    My family and I have been taking our cars to David Ludewig and his team at Bill and Earl���s Transmission in Frederick Maryland for all our auto repairs needs for over twenty years. He is extremely knowledgeable about car repair - there is no one else I trust to work on my cars and to perform routine maintenance and repairs. Dave���s great work is helping me keep my fifteen year old car (with 245,000 mile), and my new car (with 50,000 miles) on the road running smoothly. After each service the car is returned to me clean and he shows me the work he has done and the parts that were replaced. He never pushes additional repairs that are not need. His pricing is fair and reasonable and he (and his team ) treat their customers with respect. Whenever I have a car care/repair question I never hesitate to stop by and ask Dave as I know he will listen respectively and provide an honest answer. Dave and his team provide quick repair service and excellent customer service. When my friends and coworkers ask about auto repair facilities I always recommend David and his team. I highly recommend David Ludewig at Bill and Earl���s Transmission in Frederick Maryland for their high quality work, excellent customer service and reasonable pricing.

    We have always been satisfied with the excellent service and reasonable prices. Jim is skilled and knowledgeable and he doesn���t upsell unnecessary repairs. The shop and waiting room are not fancy but that���s okay because we appreciate the repair and maintenance costs being kept low.

    I thought it was a little much and I could get it done at jiffy lube cheaper but I have their warranty. They are  little grumpy about providing the shuttle service to get me home and back. The workmanship, the mechanical part is fine. The customer service is why they get a B, they are a little surly at times.

    They immediately diagnosed a clutch problem basically over the phone and then assessed the vehicle to confirm. They replaced the minimal part that was required and tested for functionality and did not proceed any further when the problem was resolved. This is a big contrast to dealerships and other shops that replace entire assemblies and incur heavy costs when the actual issue may have been caused by a smaller component. They are family owned and operated and their service is excellent. Their pricing is very reasonable. I won't be visiting another shop.

    They are just great. My wife and I both take our vehicles there. She has a Honda CRV but my car isn't foreign, it's an (old) Chevy Malibu. When I first asked them about servicing a domestic car they were very open and said that they can handle any regular maintenance or relatively simple repairs but they've yet to tell me no on anything that's needed fixing. Have I mentioned that it's an old Malibu? They've been great about telling me what should be fixed now, what can wait for a bit and what can be ignored. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone else.

    Excellent work. Mr Blue was very professional told us everything that he was going to do and the price was very reasonable. The dealer wanted twice as much and not all of the work the dealer quoted need to be done. Mr. Blue is very knowledgeable about car repair and we would definitely use him again,

    They manager was very verbally sour about being at work on New Years. It was not a very nice customer experience.  I thanked them for being there on New Years Day. Not everybody likes it but it the stores open you have to be there. They shortcut the work. I've had problems in the past before. I'm not sure why I even went there, maybe because I was close to the location at the time. They give very poor customer service. I think they are sloppy with their work. It's very disappointing. It' shard to find a good mechanic.

    I ended up taking it to a local repair shop. They said the problem was that I let the oil go out. I din't have it changed. Something was broken because I didn't have oil. Apparently it's a common problem with that car. Some of the electrical stuff was messing up, too. Another common problem with that car. So, I go there because its convenient, but the price is outrageous. $65 for an oil change when normally it's $25. They do a 21-point inspection, but it shouldn't cost more than $25. I wouldn't recommend people go there. I go there because it's convenient, to get it over with, but I don't recommend them. Oil costs like $5 for a quart, it's $10 for a filter. Why am I paying $65 for that? I'd go to the dealer if I wanted my car inspected. You could get a little pan and a ratchet set and you could do that yourself. $5 for a quart of oil, $10 for a filter. I guess the hard part is the hazardous disposal fee because they can't dump it in the grass. They have to dispose of it. It can be taken to the recycling center. They take hazardous material. Here, they have a take-it-free, I think once in May and again in November. Otherwise they charge you, for that, and batteries and mercury, and stuff like that. I believe in DIY. But, it's not easy. You can't do everything. Getting all the stuff done. I just don't have the time. So I look for deals, Try to find a handyman. I've called a handyman a couple of times. But there are things I don't do. I don't mess with plumbing and I don't' mess with electric. I don't plan on burning the house down and I don't plan on flooding the place. The Lube Center does excellent service. They give good information. They change the oil. They make you comfortable. They give you coffee or whatever. They clean the car. You can wait in a waiting room. They have excellent service. But, it's not cheap. And I don't want to pay $65 for it. They try to make me feel good about writing that $65 check, but they can forget about it. I don't like it.

    The manager was very concerned on doing a great job as my vehicle didn't pass the MD inspection due to the conditions of the front bumper and explained to me all the work that needed to be done in order to properly repair it. They did a great job as the vehicle passed the inspection after the repairs performed by the shop.
