    Five Star Quality Remodeling
I would highly recommend Five Star for any and all of your home projects. Maurice is a wonderful person to work with. Hes thorough, honest about any issues that may arise and how they would be handled. When I finished my initial consultation, I knew the timeline for the job, the possible choices I would be given in the contract and how the crew would be expected to conduct themselves. I was not disappointed. I was contacted the night before with the start time, I was kept informed of the following days schedule and the crew was respectful of me and my home and kept it neat and clean at all times. Even when I had an issue with drainage due to the type of pipes I have in my home, Maurice had the crew come back and fixed it with no extra charge. I felt very comfortable dealing with him and thats not easy to say about many of the contractors out there today. You wont be disappointed if you give this crew a call for your project. I intend to use them in the future without reservation.

On time on everything. They've done everything. They take pictures. I do highly recommend them. They are not the cheapest but they are very reasonable in pricing. Windows are excellent quality. I recommend them to my friends.

    Choice Construction
The project went well and took about two weeks. Workers showed up on time, were friendly and professional, and worked tirelessly for 8-hour days. The few problems or concerns were immediately addressed and/or corrected. The finished project is beautiful and exactly the solution to allow elderly homeowners to safely and comfortably to remain in their home. Homeowners are thrilled with the results.

Job went very well. Workers arrived on time and worked throughout the entire day. Old siding was removed from house and replaced with new siding one side of the house at a time so that the entire house would not be exposed to bad weather.  The workers  made certain that the new siding was nailed into the house studs. Light fixtures were removed and replaced after the new siding was installed. Existing gutters and downspouts were reinstalled. Workers cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each work day.  New job materials were neatly stacked and old materials and trash were removed from property daily. Workers took care not to damage shrubs and flowers around the house.

Communication between myself and the work crew was excellent. All my questions were always answered and the work was explained as the job progressed. I am very happy with the workmanship and quality of materials used on my home.

    Energy Wizard
My kitchen turned out absolutely perfect. My kitchen is small and I could never have imagined it could not only be beautiful but so much more functional. John and Mary Rose (Energy Wizard) sat down and helped me design and plan everything. They helped me every step of the way and were never more than a phone call away. I was always able to get in contact of them even when they were on vacation; unbelievable. Energy Wizard is the real deal, honesty and integrity seem to be their motto. The price of the project was more than fair for the job they did. They started when they were supposed to, came back every day they were supposed to until the job was done. The installers especially Ted was extremely knowledgeable, very particular and just did an all around great job. I feel these folks went over and beyond to make me a happy camper, which I certainly am. Didn't know initially that this company did every kind of home improvement (because of the name) thought they only did jobs pertaining to energy, electric etc, but these folks do it all. They also installed my new windows, another superior job. From now on I will no longer be shopping around when I need home repairs. I will go right to John and Mary Rose, they do it right and they do it all. One Stop Shop.

    Kargmans Inc
Overall the work that was done was quality. Our new floor looks great and we are happy with the result so far. The people we speak with in the office are very respectful and easy to work with. After two weeks of people coming to the house to work every day, we were surprised to hear that Kargman's was finished with their work and requesting payment on March 18, 2016 because we noticed several issues. An outlet was not installed, the wall that they finished was not flush with the old wall, the doors that were installed weren't finished, the light switch in the bathroom was too far recessed so that when the socket cover was on, you couldn't flip the switch. We called Kargman's and they sent someone out to finish, except that they never did. Every couple days we have to call and ask for someone to come out and finish their job. As of today April 5, 2016, the work has still not been completed and we have not heard anything for almost a week. We are looking forward to Kargman's finishing this project and in the meantime will continue to follow up until the work we paid for has been completed.

    AES Builder & Home Improvements

My dealing with AES from the beginning to the end of my kitchen remodeling was top rate.   When I contacted AES and met

Mr. Bill Miner, the AES sales representative, for the initial estimate was very positive. He was courteous, patient and explained

all that would be involved with this project. Plus he also knew we were working within a budget and worked within this limit.  Once we finalized our agreement,

Bill Miner and the owner Tim Monsen over saw the entire remodeling from beginning to end.  The AES contractors who performed

the renovation, Nate and John, displayed the highest level of professional courteous service. They answered any questions

I had about any phase of their work.

Any issues that were not to my satisfaction were immediately resolved in that same courteous/ professional manner.

These chaps really took to heart the name of AES and lived up to the company's respected name.  I saw first

hand how the company and its staff live up to the well deserved adage " If you're not happy, then we are not done."

When they completed my beautiful kitchen, me and my family were truly left happy.  I have recommended AES

to family and friends.  I plan to use them on my future remodeling needs.

    Handyman on Call LLC

Called to get an estimate for a bathroom remodel in a very small row home bathroom.  The estimator by the name of Ray came to my home and gave me a decent price for what I wanted done.  He wrote up the contract right on the spot and said it would take at most two days to complete the project.  As a Teacher I thought I would take a Friday off and allow them to do the work on Friday and Saturday; therefore, giving me my bathroom back in use on Monday.

The contractors arrived and I even went over my expectations with them.  The project started and that is when issues started arising.  The contractors, who speak terrible English, started removing walls that were not authorized to be removed.  I immediately called the company and asked them why this was occurring.  The owners wife, Vita, got very rude and stated I had to pay for new drywall because the workers alleged that I told them to remove the drywall.  At no time did I authorize such an action.  After arguing and numerous yelling matches on the phone it was determined I would only have to pay for the cost of the drywall, not

the install.  I was told that the cost for two sheets of Green Rock would cost me $250.  Upon researching the cost of :"Green Rock" I discovered that once again I was being robbed.  Green Rock at Home Depot cost 15.00 a sheet.

Then came the time to put the plastic walls in the shower.  Well that couldn't happen because the individuals who installed the drywall didn't measure correctly.  At this point I had to have tile installed at an additional cost of $300.00.  I am almost 4000.00 in to a project that was estimated at $2650.00.  They claim they are taking money off my bill; however, I do not see where that has occurred.

Another issue arose when the company sent out plumbers to the house to install my shower.  Since all the drywall was removed there were now pipes that had to be replaced.  Now I my cost went up another $250.  At this point in the project I am completely fed up with this company and am in touch with a lawyer because this company has been sanctioned numerous times over the years.  Steer away from this company at all cost.  The company is run by individuals who are native English speaking and have a difficult time communicating.  The estimator is shady as well and cannot do math because I am now at 550.00 over what I wanted to spend.

If any other customers have had this issue I am willing to discuss some type of joint lawsuit.  There has to be a way to stop individuals like this who own the company from doing shady business like this..

We had a complete makeover of our 2nd bathroom. We had all of the walls and floor tiled so we wouldn't have to paint. We used listellos to break up the wall pattern. Our workman was very conscientious and took pride in his work. Since he did the job primarily by himself, it took a little longer. My only request was to put in 3 panels of cultured marble as the shower surround. I didn't want to deal with grout lines from the tile. It worked out perfectly.
