This company is the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a "repair." 1. First technician never showed up. 2. Second technician shows up, glanced at the machine and TOLD me verbally that it would be cheaper to replace than to repair. 3. Second technician writes up a two line assessment. The Information he he provided was incorrect. He said "stacked washer" which we do not have. Secondly, he claims he quoted me a price for repairs and he absolutely did not do that. 4. Company in order to "make this right" was supposed to send a NEW tech at 10 am. on Saturday. HE NEVER SHOWED. TWICE the "COMPANY" AND I USE THAT WORD LOOSELY, because this was an absolute fiasco and a scam. 5. I was told by one of the phone operators that my money would be refunded. Yet, I get an email saying it would not be. 6. I called AGAIN to explain AGAIN what transpired and demand I be refunded my money. TWO NO SHOWS AND A LIAR is what the company provided and yet refused a refund. Just for the no shows, I should be reimbursed for my time. I WAITED at the assigned time SET BY THEM for both no show appointments!!! I had to leave my office to get home to deal with the techs at the ASSIGNED TIMES, TWICE! So, not only did they not provide a competent technician they cost me money having to miss work!! At this point the money paid for the assessment and missed work time, I could have purchased a new washer!! The technician got paid....I paid him....BUT I AM THE ONE THAT LOST NOT ONLY THE PAYMENT BUT THE MONEY I WOULD BE PAID AT MY JOB. How is this not a refundable situation? I demanded a refund yet again. Instead, I was was then offered a $15 credit towards the repairs. I let them know I would never allow someone from their company to touch any appliance I have. THEN SHE HUNG UP ON ME!! What the company did here was completely unprofessional. I am a very dissatisfied customer with hard evidence proving they scammed me.

    Sears Appliance Repair
My freezer has been icing up due to excessive moisture. Two service companies has been dispatched to make the repair under my Sears Home Warranty. The company names are Advance Appliance & Absolute Appliance. After the first service visit, four steel bearings fell from the freezer drawer and the freezer iced up within 12 hours. The second company came and said he could not reinstall the bearings and set the freezer temperature to 5 degrees. He claimed this is causing the problem since we are keeping the freezer temperature too low. Ironically, the KitchenAid recommended temperature on the freezer is 0 degrees and clearly marked on the panel. Sears has provided no assistance working with their service providers to facilitate getting this repair completed. They set the appointment and then make the customer deal directly with the assigned technician who is an outside contractor. It was a BIG mistake signing up for Sear Home Warranty which had a substantial upfront cost and $50 per month premium in addition to the $75 deductible for service technician calls. My freezer is worse today than before I called for service.

    Dave Harrison Appliance Repair LLC
My refrigerator is 12 years old, still in good working status, but just seems to run longer with noticeable noise. Dave arrived on time and immediately started the diagnosis process. He confirmed that the condenser coil is clean, and the fans are working. He doesn't work on the sealed components but he gave a few very practical suggestions for the next steps. He didn't charge me even though I insisted. He said he happened to have another job nearby. I would definitely call him again in the future.

I cannot speak to their repair work but I can speak to their honesty. The owner texted me early morning and called as I indicated my reapir was an emergency with a home full of children! He asked me questions and indicated our brand was not one he worked one. His complete honesty and information as to where to go for help is something rare in today's world where he did not receive any money, just spent 10-25 minutes advising and helping us. If you can use this company, certainly they take pride in what they do and very ethical.

    Home Systems Appliance Repair
This company is wonderful. Jim, the owner, called me early morning as my repair was an emergency. I originally had to schedule for the following day. I then changed my schedule and called back. He got a service call for me that day. He was very professional and stated the service call charge up front so i knew exactly what to expect. Dave, the service tech, then called me when he was on his way and showed up on time, early in the day. He was very knowledgeable, polite, and took care in evaluating what was wrong. Sadly, our compressor was bad. Dave even called Sears and explained that the part was still under warranty for me. He then spoke to me about options. He said his advice would be to have them supply the part under warranty. Home Systems could replace it when it arrived but he said since Sears installing would hold them to the warranty, it was better to have them do it. WOW! Honesty as to what was best for the customer. This company has my respect. Completely trust Jim and Dave and very fortunate to have them help us out.

    Landers Appliance Inc
Needed my stove top ignition system repaired. Landers responded in at timely manner and the scheduling was easy. Bill, the technician, was professional and courteous. The house call cost $120.00. Bill estimated the repair to be an additional $850.00. Thus, the total cost to repair was close to $1000.00. I have since hired another firm (not using Angie's List) who was able to do this for substantially less.

I called Mr. Harrison. He returned my call very quickly and he gave me great advice over the phone. I ended up fixing the dryer myself. HIs price was also the most reasonable. He is moral, ethical and reasonable. I would definitely hire him before anyone else. I am very grateful to him.

When Dave arrived for diagnosis he put his toolbox on the floor in the kitchen, he pulled the fridge out, tested the electronics and knew he needed to order a new circuit board. He ordered and installed the replacement board in 3-4 days. I thought he did well considering he had to order the replacement part.

    Home Systems Appliance Repair
David was very responsive to my inquiry, and gave me fair quote up front. We scheduled appointment, and he was punctual for that appointment. David quickly identified the issue, and ordered the necessary part. We then scheduled a second appointment (one week later) in order to install the part. He was punctual for that appointment too, and repaired the dishwasher. Upon repair, he identified a second issue and quickly remedied that. I would definitely hire David again for any of my appliance needs.

    Home Systems Appliance Repair
Great! It was a small hole & getting bigger. He replaced the gasket (NO second trip with the part!) Then, when he ran a test cycle, he noticed the cold water was drawing slowly. He removed the hose & cleaned out the sediment. I was shocked when I ran my first load- the water draw was soo much faster! Bonus! Shows good customer care. Left the work area tidy & was really nice. Final cost matched estimate exactly. That's about all you can ask for!!
