  • Due to illness and life in general, my clutter and disorganization was out of control.  I had worked with Professional Organizers in the past, to no avail, so I was reluctant to try yet another service.   After reading through the reviews and information on other POs associated with Angie's List, I decided to try Space Matters. 
    We got off to a rough start -- the request for information I had submitted via the Angie's List website was never received by Space Matters.  I finally got their phone number from their web site and  called directly.  From the moment I spoke with Ilene, I knew I'd be in good hands.  She thoroughly explained their services and the process that would be used.  We were able to set up an appointment for later the same week.  What really attracted me was the fact that two people would be working with me, a lead organizer and an assistant organizer.
    The two young women who came, Amanda and Rachel, were fantastic!  They began by explaining the process and touring my condo (as I explained my goals for the session).  Working very efficiently as a team, they quickly sorted through my stacks and containers of papers and then worked with me to determine what to keep and what to dispose of -- although they were doing the work, I was in complete control over what went and what stayed.  They respected my decisions, stating more than once, that they were there to help me establish a system that worked for me, rather than impose an off-the-shelf system.  At the end of the session, we had accomplished the majority of the goal I had established for the session.  I was left with a neatly organized file box, some action items and filing homework and, overall, felt satisfied with what we'd accomplished.  In fact, I was so satisfied, I opted to purchase a package of 3 additional visits to tackle other areas of my home -- bedroom, kitchen, den/bedroom.

  • It went well.  They arrived a little early and they went right to work. They performed their service in a timely manner and they were nice and polite.  When they were finish they informed my husband and he reviewed their work before they left and was satisfied with what they had done.
