. great experience, from the estimate through the completion.   Terry and his crew really understand the process and got the completed permits and inspections as needed.  All the work was completed timely and on budget.  I would call them again for any plumbing needs.

Dave removed the calcium buildup and the toilet now flushes perfectly.  This is the second time I have used Old Towne.  I have been impressed by the quality of the work and reasonable price both times.  Dave has a great personality and makes plumbing problems a bit less of a worry.  Previously, he repaired a gas leak in my basement, at no additional cost, since he was already here to work on another problem.  I appreciate that kind of honesty and service!

Dave is wonderful!!   He is a Master Plumber but also a GAS PIPE FITTER!!   He is the owner of the business and doesn't sub the work out. He's the best!!  I learned my lesson, the previous year I hired one of those big plumbing companies to run new gas lines for exterior gas lights on the house . . .  everyday it was a new guy coming out to do the work, and they had NEVER installed gas lights before.  I wish I had known Dave before, he would have installed the gas lights correctly the first time!!
I've lived in this home for 25 years, bought it new. It had an electric cooktop. Many times over the years I've asked plumbers about switching over to gas, and ALL OF THEM told me it couldn't be done. Well, the truth is, many plumbers are not comfortable working with gas. That's why I'm so happy I found Old Towne Plumbers.  He is a pro and not at all nervous with gas!!!!
Dave is very laid back and easy to talk to - he is a hard working guy, and knows his stuff!! We passed our inspection the first time, which doesn't surprise me. If you want it done right, and it involves gas, go with Dave. You will not be sorry you did!  Cannot recommend him highly enough . . . . . THANK YOU DAVE!!!!

Great to work with.  Came out really quickly to give an estimate returned later to perform work.  Installation was expensive (compared to west coast - we had just moved and there was sticker shock).  Bakar was one of the best estimates and worked with me on the price.  He is very professional and I appreciated this very much!

Amazing!  I love WSSC!!  First of all, it's FREE !!  Yes, your tax dollars pay for these guys to come out to your home and make sure the plumbing contractor does the job right.  We had 2 gas lights installed which required the running of new gas lines from the furnace to the exterior by the front door. The first time we had an inspection, the work failed.  The WSSC inspector took the time to explain to the plumber what he needed to do to make it right! The next time, we passed!
These guys work for YOU. The contractor has to do the job, sometimes over and over and over, until the job will pass inspection, and it won't cost you any more money. I love the feeling that WSSC is watching out for me!  If you have a problem afterward, i.e. your house burns down, and you didn't pass your inspection - your insurance won't pay for the damages.
These guys know what their doing, and they want to protect you, your family and your investment in your home!!   Don't use any contractor that won't pull permits!!  At one point our plumber, Orlando, was telling us that the WSSC inspector Josh didn't know what he was talking about, and that he didn't really have to do all the things he was told to do - WRONG.
    THANK YOU WSSC

Cyprus Air Heating, Cooling and Fireplaces
TERRIBLE.  Don't use these guys !!  The estimator Tsengel Erdenebat was very knowledgable and professional. He said it was a piece of cake. Based on him, we hired these guys.  Well, Tsengel was told that we would remove the exterior siding of the home so they would have access to the wall to run the gas pipes for the lights by the front door. They knew we would only have the siding off for a day or two and then the siding contractor would hang new HardiPlank siding.
One month before the job, and Cyprus calls to get technical specs on the gas lights  (this is GOOD). Says they want to have everything they need for the job!
Last week I call Cyprus to see if they are ready for the install - which is TODAY.  They say yes.
Today arrives, no one is here till 10:45 A.M.!  Really??  Plumbers arrive and they ask what the job is, and I tell 'em and they have no clue what to do. Tell me "They have never installed a gas light before"  OH GREAT!   They look at the furnace and the site where the gas lights will go, tell me they don't have anything on the truck that they need AND THEY LEAVE.
MY HOUSE IS OPEN!!  IT'S OPEN TO THE WEATHER, THE BUGS, INVADING SWARMS OF BEES,  EVERYTHING. IF IT RAINS, I'M IN DEEP TROUBLE. Does Cyprus care about this? NO  Do they care that the siding contractor is supposed to come tomorrow (Wednesday the 18th) and close up the house with new siding?? NO They have had 2 months to prepare for this job. And they were totally unprepared, totally unprofessional.
DON'T USE THEM.  DON'T TAKE THE RISK.  They say they will try tomorrow - I'm not holding my breathe. Thankfully, the siding contractor is a dream ( S & K Roofing) and will wait till Friday to close up the house. Cross your fingers we don't have rain.

Today is Tuesday, December 3rd. Cyprus Air was supposed to be here between 9 - 11:00 AM to patch damage to the drywall. And guess what NO ONE SHOWED UP.  When I called to see what was happening, (at 11:01) Vastie said she's check with the contractor and call me right back . . .  haven't heard from her yet. Am I surprised? no.  Last week the Accounts Payable department called wanted to know where their final payment is - I told them they will get paid when the job is finished and the damage fixed. So unprofessional - DON'T USE THESE GUYS. They will test your sanity!

    Steve the Fireplace Guy
Our gas firepace (non-wood burning) was broken from the time we moved in and we were not sure the source of the problem.  Steve was prompt in his response and timing of his visit to investigate the issue.  During the visit he identified the problem and then fully serviced the fireplace, he even cleaned all of the glass.

    CHRIS HART'S GAS SVCS
I would definitely recommend Chris.  I recently moved and brought my natural gas grill with me.  So, I needed a natural gas line added to the exterior of the house that I could hook up to on my patio.  Even though he had to run the line from the other side of the house (that's where the meter was) Chris was able to add the additional line very quickly, just in time for some Labor Day weekend grilling.  His price was much better than other plumbers we had received quotes from.  The fact that Chris specializes with natural gas lines and fireplaces put me a ease.  And his work was very professional.  After the line was tested and inspected he even went so far as to clean the glass front of my natural gas fireplace, which I had yet to use, so that the glass didn't get permenantly stained.  I will definitely use Chris for any maintenance involving my gas fireplace.

W H Winegar & Son Plumbing and Heating
I needed  a gas line removed from an old kitchenette area and capped. Jim and Sky showed up on time.  They were friendly (Sky is the quiet type) and knowledgeable.   They worked efficiently as a team to do the work, restore service and test appliances.  In their spare time, they taught me a few things.  Thanks very much guys.  I will call when I am ready to attack the bathroom!
