    Affordable Basement Waterproofing
We hired Affordable Basement Waterproofing to address water intrusion in our basement. They were very responsive and worked with us to meet a tight deadline despite their extremely heavy workload due to the unusually heavy rain and flooding in the area.

    Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing
I strongly recommend NOT going with this company. Throughout the entire process it has been one issue after another. I met with Teddy Hall on 1/9/19 for a walk through and estimate. Overall Mr. Hall was pleasant and appeared knowledgeable. Though I felt I was being oversold he appeared more professional and knowledgeable than the other companies that had come through to provide me with a quote. Once I signed the contract for a trench drain installation to include three sub pumps I was almost immediately contacted for an install date which was awesome. With that said I had to downright harass Mr. Hall to review the promised financing paperwork and had to threaten to cancel the contract in order to actually accomplish reviewing and signing this paperwork as I had not reviewed it and the window to cancel without penalty was coming up quickly. Once I was able to get the paperwork, again after numerous phone calls and text messages on my end, I signed all of that and scheduled my initial install date. This date was confirmed via email and over the phone. On the date of my install no one showed. Finally after multiple phone calls, again me reaching out, I was given an apology and a line about confusion over schedules and was rescheduled for the next week. There was no compensation for my lost day at work and in fact was told by the general manager, Matt Golonka, that they do not have money in their budget to compensate people for lost wages due to his companys error and that all they can offer is an apology. The second install date comes along. I receive a confirmation call on the previous Saturday at 7:30 am from Scott to confirm a crew will be there between 8:30-10 am that Monday. So on this second date, when no one had arrived by 10 am, I called the office to see where the crew was and when they would be coming. I was told by Debbie that the time frame was merely a suggestion and when I pressed further I was told they would be there in about 45 minutes. The crew came and left. Overall they did a good job however they removed shelving off the wall unnecessarily which included the actual shelving tracks. They also removed the support beams to my stairs and when the crew stated they were done I questioned if they were going to reinstall the sink as promised by Teddy Hall when I signed my paperwork. I was told to call the office and someone else would come out. This all really came to a head when the following day, despite the job not being completed, they attempted to have the loan released to them stating all work was completed. When I relayed to Scott that I was concerned that my radon machine was not working properly since they drilled through the concrete right where it was he seemed to be confused over what radon even is which is concerning considering he was identified as the person in charge of the work crews that work in basements. I also noted that the sink had not been reinstalled which he was very quick to state was not their concern or issue. I again had to strongly advocate for myself saying this was something promised at the time I signed the contract. Teddy Hall was sent to come through that Friday, noted that the sink still needed to be reinstalled and that some of the caulking along the tracks needed to be touched up. I was promised that no later then that following Monday (2/11/9) I would be contacted with when I crew would be coming through to complete the job. He left and the company promptly tried to have the loan released again stating work was done. This time, through a three way call with the financing company, I spoke with the General Manager Matt Golonka, who seemed absolutely shocked that the work was not complete and promised a prompt follow up. So three weeks later my basement is still not completed and I have heard nothing back from this company. Despite this being a rather costly project I have been the one who has had to follow up, non-stop, with this company after continued miscommunications and false promises. I am confused as to how a business with such poor communication and customer service skills is still in business. I am not confused over their ratings and numerous bad reviews.

    AA Waterproofing & Foundation Repair
Our home's basement in Frederick was completely flooded in May, 2018. We engaged Steve's company to tear out the old, fast beginning to mold drywall and framing, and then install a "French Drain" system along the entire interior perimeter. Three weeks later we had another massive rainstorm, and the basement stayed completely dry. The sump pump kicked on and ran continuously, never thought we'd be so happy to hear a product hard at work! AA Waterproofing's team were professional, timely, did great work and cleaned up after the job so that the next crew could come in and renovate the basement. Would highly recommend AA.

