  • I contracted Maryland Pro Wash of Maryland to remodel my bathroom in my 3-bedroom ranch home after previous contractor falsely advertised project on Angies List. It is January 21st 2017 and the project is incomplete. After promises from the contractor that he would order a few items, he would be back to finish. Hasn’t happened with no communication. So, I have finished the project myself. Maryland Pro Wash came out to the house and agreed to the advertised price of a complete bathroom remodel. They also stated that the job would take 8 days to complete. Great! The project was to start on October 17th, 2016. Unfortunately, I had scheduling conflict and the project started on October 18th with o reservations from Maryland Pro Wash. The project started on October 18th at 9:00 am. Demolition started well and they piled up debris on the side of my driveway. The demolition went well except when it came to the tub, they were ill prepared to move it that day. They only were on the jobsite for 5 hours. Over the next 3 days, they only spent 15 hours on the job and I thought, somethings not right here. I did offer that they could work as late as they wanted, no time restrictions. They also created a large mess in the house and outside in my driveway. The project continued and just about every day they worked shortened days. They also would have to run back and forth to Home Depot for supplies. I had a scheduling conflict one day and they agreed to make it on the end of the project. Twelve days into the project, the project manager left the country to go to Africa. I was able to convince them they could work on the project without him. The bathroom was “Functional” at this point in time but not completed. All of the work that was done on the remodel was at “Amateur” level, definitely not a professional, what I paid for. They came back, multiple times to correct flaws in the paint, finish and flooring. The grout between the tiles keeps coming out. I have radiant baseboard heat in the bathroom and they dissembled it during demolition. They threw away many of external parts of the system. The owner said he would order new parts and install them. Months have gone by and no parts or installation. I ordered the parts and installed them 2 weekends ago myself. I gave up and have had to go back and correct the problems myself to get the professional look that I expected. I had to clean up and remove all of the leftover debris that was left on the driveway. If you were looking at hiring Maryland Pro Wash as a contractor, I would tell you to stay clear if you want your project to be done in a professional manner.

  • They were wonderful.   They repaired the damage from the lightening strike.  They also made a some repairs that were needed.  The room looks better that it has in years.

The back deck had been damaged when pieces of the chimney slammed into it.  That damage was repaired.  The supports under the deck were reinforced.  The final work this week was to strip then repaint the deck.  It looks terrific.

  • This is the second time I've had Leland from Tim Kyle Electric out to our house. He is extremely professional & thorough. This is the second year we've signed up for their service plan, which gives us the safety check plus 10% off services. A very detailed report is given & explained so that we can prioritize any work needed. Highly recommend.

  • They were awesome! I got 2 painters for a day deal for $880 and bought $200 in paint (7 gallons). I wanted our large basement and guest room painted. We didn't think it would be possible to paint it all in 8 hours and planned on having to probably finish it ourselves. Well, they painted everything PERFECTLY in 7 hours! They even filled in all the holes and cracks. Also, I contacted them Friday afternoon and they were here Monday morning. Save yourself some money and get the painting deals, buy the paint, remove the outlet covers, and move furniture yourself. I got quotes from other companies for the same area and they ranged between $1500-$1800 (included paint). Also, a friend of mine got a painting deal from another company on Angie's List and wasn't as pleased (they were fast and sloppy). Sheldon & Sons were great and I don't see a single issue. We had Kevin and William and I would definitely request them again.

  • Mr. Seeley is a professional and a perfectionist.  He diligently worked everyday to complete the job.  Our home is 160 years old and it took a fair amount of scraping and sanding to prepare the surfaces for painting.  He takes great pride to perform a high quality job and always left the work area cleaner than when he started.  I found him to be friendly, trustworthy and respectful.  We have two large dogs and he took care of letting them out during the day while we were at work.  He even shared fresh vegetables from his garden with us. I highly recommend Mr. Seeley and will definitely use him again.

  • Work began just after 8:00 AM and finished just after noon. It included a trip to a box store, 9 miles away to pick up additional parts. We also asked that the electrician look a a downstairs bathroom fan that was quite noisy, but he wasn't able to correct the     problem.
The work was done in a professional manner, although the final bill seem quite high.

  • After getting estimates from two other contractors,  we selected Complete Kitchens from Angie's List for a third estimate. We were impressed with the knowledge and professionalism Scott Grubb who responded promptly to our inquiry. He came up with additional suggestions for design, the center island and lighting. He also pointed out that, while it was our choice, they were able to provide custom cabinets manufactured in their local facility. We found the price of the mid-grade manufactured cabinets to be about the same as the custom made and decided to go with the custom cabinetsWe were given a start date about 6 weeks away. Work began on schedule at the end of April, 2014 and was completed within 4 weeks. We were totally unable to use the kitchen area for only about a week.Doug and his crew were great about cleaning up every day. Scheduling of all the subs went smoothly. We were very pleased with the quality of the custom cabinets and the finishes as well as the tile back splash and painting..Laura, the  office manager made getting any of our question or concerns answered quickly.

  • After requesting an appointment in my home, I was informed that I was too far away. As I am in Carroll County and only three miles north of the Baltimore County line, I'm not sure what parts of Carroll County are covered. I have suggested that Carroll County be removed from the service area.

  • From start to finish Tim Schwartz was a total professional. This home is a second home that is not rented so it sits idle much of the time. In 15 years of owning the home, Tim is the first contractor I felt comfortable with allowing the work to be done without my seeing it daily. The reason is that daily he uploaded to me dozens of photos of first the damage, and then every single step of the repair. I have hundreds of photos of this job. But, the proof came when I saw the house. If you did not know it, you might not realize he had been there. The Chimney is better than new and all other aspects came out very well. The grounds were also left very clean by his crew. Tim also took the time to explain every aspect of the damage, which was extensive with the leaks on-going almost since the house was built, and the repairs. I have never had a contractor spend so much time on the phone with me to make sure I understood what he was doing and more importantly, why he did it his way.
I have spent a lot of time over the years with various repair folks that only nibbled around my problems. Tim got them fixed. He did a premium job and for that he demands a bit of a premium price. But, the extra 10% I probably paid him over someone who might not have done nearly as thorough a job was well worth it. If you are an absentee owner, Tim will put your mind at rest. Very impressed with him and his firm and plan to use them for other work such a re-roofing in the future.

  • Painter arrived on time and went right to work repairing the ceiling.  The room took several coats of paint and ceiling needed to be hand dried to achieve a nice finish.  The painter was very conscientious and did a wonderful job. After all was done it looked like a totally new room; lover it.  I will certainly call on Kargman's next time I need additional work done.
