    Dixit, Dr. Sameer
Dr. Dixit was very thorough during my appointment with him and had me go next door to have an x-ray done. After going over my history and looking at the x-ray, he decided that I should have a follow up MRI to the Jan 2014 procedure. He ordered another MRI to be done and then to have follow up appointment with him again after this 2nd MRI was completed. I would recommend Dr. Dixit to anyone looking for an orthopedic specialist. He spent adequate time listening to my problems and reviewing my situation.

Nothing wrong with the quality of the care from Dr. Steinberg but you must be prepared for she is running a storefront and you will be pitched products for purchase. Literaly the medical assistants will go out to the store and bring products in to show you and encourage you to buy them.
Dr. Steinberg is also a pretty big personality and so you have to be prepared to ask her to slow down and listen sometimes.  For example she plopped down at my feet and started cutting away and ended up removing callouses I didn't want removed because they weren't painful and were, in fact, protective (as in my feet hurt in those spots until a callous built up again)  She didn't bother to ask me about my feet before she just started in.
The other thing you should be aware of is that they will ask you for a $100 or more deposit and if your services cost less than they asked you for they will not return the difference.  They leave it "on the books" for use the next time you come in.  The only problem is what if you don't come in again??? If you leave town, change doctors etc. you have to remember to contact them to get your money refunded.  If you press them to they will send you a check for the difference once your billing is complete though they don't like to do so.

This practice has two offices, one in Frederick and one in Urbana, and we have visited both. Both locations are clean and convenient, well staffed with pleasant doctors and assistants. They offices are capable of performing x-rays and ultrasound exams as well as equipment for performing all measuments for orthotics. They also carry a supply of footwear and can order to fit. Ingrown toenails, 2 family members, 3 different toes all performed with precision and care, Torn tendons take time to heal and one family member has been under treatment for three different tears, each one treated professionally and individually with excellent results (full recovery). If you are one of those people who like to take an additional person with you to the doctor, or you provide assistance for an elderly adult or small child, there is seating in the waiting room and treatment rooms so that you can accompany your family member.

I was able to get an initial appointment quickly  with Dr. Nesbitt.  Dr. Nesbitt was very professional throughout the appointment.  An MRI was ordered to determine if surgery might be needed.  It was explained to me that, if needed, it is important to perform the surgery within a 4 week window from the time of injury.  I had the MRI performed within 2 days.  When I tried to schedule a follow up appointment with Dr. Nesbitt, I was told I would need to wait over 4 weeks for the next available appointment - just to review the MRI.  I explained the situation mentioned above regarding the timeliness of surgery to the staff repeatedly.  I was eventually told I could see an assistant in a few weeks.  Since the purpose of the appointment was to determine if I needed surgery, I wanted to see Dr. Nesbitt.  Since this was not possible, I found another orthopedic group that was able to promptly and successfully treat my injury.

    Lieb, Dr. David A
He is fabulous with his communication, follows up well and he also sends you birthday greetings on the phone. He runs marathons and can relate to problems well from a runner prospective. His office is kind of nasty. It is a little hard to get in to see him as his availability is not very good. He is a one man show and is very competent.