    Keystone Foundation Repair Inc
Very responsive which was great. All the other foundation repair and engineering companies were so busy they didn't even call us back. The repair guys were on time and courteous. Did need them to come back to do some additional sealing which wasn't done the first time. That was painful because of time off work, etc. but overall, we were pleased. The excessive rain lately has proven their repair job was done right. No more leak. A bit pricey, but we had no other estimates for comparison.

    A A Action Waterproofing Inc
The waterproofing went great. The drain went in quickly and they were able to minimalize damage in tearing up my bathroom tile and cabinets in the office. If you are looking for a company that will fix drywall and tile that is torn up for the drain, you will have to look elsewhere. It was made very clear during the estimate that they would not do anything other than installing the drain and sump pumps and I was OK with that. Overall it was great service and would recommend them to people who can hang drywall and lay tile if they need the drain for a finished/semi-finished basement.

    All Aspects Waterproofing
This was our first large project completed by a service provider in our new house, but thanks to All Aspects it was a breeze. Service manager Kenny Ferguson came out prior to the appointment for a consultation. He answered all of my questions and we agreed on the work to be done. Throughout the run up to the day of the work, All Aspects stayed in touch and answered follow up questions. On the day of the job, they arrived on time and got to work, finishing everything in about 6 hours. The work involved temporarily tearing up pavers and a 40 foot segment of our yard to run the discharge line, so we were expecting the yard to be a mess. However they were very careful and we were amazed how good it looked afterward. All in all they did a quality job quickly and efficiently, and All Aspects has continued to be available for additional questions about how to maintain the work over the winter. We are very pleased with everything that's been done and will call on All Aspects in the future if we need additional work.

    Budget Waterproofing Inc
When called Budget Waterproofing, Mike Simonds came to assess the problem of seepage of water in the basement. He was very professional and explained what did happen  and suggested the to change the sump pump and also extend the drain pipe about 6 feet from the wall. This will help to direct water away from the house and seepage may not occur. Also he showed us big holes near the main house entrance steps. He also promised to fill these holes. All this work was completed on time.
I would recommend Budget Waterproofing for any issue related to likeage, seepage of water in the house. Excellent work performance.

    Edram General Construction Llc
The work was done very professionally and timely and to my complete satisfaction.  The finished product is absolutely beautiful.  At conception, they came up with ideas that would make the room better for my elderly mother which I appreciated.  Also, along the way with constructon, if I wanted to change something, they always were agreeable and would do what I was requesting.  They finished the addition in the time frame promised.   Attention to detail was incredible.   There was no punch list at the end.   It was just perfect.   I would definitely use them again, in fact I have.   During this last major rain storm, there was water coming in around my chimney.  I called Edvin.  He came out at night with a worker to get up in my attic and determine where the water was coming from.   They determined the problem and corrected it within a few days.   My basement also flooded during this period.  They were there on the spot the next day removing my carpeting, cutting out the drywall at the base so no mold would grow and installing a sub-pump.   I love this company, and would highly recommend them.

    BIOSERV ENVIRONMENTAL INC
First: I called for some follow-up and got a message saying Bioserv was no longer accepting new remediation work,; they are transitioning to "consulting only". Their mocrobiologist, who performed the initial evaluation, is not a present reachable on his cell phone. So maybe the rest is moot.
Altho cabinets, my tools etc. were covered with heavy palstic, there was residue from what they sprayed everywhere--tfloors,  oil heater,  etc.  The second door was done 8 days later by a different carpenter. I also discovered  today (7/30) that they had failed to block the airway connecting the small bathroom in the unfinished basement to the finished part. I could only leave a message at their main number.
II cannot evaluate the effectiveness of the anti-mold work, and the offered yearly maintenance (a kind of extended service contract) is I assume no longer available.

    Aquaguard Waterproofing
They were all A's. They were very professional. They came out and did what they needed to do quickly. It was a wow. There was no pressure to buy anything else. Overall, I was pleased. They left with everything cleaned. I had an issue with something they installed which broke six months after they finished the job. Because there was a warranty, they came out and replaced it so it was very good.
