ASomething ConstructivePatsy and team did a wonderful job with remodeling our master bathroom and updating fixtures in the quest bathroom. His estimate for labor came in under budget. Jacob and Ernesto are capable of doing any task assigned by Patsy. They removed a jacuzzi tub, stand-alone shower, tile flooring, all plumbing and electrical fixtures, and raised the vanities to 35 inch height. The pictures attached show the end result of which we are very pleased, and thankful for Patsy's patience and guidance throughout the process. We would highly recommend Patsy along with Jacob and Ernesto. They work very well together as a team.- Danny G.

ASomething ConstructiveI asked Patsy to install 5 Billy bookcases from IKEA into a room to house my book collection. I wanted them to look as though they were built-in. I wanted lighting with dimmers installed above each bookcase and and crown molding installed in the room that would continue across the front of the bookcases. Patsy met me at Home Depot and helped me select the lighting and switchplate options that were needed. When I complained about the way the LED lights were making a humming noise, Patsy went back to Home Depot and found a dimmer that did not hum. I wanted the bookcases to stretch from ceiling to floor. The bookcases I ordered were not tall enough and I could not wait for the extension pieces from IKEA, so Patsy custom-fitted the bookcases and added and extra shelf for me. I wanted the light switch for the bookcase lights to be added to the switchplate on the opposite side of the room, so, Ernesto, one of his workers, went into the attic crawl space and fished the electric across the attic and down to the switchplate on the opposite side of the room. I also wanted the electrical outlet on the bookcase wall to be extended out to the front baseboard of the bookcase. I wanted trim added between each bookcase and the base of the bookcase to blend in seamlessly with the baseboard. I was very picky about having this done exactly the way I wanted, as I have waited forty years for it. I was very pleased with the way the bookcases turned out. The bookcases look like they were made when the house was built. Patsy and his co-workers, Jacob and Ernesto, were courteous, prompt and very hard-working. They finished the job in two and a half days. They completely cleaned the work area before they left each day. The painting that was needed was done very neatly with no drips. They went out of their way to make sure that it was built to my specifications. I would heartily recommend them. They provided good value for my money and exceeded my expectations.- Jan W.

AI ordered an Acrylic turntable cover for my new audiophile turntable - Dr. Feickert Woodpecker with Origin Live illustrious tone arm. I got the "floating cover", which sits on the top of the turntable plinth via 4 seating blocks. This cover is a beautiful work of art, literally could be used in an art museum display. it is very sturdy and extremely well finished. The pricing was very, very reasonable and I have never seen better or more secure packaging. Shipping was received as was promised and in a timely fashion. ALet me begin my review by saying that if I could give MORE than a 5-star rating to Perry Moving and Storage that I certainly would! My review also comes with experience in multiple moves across the country and around the world…as I worked for the Federal Government for over 30-years and was moved 7-times during my career. I can say with confidence that our recent move with Perry was the best organized, most courteous, and best executed move I have ever had! Our move with Perry involved a major household pickup from Berlin MD, storage for over one-month at Perry warehouse, secondary pickup from Falls Church VA, integration with that second pickup with our initial pickup and all items placed in storage. Ultimately, the entire ~8,000 pounds of belongings were delivered to our new retirement home in Santee SC within the contractually guaranteed delivery window. Best of all…we had NO breakage, NO damage, and NO loss of any belongings within that 8,000-pound shipment! Our Perry Moving and Storage process began with a video walkthrough of our MD home by Steve. This was an awesome way to develop initial inventory and estimated weight. Steve was very experienced, accurate, and thorough. He provided us a guaranteed (BINDING) quote. If you deal with another company that will not give a BINDING quote…move on quickly! A BINDING quote is critical to a good move and guarantees your price. We spoke to and interviewed four other movers and Perry was by far the best organized and competent. After we booked with Steve, we began to work with Tara on scheduling the pickup and delivery. The three crews we worked with were very competent, careful, and polite. Recall we had two pickups from different homes and a third team with delivery. Each team placed runners on the floor to protect flooring. All furniture was carefully wrapped in blankets and plastic wrap. Some of our furniture was very fragile and had glass top tables, glass door hutches, big screen TVs, etc. We had NO damage and NO breakage! Tara planned and scheduled our cross-state delivery. She is very conscientious and “owned” our delivery until the day the delivery arrived. Perry does not require upfront payment, but only requires 100% delivery day before shipment arrival. Our delivery was INCREDIBLY challenging for Perry to coordinate and execute in the midst of crew shortages due to sickness…yet was executed by a dedicated crew who loaded and drove our 8,000 pound shipment from their warehouse outside Baltimore to our new home in Santee SC on Saturday 19 December…yes, the week before Christmas! The delivery crew unwrapped all furniture and carrier packed items and placed where we instructed. They protected all flooring with runners and doors as necessary. I highly recommend Perry Moving and Storage for any size move…local or long distance! A special thank you to Steve and Tara from my wife Diane and I (Robert)!
