    Anne Arundel Dermatology
The Staff at Anne Arundel Dermatology was very flexible when I was late for an appointment and got me right in see Dr. Giblin. They were polite and treated me like a person (too rare today). Dr. Giblin took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. Not only does he seem very knowledgeable and professinal, he is quite personable and has a great sense of humor. I appreciate the referral from a friend of mine and will do the same.

The office staff is friendly and accomodating. I usually have a wait, but it is not long for a doctor's office - usually only about 10-15 minutes after appointment time. Heather is very accomodating and respects my preferences and price ranges. She is helpful and honest about my issue and is willing to continue treatments until we find something that works. Prior to becoming pregnant, my acne was under control with minimal products.

I wanted to get excessive skin tags under my arms removed, plus have my back checked for possible skin problems.
I was expecting to see the doctor, instead I saw a nurse practitioner. I felt she was in too much of a hurry. She seemed to give my back a very quick going over. She did not carry out the skin tag removal procedure - freezing off the tags with liquid nitrogen - as I had seen described online, and as a result caused unnecessary skin burns adjacent to the treated area. Also, and I have no idea why, she seemed to concentrate on one arm, leaving the other more or less untreated. I was told to return if further treatment was required.
I returned for follow up treatment and felt as unwelcome as I had before. The treatment took the same form - again concentrating on the one arm, and again failing to used protective shielding (some tiny droplets of the liquid nitrogen even sprayed up into my face and eyes). Again, I was told to return if the tags persisted.
I did not return. I felt unwelcome, almost in the way, and the treatment was not fully successful. To this day I wonder what the problem was. Whether it was that I was a man; perhaps that the procedure is relatively inexpensive; perhaps that I'm overweight? I have no idea.
Most of the staff were very nice, but the "business end" of the visit was embarrassing and not helpful.

    Moe, Dr. Kathleen
It was great experience.  That was the first time I saw her and I’m going to go back.  I actually saw one of her Physician’s assistant but I was still very pleased with the office and I will go back.  I just like the overall experience.  The office was great.  The examination was very thorough and they were very personable.

The providers were great and very friendly. My visit was for acne - the provider has their own line of skincare products. It became very expensive to keep trying different products as they were not prescription medications. It is nice if someone is looking for a more natural treatment, but with specialty doctor co-pays required by most insurance companies, it is not feasible to spend between $100-$200 on treatments each visit. I decided to switch to a different provider and tried a few prescription medications.

Parking outside the building is a little tight given that there are so many offices inside this building. So definitely arrive with a little time to spare to make sure you find a space to park. The office itself is very clean and light with lots of windows. The front desk person was very pleasant to speak with. All the other staff introduced themselves and chatted with me throughout the time I was there which was nice because you can relax and feel more comfortable. I saw Dr. Alicia Cool and she is just a wonderful person to speak with. She is younger, which made me feel good. She came in and spoke with me first before asking me to undress and put on a gown. She did a full body check and I asked her if we could remove two moles that were bothering me. The whole things was pleasant from start to finish and everyone was just really nice and easy to talk to. I also asked about tattoo removal and she gave me the names of two doctors in the area that she said were well-regarded for this type of procedure. So, all in all I was very pleased and I actually look forward to my next visit.

While at the appointment for the suspect lesion, I asked for a full body exam since I had never had one before. Dr. Moe was very thorough and found two lesions that needed to be biopsied and neither was the original lesion I had gone in to have checked. It turned out that one of the lesions biopsied was basal cell carcinoma and I would never have known it was there if Dr. Moe hadn't caught it. Her professionalism and easy manner made me feel confident in her exam and treatment.

    Liotta, Dr. Elizabeth A.
Dr. Liotta is very professional and thorough during her appointment. She asks if I have any concerns and makes sure she addresses all my needs. If I have need of a follow up appointment, they can be scheduled with minimal wait time.

I find him very careful and good with what he does. He's on time, I don't have to wait for him. He does an excellent job. The only issue I have is with his availability, it takes about 3 months to get in to him unless you have an emergency.
