Your Friends with a Truck Discount Moving
Dave, the owner, was responsive from the time I requested a quote to the time the job was completed. My work took about a day to complete and he called throughout to make sure the project was moving satisfactorily. I am so happy we decided to hire a company instead of doing the job ourselves. I highly recommend YFWAT; great team and job well done.

    495 Movers Inc
I would give the move an A-. The sales person I worked with, Tom, was excellent and accommodating as we had to adjust our moving date about 1-1/2 week out from the move. We had a layover of one day between when we packed the truck and the date we moved in. Of course, there was an extra fee for the layover, but that was to be expected. The quote he gave us was realistic, and we came in under because we hired packing help to come in ahead of the move. They underestimated the number of trucks they would need, which we found out on the move-out day, but they were able to get a truck and complete the job. The crew leader, Antonio, was a consummate professional and had the crew working quietly and efficiently. It was impressive. But like most moves, there were last-minute things that needed to be packed, and the crew was very accommodating in packing those things up as they worked from room-to-move. They showed up promptly, even a bit ahead of time, on both move-out and move-in days. They taped moving blankets around all furniture items to protect them. We still ended up with a few dings on the furniture, and, sadly, they broke the leg of one the dressers as they were pushing it (instead of lifting it) across the carpet. But that was the only complaint I would offer. I was pleased with their service and would recommend them to others. They are not the lowest-priced movers. They were mid-priced. But for their accommodation, honesty, and professionalism, they were terrific to work with and made the overall moving experience as fluid as possible.

    Metropolitan Moving & Storage
This review is well overdue but I still want to submit it. I moved in September, 2018. The move was excellent. The movers were professional and moved everything with care. The owner came by and looked at everything that needed to be moved and gave the estimate on the time required for the move. He told me he has been in this moving business for 10+ years and this is what he does all the time. I was very encouraged by this. He said he could low ball the price and then come in high later, but that was not how he does it. I liked that. He recommended 3 guys, which was great, because my last move was with 2 guys and it was like watching paint dry and they actually had to bring in another guy later. I actually had another company come by and I was not impressed by his experience. I am very glad I went with this company. I have actually recommended this company to a friend who has an upcoming move planned.

    Bargain Movers
I have used Budget Movers a few times before and was always satisfied. So when my daughter sold her house and was ready to move into her new home I only called Budget Movers. Luis came to her house and gave us a very reasonable estimate. The move consisted of moving on a Saturday, keeping the furniture on a truck for three nights, and delivering everything on Tuesday. The 3 man crew were very responsible, polite, and careful. The estimate was very accurate except for the fact that I added an extra stop and delivery of some furniture to my sons house so that added an extra hour. Besides Luis, I also dealt with Martina in the office. She was extremely helpful and always willing to answer any questions and to make any changes. I highly recommend this company.

In & Out Movers And Relocation
I've used In & Out twice, and they were fabulous both times! They showed up and quickly got to work taking things apart and moving things out. The guys were really friendly and professional and obviously really knew what they were doing. There were actually a couple pieces I was worried about them being able to move or get where I wanted them, but they had no issues!

    Bargain Movers
When we sold our house much faster than expected, we needed a reliable moving company that provided personal service, careful & experienced movers, provided storage options, and DID NOT contract out their moves. After interviewing three companies one national company, one regional company, and one local company we went with the local company, BARGAIN MOVERS. Steve and Martina were kind, knowledgeable and honest. The in-home estimate left us with no surprises on the day of the move. And Martin, Jose and David were professional, careful and worked quickly. Bargain Movers came by recommendation from a friend and neighbor, but after doing my due diligence, they were the best, hands down. I have requested the same team to move us out of storage and in to our new house once construction is complete.

    Artisan Movers
Needed help moving from Gaithersburg to North Potomac, called for an estimate and had Dimitry and Marc at my house for a FREE in home estimate the next day. They both were very helpful in explaining the process and walking me through what to expect on moving day. After receiving 3 other estimates I knew Artisan Movers were going to be my choice. Moving day was a breeze and finished in less time than expected which is great. Highly recommend them and will use them for future moves. Thanks guys!

    Artisan Movers
Artisan Movers did a great job for our move from a townhouse to a single family home. I was very impressed by how hard the guys worked especially given the high heat that day. The quote I received was very accurate. Nothing was broken during the move, however some walls did get marked in a tight staircase, but it was an easy fix. The money I paid was well worth the work they did.

    A Few Good College Men
I called A Few Good College Men for a free quote. We scheduled it but on the about a couple of hours that Marcus is to arrive, I got a message that we needed to reschedule. I called the company and was told that one of the worker got injured and Marcus was with him at the hospital. I totally understood and felt sorry for the poor worker who was hurt. Marcus called me later and asked to reschedule for the next day. He arrived on time looked at what we have and where we need them to go. Most of the furniture was being donated and some of the other furniture and equipment needed to be moved to 3 different locations from our current office space. The one big obstacle was the big double-door fire proof safe which probably weighs 600-1000lbs. Marcus was confident that they could move the safe and distribute the items to the 3 locations as well as donating and trashing the rest. He said it would probably take 2 trucks one for donations/trash and one for the move. I told him we won't be moving until mid or late September. He said he would get me a quote either later today or most likely tomorrow. I waited and there were no email from Marcus. I called the office and was told that he would remind Marcus to send me the quote, it was Friday. Nothing came through so I called the office first thing Monday. I was told that they had a huge job that was supposed to be later just got moved up so they are not taking any new jobs right now. I told him that we are not moving until mid to late September. He said that they are not taking any jobs until after August 31st. This is only July 30th. I get the feeling that they just don't want our job, likely because of the safe. It is huge and very heavy and going into a residential garage. Anyway, I told them I don't need to move until mid to late September but that doesn't seem to change his mind and I am definitely not going to beg them. He claimed that Marcus sent out an email stating they could not accept any new jobs. I told him we never got the email. Not a way to run a business.
