the front of the house to make sure it can’t be seen into. Richard is very hands-on and isn’t just a name somewhere in an office. He’s always just a phone call away, and makes it a point to check in on-site to ensure that everything is running smoothly, because he is genuinely interested in the work that he does, always providing the best possible service & quality. The team leads are great at communicating as well, and they make sure that any unexpected issues (if any) can be mitigated quickly and efficiently. The end result always turns out better than expected. We’re very happy with RIBA’s services, and highly recommend using them for your construction and remodeling needs. ASunshine Contracting CorporationOutstanding. Looking for high quality siding/Hardie Board, roofing, windows, I highly recommend Sunshine Contracting. About a month ago they finished putting Hardie Board on our Tudor-style home to replace rotting wood and stucco and did a fabulous job at a very fair price (we checked others). The crew was fantastic. Hard working, considerate, friendly, respectful – and talented. I was amazed by their skilled precision and dedication to doing the job right. Nate, the supervisor, kept progress moving efficiently. The crew leader, Ken, knew his stuff and is well-spoken. The house looks beautiful and the Sunshine team ensured everything was cleaned up, put back in order, even preserved gutters. Ryan, the owner, took extra measures to ensure we got the custom colors and other features we wanted. The team was exceptionally respectful of our having to work at home, observed proper social distancing, and scheduled work in stages to be far less disruptive than we thought it would be. FContacted the company about a gutter repair project. Their company web site and their Description on Angie's List both specifically indicate that they do gutter repairs. But the response I received from the company is that they only do new gutter installations or full replacements; they do not do repairs.

AIt went well. These shingles were required for my house as it is old and in a historic district. More expensive and more difficult to install than other metal roofs. They did an excellent job, hope it lasts another 100+ years like the shingles they removed.

AShanco replaced my roof about 5 years ago. Recently a piece of shingle fell of the roof. I called and reported the issue. The technician came in two days and replaced the shingle without any charge since the roof is still under warranty. The customer service manager Chrissie Bartlett is very professional and responsive. I am happy with their service now, the same as 5 years ago.
