    Solid Brick Contracting LLC
REPUTABLE, TRUSTWORTHY, and REASONABLE!!! Brick Solid Contracting went above and beyond to meet our expectations. The job involved repairing two 75 foot retainer walls with sitting area; building a paver patio w/ corner fire pit, costume barrel fire storage, steps, and landscaping. Oscar was a pleasure to work with. He was always available by phone or email. He answered every question we had with detail and made sure we were satisfied with the end result. I will definitely use them again and have already recommended others to use them.

Curtis and his team did a FANTASTIC JOB! The team was punctual, friendly and very helpful in answering any questions we had. They worked diligently throughout the day, all the while ensuring they were neat and very exacting in their activities. When the job was completed, they took the time to go back and makes sure no tools and or "stuff" was left anywhere. Curtis spent time with me reviewing what we needed to do for the next few days as well as providing tips to ensure the longevity of the driveway surface I couldn't be more pleased with the teams work and would HIGHLY recommend to others! Thank you team!!!!

    Ultra Seal Systems Inc
The guys did a great job, cleaned everything well. They were conscientious about my concern for being on a well and did not use excessive amounts of water at any time, alternating periods of cleaning. They were also careful not to damage shingles when cleaning my roof.

    EASTERN OVERHEAD DOOR
The installer was prompt and quickly and neatly performed the installation. The only small negative was that no light bulbs were installed in the openers. The technician was very professional and we were pleased with the overall installation.

    The Outdoor Connection Inc
The landscaping around the house was overgrown after being in place for 25 years. That was all removed and replaced with new landscaping and a more modern retaining wall. The project came out just as I had hoped and it gave a whole new look to the front of the house. The new patio and retaining walls in the back replaced the old concrete slab. Everything was done neatly and the yard was reseeded where any grass was disturbed. After 2 weeks, all of the plants are doing well and it still looks great.

    Link's Paving Inc
Link's put down a stone base over my old driveway which was a good stable base. They then applied a thick coat of asphalt over the stone. Edges and transitions look good. My father used them and was happy so I thought I would and I am happy too. I always pass their number along to friends in need of a new driveway.

    Goode Paving & Sealcoating, Inc
I contacted Goode Paving to request a quote on removing the 20+ year old concrete driveway on my elderly parent's home and installing asphalt.  The representative was very pleasant and provided a lot of information over the phone about the company and what they do.  They scheduled an estimate for the following day and the estimator showed up 10 minutes early.  I was concerned about proper water drainage, as they had a few problems with the current driveway, but he was knowledgeable about the proper technique to solve my problem. Their price was reasonable, about in the middle of the bids I received, but the main selling point was their professionalism.  Of the estimates I received (some only verbal, some written on the back of a business card) Goode Paving provided an incredibly professional presentation.  From the folder they provided with a host of information about the paving process, hiring a paving contractor, and caring for my driveway to their typed estimate, uniformed employees, and overall knowledge of the trade, I did not hesitate to put this job in their hands. On the day we scheduled to have the work completed they arrived on time and worked very efficiently, did everything they promised, and cleaned up effectively.  Now, nearly three weeks after the work was completed, the water is flowing as promised and the job looks excellent.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them again.

The ladies that came out were very nice and seemed knowledgeable but were unable to complete the service.  They suggested we contact Angie's List to get a refund.  We did and have already received the refund.

    HMS PAVING INC
Don't let Anthony Stanley (owner) fool you.  I picked HMS paving as they were in the middle cost range of the three estimates received.  I went with Tony as he seemed like a nice guy when I met him.  when it came time to do the work, they showed up without gas for their compressor to run the sprayer. I provided them gas to do the work.  One of the workers laid down coal tar in front of my garage door and splatter coal tar on the door.  the worker denied even thought i was standing right there watching him do it.  I had to why the spots on the door to show the worker that it was fresh and he did it.  Then they try to remove the overspray which even made it worse as they just smeared over the door.  I call Tony (owner) as he wasn't onsite to inform him what happened.  he just made up excuses, didn't want to listen to me, he stated "accidents happen, what do you want to do about it." I said "pay of the door to get repainted." Then Tony went into the whole ordeal saying that he is loosing money on the job ohh woes is me, etc. etc.  One of the workers walked across the newly just sprayed coal tar to inform me that they ran out of coal tar and have to come back. His footprints are still embedded in the coal tar spray on my driveway.  The worker said when they come back to finish, they would fix. They didn't. Tony also wants to get paid in cash. for two hours of work at $2800, that's a very hefty profit. the coal cost $600 and salaries of the six people (yes six - 3 to watch, one to spray, and two to walk around). Would i hire tony again - mostly likely not as he is not a fair business man, doesn't want to listen to his paying customers, and complains that he is loosing money - which he didn't as he made a nice profit not paying taxes on $2800 for two hours of work.

    Nature's Artisans
Justin and his crew did a great job.  The patio especially turned out nicely, but the landscaped beds were also well done.  In the months before the work started we communicated frequently with Justin and he was always very responsive.  We got estimates from several similar contractors, but Justin's was the most professional submission and he obviously was a cut above the rest.  He's the only one who addressed ground preparation for the patio as well as the landscaped beds, which I appreciated.  While the crews working on site were h****** my existing yard, Justin went above-and-beyond to repair/replace sod.
We did have a problem with the patio: for some unknown reason, the poly-sand used to fill in between the pavers did not harden appropriately.  However, after apprising Justin of the issue, he promptly confirmed the problem and replaced the old, defective poly-sand with new.  The problem was purely due to a defective product and was not the fault of the contractor.  We also recently noticed the mulch in the landscaped beds was almost gone after only a few months after creation.  Justin promptly sent his crew out to put more mulch in the beds to correct it.  I highly recommend Justin and Nature's Artisans.
