Tire Buying And Repair reviews in Germantown

Excellent service! All employees were professional yet also warm and friendly. Andy took time to explain all times to me so that I could understand why the suggested service was necessary. He instilled a feeling of trust. I love that he contacted me via text every step of the way with updates. An electronic copy of all items was sent to me prior to commencement of repairs and service. I am extremely pleased with Precision Auto and will return for service in the future!

They were terrible. They messed up my car when I tried to get a tire change due to a nail. They put in a wrong size tire. I would definitely never go there again. I would never recommend anyone to go there. They were terrible. They're not a good company.

I had taken my car (a 2010 Kia Forte SX) to another shop for a brake inspection and was told I needed all new brake pads and rotors (front and rear) plus some additional work (transmission fluid flush) totaling nearly $1500. The brake work alone was over $1000. I decided to get a second opinion and took my car to Century Auto. I dropped it off in the morning, around 8:15 am, and was contacted just a few hours later with an update. They said that my front brakes were fine and still had about 40-45% left, the rear brake pads should be replaced, and the rear rotors needed resurfaced. The cost for the brake work was ~ $340 and I authorized it to be completed. Then I asked if they could look at my transmission fluid and give me a recommendation. I received a prompt return phone call with the recommendation to do the transmission fluid flush, which would cost ~ $230. I asked that to be done as well. They completed all the work within a few hours and called me when it was finished. The cost estimates were accurate (no surprises when I picked up my car) and the work was completed in a very reasonable amount of time. I would definitely consider returning to this shop for other work - future brake work, oil changes, tires, etc. I appreciated their honesty and the explanations they provided about the work that needed to be done. They were very punctual and friendly and called when they said they would. The shop is also very conveniently located within walking distance to my work.

This is the third or fourth time I have used Precision Auto. They are fantastic...quick, professional and accommodating. Excellent work! All work was completed in a day. In addition to performing the work I requested, they notified me of maintenance work that I should have done in the future. They even picked me up at my home when the work was completed and took me to retrieve my car. Amazing!

I would highly recommend them. I've been going to them for 8-10 years. I am very happy with them. The tires were Michelin tires so they were expensive. They are very honest and they won't do any work unless it is absolutely necessary, even if I ask them to do something, they will tell me that I am not due for it or don't need it so I trust them completely. Their prices are reasonable.

My overall experience with them was great. I telephoned the head and asked that if they had tires for my car and if I could make an appointment to go and buy them and have them put on the car, while I was at my doctor's appointment. They gave me competitive priced tires. They kept the appointment. There were people waiting when I got there, but since I had an appointment with them they took me right in and they were finished by the time I went back an hour and a half later to get my car.

Normally, I dread getting my oil changed because my Jeep is a Diesel engine, and at most places this is an automatic upcharge (usually $100) because most Diesels are big trucks that take more oil.
My Jeep is only a 4 cyl engine, that only needs 6.5 quarts of oil. Wilson Tire and Auto worked with me and gave me their regular price for a Synthetic oil change. This is the first auto repair place to do this for me. Most other places don't want to listen, and I have to pay the same price as a big truck. The trans fluid and engine coolant flushes were also at their regular price (much lower than a dealership), and alll of the fluids were synthetic.
The work was done quickly and I recieved a call back when complete. At pick up they also informed me of other issues they found. Their communication style is more informative than it was pressuring. I felt comfortable and open to communicate with them about what options I had, and what was critical and what could be held off for a while. I decided not to have the other issues resolved, and they simply said to come back if I changed my mind.
All of the personel including technicians were FLUENT in ENGLISH. They say this is a family owned shop, and I got that feeling from their employees. To sum it up: VERY COMPETENT and QUALITY repairs and maintenance, CHEAPER and LESS PRESSURING than a dealership, MORE RELIABLE and TRUSTWORTHY than a pep-boys/jiffy lube.

TireVan's service has been well thought out. We really liked being able to pick out the tires online, pay for it and have them come to our home to do the work. We didn't even have to be there during installation. The installer worked in the pouring rain and did a great job. We later discovered that we had one problem with one tire that had a slow leak. When we called customer service to tell them about the problem, they were friendly and responsive. They arranged to come back the following week and replace what turned out to be a bad valve stem. Since then, we've had no problems; the tires have been fine. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience with TireVan and would definitely use them again.

I do not recall the price, but they are normally a little high in prices. They are honest and trustworthy. I regularly take my Toyota to them. They are always in touch and keep you updated with the service they are doing.
