    Bucheimer Design & Build LLC
We contracted with Bucheimer Design & Build to construct a 2-story addition attached to existing house, total approximately 900 square feet. This was a complex addition as the main house is over 70 years old and first floor existing kitchen had to open up to the new great room. The upstairs master bedroom included 2 closets, 1 walk-in and master bath with skylight. They put a new HVAC system in place, and were agreeable, whenever possible, to recycle our other materials. The Bucheimers were impeccable and helpful in every way. We had a general design plan, and they were able to seamlessly modify and offer new suggestions regarding practicality and design. The structure was worked on during the winter months and took approximately 4 months to complete. They diligently worked - sometimes under poor weather conditions. We highly recommended Bucheimer Design and Build. Throughout the entire build, their team and all contracted workers were top of the line, very professional, knowledgeable, and polite. They followed their financial estimate meticulously and offered suggestions for cost effectiveness. We would absolutely love to work with them again! Thanks guys the addition is beautiful and solid and a warm and welcome addition for our family!

The job was done quickly and professionally, with a very fair price. It always looks amazing and reliable quality. I can always trust this company to do good work with and with great customer service. I've recommended them to my friends as well and they had a great experience too.

    Epic Kitchen and Bath
Very sloppy work. Sent a new employee with little experience who brought his best friend to assist. Had to ask assistant not to come back after he trimmed his beard in my guest bath and left it all over the place. The other guy was left to finish the job alone. Scott the owner promised to correct the poor work that was done and he never called me back. I have had to hire someone else to fix it up.

Hire this contractor! Brian and his crew are more professional, polite, responsible and reliable than any other contractor I have ever hired. And I have hired several handyman and construction services. I will admit that the estimate gave me pause. But after the work was finished, i was relieved that what I got was a bargain. Galaxy was recommended by the Carefree Kitchens on East St. in Frederick. Brian contacted me, we went over the job, he sent me an estimate and we agreed on a start date. He and his crew arrived on time and ready to work. As my partner and I did the demo, Galaxy was doing the install of cabinets, some electrical, plumbing and moving a gas line. They disrupted our lives minimally. There was several small hiccups in the install due to the original construction, but Brian and his team made suggestions for work arounds and they were smart and acceptable. And they were well executed. Galaxy seems to pride itself on quality. Brian told me upfront every day what the plan was for the day. They actually finished their preliminary work ahead of schedule. Brian coordinated the scheduling of the electrician, plumber, inspectors, and the delivery of the cabinets in a logical and orderly manner. At no time did I say to myself, "whats next?" or "is this going to be done on time?" One week after the kitchen was done, we decided on a change of drawer fronts. I called Brian, and asked if he cold do this, and he said sure. The price was fair and the job was completed quickly and correctly. A big factor in any job is if a contractor has to called back to fix or correct something. I have had to do this on more than one occasion with other contractors. I have not called Brian, because there is nothing wrong with his work. His craftsmanship is impeccable. (A contractor who did a bath for me hooked up the hot and cold backwards it a sink. I'm still waiting, two years later for them to return to correct.) I cannot recommend Galaxy enough. Brian is as good as his word and worth the price. But be prepared to plan accordingly. The more jobs he does, the more popular he will become and thus, the longer the lead time will be. I foresee this contractor having a long and successful career. Do not hesitate and do not wait. (and now the obligatory) They're out of this world! Quality, value and professionalism are all you're going to get from Galaxy.

Mid-Atlantic Tile, Kitchen & Bath LLC
If I could give zero stars, I would. I highly advise to RUN not walk away from this company, trust me you will thank me later! Worst customer service we have ever received from a company. No return calls, every time you call they are rude and act like it's an inconvenience that you are calling to find out where your order is at. James was the rudest one of them all. When you're spending over $2,000 in bathroom tile, which may not be a lot to them, but it is for us, you would think that they would be a lot nicer to their customers. Numerous false promises on arrival times & tons of false promises & blame everything on the manufacturers and not on them. They LIE right to your face, even when you see the order they messed up right there in front of you & when you call them out on it, they try to blame the original order taker Yasmin, who was the ONLY one who got the order right (she is no longer there) & Yasmin wasn't the one who screwed up the 2 additional orders we needed for more tile (not at fault of Yasmin, it was on our contractor for giving us the wrong measurements). Because of their delays on both orders, the booked time we had for our contractors was up and we now have to wait for their other jobs to be done, before they can return to complete our job. All because Mid-Atlantic screwed up & wouldn't pay to expedite the order for us, they ordered wrong in the first place. Never, ever in my life have I had such horrible customer service or had store managers that didn't care that their customers order & their contracted job was messed up because of THEM.

    HH Homes LLC
Our basement was destroyed in the recent flooding experienced in Frederick. HH Homes came in after we had a basement waterproofing system installed by another local vendor, AA Waterproofing (who also did a great job). Hank gave us a fair estimate for the work, which included re-framing, drywall installation, painting, laying Mannington LVP flooring, framing and hanging new doors, bathroom tiling, installing plumbing fixtures, reinstalling electrical fixtures, and general touch-up. Hank was consistent in his communications and accommodated our travel schedules to get the work done around our calendar. His crew did a great job in all aspects, and were professional and friendly. We're very pleased with the finished product and can certainly recommend HH Homes.

    My Contractor Service LLC
This Person Is Very Very Very Unprofessional, The Day Of Our Scheduled Appointment An Hour Before He Contacts Me Through Facebook To Say He Is Not Coming Because He Decided To Spend The Day With His Family. ARE YOU SERIOUS!!, When I Called To Explain That He Was Being Very Unprofessional To End A Job And Appointment For That Reason He Could Not Handle The Professional Criticism Got Very Rude And Nasty And Did Not Want To Do The Job.......I'd Be Very Careful With This Person No Matter How Nice He Comes Across To Not Show Up And Not Even Have The Respect To Call A Customer To Say Anything Is Very Rude And Unprofessional In My Eyes......

    Maryland's Best Remodeling
The project was poorly managed and nothing was every scheduled. There was no communication and I had to prod them to find out when they would even be coming to do any of the work. The wood floors that they put in were incorrectly installed by their subcontractor and we had to have the floors officially inspected to prove to him that they weren't right. They eventually had to be sanded down and refinished. The provider was pretty abusive of me throughout the project. There were multiple phone calls where I had to hang up because he was yelling at me. There were issues that came up that he should have anticipated that resulted in a higher cost for me.

I contacted him with a punchlist of the things that still needed to be done and the dates I would be available in early February. He didn't respond, so I sent another email and again never received a response. I ended up hiring someone else to complete the work. He finally called me back 2 weeks ago (at the end of March) and said that I needed to pay him or he would put a lien on my house. I had already paid for most of the work. The remaining balance would have been paid when the work was complete, but they never finished the work.
