The technician showed me some things that were going on with the car. The car drives smooth like it's brand new. They recommended I have the back brakes changed.

It was done within the time they said. They're smart guys and know what they are doing.

Made appointment for opening time, 0800; was told it would be an hour wait. Arrived at 0805 and was told it would be 1.5 hours. In total it was nearly 3 hours. Other than that everything was great. The staff were friendly and professional. They took very good care to not damage my low-profile wheels. The cost was very fair. I will definitely use them again in the future for tire and wheel services.

I ordered a new BMW in April 2014 via a military purchase program while assigned to the UK and BMW of Towson was the nearest participating dealer to my new assignment. Production was in early June and was en route US early July. Once the vehicle was on a vessel I contacted the dealership to inquire about port install options (bit installed at the port of entry vice at the dealership and saving considerable cost). The call was on a Saturday and the salesman I spoke with said he didn't have the information at the moment but would call me back on Monday. By Friday I still had not heard from him. I followed with calls that went to voicemail. Eventually I found another salesman that responded. He indicated he did know when the car would be there and that port install options were not available on military sales (still haven't confirmed this, seemed odd).
I arranged to have the work done at the dealership at a very high cost. I knew it was high, but agreed as I wanted it delivered with all bits and work done. I had to very specific requirements for delivery; no front license plate bracket to be screwed into my bumper as front license plates are not required in the state of registration, and for no dealership logos to be installed on my car (I didn't buy a new car to provide them with advertisement). Upon first visit to the dealership after the car arrived I discovered a front license plate bracket screwed into my bumper and their logo affixed to the rear of vehicle. I insisted it be resolved and after a couple weeks they were able to swap the bumper from another vehicle to my car but never did remove the logo.
The delivery process was time consuming and disorganized. I'd arranged for pickup but when I arrived none of the paperwork was done and they had not done their homework on courtesy deliveries. They spent a good hour trying to figure out how to get paid when I'd long ago sent payment directly to BMW AG. They also charged me $99 for nitrogen in the tires that I never requested. When questioned, and after a phone call, they deleted the charge. Still, pretty presumptuous and aggressive (and expensive). The gentleman assisting me was very nice and worked hard, but stated he'd not been told I was showing up and was therefore not ready. Upon inspection a couple of the cameras were installed upside down, an error with the new bumper installed. Not a big deal, they arranged for an offsite location to immediately correct; took all of 30 minutes and they were very apologetic. After getting the car home and trying out some of the technology features I couldn't get some to work. I contacted BMW North America and they advised the dealership was supposed to activate these features with a signed agreement upon delivery; they didn't It's even on the delivery checklist that was in the glovebox with a place for dealer and buyer's signature that was never completed. I didn't even get an owners manual in the glovebox.
Overall I was not impressed by the customer service provided during the delivery process. Perhaps if I'd actually bought the car through them it would have been better. I don't know if they are compensated by BMW NA for courtesy deliveries, but they did make a substantial markup on the work performed and the standard dealer paperwork fees. I'm not sure if I'll be having the car serviced their or not. I know sales and service are different departments, but I've been disappointed thus far.

    The Suzuki  XL 7 story
Its very difficult to find a great, honest, and reliable owner who can master the ability to fix foreign vehicles. Mechanics who care about the customer needs instead of lining their pockets with money while the customer goes unsatisfied. However, I am well please to inform anyone who has a foreign vehicle to take it to Waters Auto Service @ 1009 Edgewood Road Unit B phone number is 410-610-0288.  I am a single woman new to the area of Harford County. I was referred by a customer who continues to have his vehicle repaired at Waters Auto Service. The gentleman told me to go there and ask for Glenn whom stands by his reputations in fixing foreign vehicles.
I met the owner Glenn who was polite and took the quality time to ride in my vehicle to hear the problem. I was hearing after two other auto shops sold me a different line. One auto service did fix the problem wit out any charge because the problem was created by them. What became a simple mechanic easy fix made the engine come light on and misfiring. This easy fix started the engine not to perform and causing the XL - 7 to misfire. When I called my service man back he told me it was cost me 119.00 for a diagnosis test. I was not sure about using this services any more after spending over 270.00. I went to another auto shop paying a diagnosis test 102.00 with a total cost of 227.00 in change with new spark plugs. The engine light was gone, but after a driving one block. I could still hear the problem.
Earlier, last Saturday July, 5 while getting a haircut @ Anthony Barber Shop in Harford County. I asked, "Do anyone know a honest a reputable auto shop." Waters Auto Service is not only honest. This auto shop stands by its reputations in fixing foreign vehicles. The price to access the problem was 46.27. My trunk is my livelihood for work and to visit those who are sick and shut in. Mr. Glenn and his mechanics @ Waters Auto Service I appreciate your service to the Highest. ??????

Went in with emission failure printout for a specific failure to be fixed. They ran a diagnostic test and found another issue. I approved fort them to fix both for $1200. After 1week in the shop the car wasn't repaired as the parts were being ordered so I took the car home until parts came in. Took car back afew days later and car was in the shop for 3 weeks and my original emissions issue was still not fixed but the second issue was fixed for $900. After 4 weeks they realized the part ordered for the original issue was not the right part. No communication either. I had to call the, every time for a status on the car. Will not go back orrecommend. I used them before for small jobs and was satisified but not comfortable anymore. The specific failure was a fuel sending unit needed to be replaced. After 4weeks they said they ordered a fuel pump which did not have the fuel sending unit incled in the pump. Would probably have taken another week to order part and fix. Can provide additional details if necessary.

We have been using Mr. Water's Auto Service for years. He is honest, reliable, and the best place in town. I have recommended his service to all of my friends. Normally, I don't use him for oil change, its kind of price.

It went really well. The service was great. At the time my wife's car battery died. I did not have the money to get a new battery. My employer sent me there for service. That is where she gets her car repair. I was able to have the cost place on my employers account. I later paid her back as it was an emergency situation and we both need our own cars to get to work. The owner was gracious in allowing me to get the car fixed under my employers account with no problem at all. I was grateful to the owner and my employers. My wife car still has the same battery they installed.

My 1st time complimentary service went great! They contacted me by phone, e-mail prior to my service date. I made my appointment for this service online. That was really great. I had an assigned time and date to bring my car in for service.

This was a very poor experience for us, needless to say.

We would not recommend this dealership to friends or family and we hope that by reporting this that others may avoid the same issue.

It was very unprofessional and their actions lack integrity.

I took the car in for leaks in the trunk and rear passenger side floor. After a day of testing they were able to find the causes and fix them. A few weeks later the trunk started up again and I asked them to pull the drain plug for me until I could get the car back to them. I just haven't gotten the time free to take it back but I know when I do they will be glad to take care of it .
