Overall it was a good experience. It was easy to book. They do nickle and dime you for a la carte services. I was also a little frustrated because I booked my dog over a month in advance, and they call your vet when you make the booking to make sure your dog is up to date on vaccinations. They emailed me 3 days before boarding, on a Friday, that she needed a vaccine and we could either have them do it or take her to our vet. They left us no time to get it done by our vet, so we had to let them do it. We should have been notified right away. From what I could tell from when I dropped my dog off, it was clean and well taken care of. A dog trainer was the one who took my dog back to the boarding area and he was very pleasant and sweet. My dog was happy and had no issues when we picked him up.

Nicole did the grooming and it went very well.   She listened to what I told her about the look I desired and also offered her opinion and we decided together on a cut.  She is very sweet and does a great job on Tobi!  I'v never been to a groomer where my dog actually can't wait to get out of the car and into the place!!

Great Maggie loves her groomer, Denise who does her grooming every 2 weeks. Maggie gets so excited when she sees Denise. Maggie is a 2 year old mixed, Old English Sheepdog and Standard Poodle. She is stubborn like an OES so not the easiest dog to groom at times and Denise is firm but gentle. She is always sweet smelling and looking great when I pick her up.You don't have a specified time but drop off is from 8-10 and dogs are taken according to when they are dropped off. Denise gives you a call when she is finished. When I go to pick Maggie up she is always out with Denise in the grooming area while Denise is cleaning up Never have I gone and found her in a crate or pen. There have been times when she has been out in the office area playing ball with the receptionist. Denise clips her about every 6-8 weeks as Maggie can get long like an OES and we end up with lots of matts.Since we have been going to Belquist for nearly a year now Denise does her nails or ears as they need to be done and when time allows with her schedule. It all works out great for us.It is quite obvious that they all love animals there. I highly recommend them.

We had to request a full refund. After 5 hours, I went to pick up my dog basically at closing time when they finally called and the groomer was hurriedly trying to finish up. I watched her clip his nails, even though I paid $20 extra to have them grinded. One of his ears was cut about 3 inches shorter than the other ear and his fur was very choppy and uneven all over. The manager was very nice when I explained the situation and offered a refund.

She's sick when I took her in but I wanted her to be comfortable and have some of her hair removed so they were very sweet and gentle with her. They did exactly what I asked them to do. It is clean, service is great and they have excellent groomers there. It's nice when you're boarding your animals there because you can go back unlike with other places they don't allow you to go back with the animals and don't allow you to bring your own bedding and things that gonna make your animal feel better but they allow you to do all of that. You can bring your own food but there is an extra charge for you. It's a place I would recommend to other people. They're kind and they really like animal in as well. They even built an out door play area for the animals.

I've tried them several times and it is always hit or miss.  Some of the groomers do a really nice job.  I usually ask for that person when making an appointment.  When I show up, that person isn't there.  They keep cutting the eyelashes on the Shih Tzu.  Makes me crazy.  Also, the Golden has become extremely anxious about going and he never gets upset about anything.  I won't be using them again.

I sent the request on Tuesday.  By Friday, I still hadn't heard back from the groomer even though they have both my email and my cellphone number.
I went back to the website and called the telephone number listed there.  The pre-recorded message said that they are no longer accepting new clients.
Why couldn't they send an email saying this?  The scheduler still works, there is no banner or pop-up box that cautions customers that they aren't taking new clients.

I moved my boxer to Greenbriar one year ago and I've been so happy with their service! The vet experience is always pleasant. Waiting time is minimal and I'm moved to an exam room instantly so there's no waiting in the open area while the dogs/cats/etc go crazy. In addition, I've used their grooming services which are exceptional. I'm so happy I made the switch and I'm sure my handsome boxer feels the same!

My dog Leo has anxiety issues and I was worried he wouldn't be able to get groomed. The ladies at Main Street Goomers treated Leo like gold. Not only did he get a bath and haircut, they were able to clip his nails too! He looked and smelled great. He's been back once since our first appointment and we have another appointment set for the end of the month.

I would say that the doctor cares more about the animal than he does money. He helps people out and I would not trust any other vet but him. He is just an amazing guy. I am talking about Dr. Griffith, I do not know about the other vets in there. I did not have a job, I was waiting for disability, my dog had cancer and he allowed me to pay $5 a month, went ahead, and did the surgery. He never once pressured me for the money. He is an excellent vet. He charges $12.00 to trim my dog's nails. He is reasonable. There is no boarding there. He does large farm animals. He is very knowledgeable and if he cannot figure it out, he will call the veterinary teaching hospital in Virginia researching. He does what he has to do if he does not know. All of the people that work there that I know are great.
