    Reliable Paving
During the cutouts of the dents, their concrete saw stopped working several times. They came back the next day with a rental one and proceeded to finish filling the holes with stone and cold patch blacktop and sealed the driveway. I was told that it would take 10 days to two weeks for the patches to harden. It has now been over 4 weeks and most of the larger patches are still soft. I've left several phone messages at their office but no one called back. Not a company that cares about their customers.

They paved my driveway and it was full of cracks less than a year later. They were supposed to come back and fix them but never showed up again. They did not compact the asphalt properly. Anything heavy left on it, like a flower pot or bench, will leave a hole or an impression. Also did a terrible job of sealing the driveway. It was sprayed instead of rolled.

very well. They did the job in one day...four days later my neighbor and I were enjoying our new blacktop driveway as opposed to our rutty, potholed dirt road. What a delight. And at a great price point.

While they were doing the work they weren't afraid to come up with a better way to do the design, than originally drawn up, or listen to our suggestions. The driveway design was drawn out very well, before hand, and they explained everything they were doing along the way. They were extremely friendly, easy to talk to, and I felt comfortable having them at my house.

    All County Paving LLC
I purchased the deal for driveway sealcoating on June 24,2014 All county contacted me with a schedule date of 06/27/2014. All county sent an email stating they were unable to get material to perform the job and re-scheduled for 06/29/2014. They came and stated that my driveway had water based sealer on it and the oil based sealer that they use would not dry properly. They tried to sell me the water based sealer for $ 300.00 it is a classic bait and switch tactic. i turned their offer down. I am requesting a refund for the $ 75.00 i paid. Thank You, William waters

    Tri State Paving
Bad to good (I thought) to worse. I contacted this company multiple times since the end of March, beginning April time Frame spoke to 'Gus' who advised me the season hadn't kicked off yet to call back later. I called several times and left messages to get quotes on driveway widening, to no available. It wasn't until I purchased the 'Big Deal' coupon and never got contacted to schedule the service within the first week that I realized it was the same [non-responsive] company from earlier in the year. I found the only way to get prompt response was to go through the message center on Angie's List. I spoke to 'Chris' about scheduling the seal coating service and said I was having concrete work done and was willing to work with them and the seal coating could wait.

Since I was told they had to finish the contracted jobs and the seal coating jobs are done after the larger jobs at the end of the year no problem, but then I was revisiting the thought of widening the driveway and contacted TriState to give me a quote for adding a 150 sq. ft. section prior to seal coating and I was told that 150 sq. ft. was too small of a job for them and they would refer me to someone else. I met with another company who was given my number by Tri-State and when Tri-State found out I was actually contracting to have my entire 1,500 sq. ft. driveway torn out and redone, they called the company I was contracting with and then blew up my phone and advised me I couldn't contract with the other company and told me the other company bashed me and put a 'no bid' bar on me.

However, in talking to the other contractor, who was interested enough to give me a quote and go over contract information and was intending to email me the contract to sign, I was told Tri-State put a 'no bid' bar on me and any company Tri-State deals with is prohibited from doing the work for me for threat of having being [barred] themselves and would find a shortage of work within their circle of occupation. So, I requested a refund of the sealcoating coupon and informed Angie's List of my entire [extreme] ordeal with this company.

    Mickey's Asphalt Co
First I must say we used Mickey's initially to install a driveway a few years back, and we were pleased with the results. Recently, Mickey's Asphalt was in the neighborhood doings asphalt work for other neighbors. One Saturday we received a knock on the door to see if we would like to have our driveway seal coated for $250.00. The price seemed reasonable, and we were pleased with their past work of our driveway installation, so we decided to get it done. The seal coat application was done within minutes. We were told to stay off the driveway for 24 hours. After the twenty four hours, the driveway looked wet and the tar topcoat was extremely tacky. So Sunday late afternoon we called the provider to see if they could provide information of why the driveway was not dry. Didn't hear back. On Monday evening thinking the driveway would be dry after 48 hours, my husband returned from work and parked on the driveway and left slight tire mark impressions. We called the office on Tuesday afternoon. The receptionist said she knew we called and said they had tried to call us back, but no message was left.( We have caller I.D., and I check my call log as well.) She said she would have someone call within the half hour. We waited two hours and called again, this time the receptionist got the one of the gentlemen who applied the seal coating. I explained now it was 72 hours later, the driveway was extremely tacky, and asked what could we do. They said they would come out the next morning and take a look.. They did come by the next morning, and they didn't seem too bothered by the marks left, and really couldn't explain why it still was not dry. They said they would stop around on Saturday and retouch the marks that were made. They never stopped back. The driveway took at least four more days to dry. We were disappointed they couldn't call back, provide answers, or stop back when they said they would.

Unable to get in touch with these people. The first time I called I left a message- I received a call back that said to call them back-which I attempted to do relentlessly. For about two weeks the phone rang off of the hook-without the ability to leave a message. Then for about two weeks the phone was disconnected. Once the phone was back in service busy signals every time i called...for days on end and even redialing couldn't get passsed the busy signal. Then back to days of the phone ringing off of the hook-without the ability to leave a message.
I gave up...even though they were recommended to me by someone-I wasn't willing to endure anymore and thought if it is this difficult to get in touch with them to come out for a quote I wasn't taking any chances with relying on them for service.
