Driveway Pavers reviews in Damascus

    Triple A Paving
A representative of the company stopped by because said they were working in the area and would be willing to patch my driveway for a very reasonable rate. I showed him 2 areas and he quoted me about $500 for the two. He said to call Steve in the evening to see if they would be out today. I called Steve at about 7 pm. He was difficult to understand on the phone, a bit belligerent and ranted that he could not do anything for less than $1000.

    R George's Paving LLC
Richie is a honest man, the work was was done very well, edges nicely angled and elevation change to drain was well done, correcting prior drive installer issues. The crew was pleasant and worked hard. Returns calls promptly for the estimate, timely on the work and on follow-ups. Six months later the drive looks great, no cracks or upheavals after a cold winter. Richie did a sealant job on it today and was meticulous about not over spraying the oil-based product. Looks great!

    Superior Paving Co
They showed up on time, performed the work professionally and cleanly, driveway looks great! They filled some bad areas as well and prepped the edges so they could get sides where asphalt was above grade a little bit. It was a big job and they were up to it. Person in the office was professional and pleasant. I recommend these folks wholeheartedly!

    Town & Country Asphalt
The driveway looks very good.   They were very competitive in price.  They did a great job.  I can’t complain.  They were quick to come out.  They gave me a date but they could not keep it so they called me back and said that they will be here within the next two days depending on the weather and they were here.  They were clean and neat.  They cleaned up everything because they had to chop off stuff and hauled it away.  They were here at the exact time they said they will be here.

    Dominic's Paving
In all it went horribly. I went into this meeting quite happy because he had mostly great reviews on Angie's, except for the last one. I should have listened to the last one.
When he finally rolled down his window, it was to point at his phone and say: "I'm on a business call".
I'm thinking, but didn't say, "So what am I, chopped liver?"
I replied, "Are you here to do business?" He said, "Yes, but you know what? No. I don't want to do business with you."
So I said, "You know what? Me either. You can leave now."
He says, "Fine" and turns the truck around.
I was telling my sons that this is what a bad businessman looks like, and he leans out his window and says: "Brad, you wanna just stop?"
I replied: "Yes, as soon as you get out of here. The sooner, the better."
Too bad for him, because this is a quite extensive job (over 11,000 sq. ft. of paving) and the other three businesses have been extremely nice and helpful, not to mention on time & polite.
I would advise you use anyone else. Rude, late, unapologetic. If you can't get the basics right, you don't deserve the job.

    R George's Paving LLC
R George's did a beautiful job on our driveway and made the property look the best it ever has. As promised, and a little more, they fixed existing problem areas, tied into existing hard scape, and paved our long driveway and parking lot seamlessly and left it looking great. All in one day. They even patched a sore spot in our shared driveway with neighbors that was not part of the deal but was a real problem solver for us. Highly recommend them.

Nichols Asphalt Paving & Seal Coating
First, let me say I was very satisfied with the work, once it was done. That's way I gave an "Excellent" rating for quality. But, I hesitated about saying I'd use Nichols Paving again because of the difficulty I experienced in communicating with them to schedule the work. Here's the story:
I first tried emailing Nichols, but no response after about 2 weeks. No big surprise; I've often found that small companies aren't good with email communication. So I called and left a message on their voicemail, saying I had purchased their Groupon offer and wanted to schedule the work. No return call. After about a week I figured something had slipped through the crack because I'd called after hours. This time I called in the middle of the day, thinking I might get a live person. No answer; so again I leave a voice mail message. Again, a week or more passes without a return call.
By now it's at least 6 weeks since I sent that first email, and I still hadn't spoken with anyone. At this point I decided to email Groupon about the fact I hadn't heard from Nichols. I explained to Groupon that I understood Nichols was busy and didn't necessarily expect them to give me a date for the work. I just wanted assurance they'd do the work at the price I'd paid even if the stated deadline for scheduling the job had passed. I promptly received a reply from Groupon, saying they'd get in touch with Nichols and "encourage them to reach out to me."
Within a couple of days I received a call, I think from Mr. Nichols himself, at about 10 p.m. on the weekend. We were on a rare outing to see a movie, so I wasn't there to take the call. He sounded gruff and irritated in the message, and offered no apology for the failure to contact me. He just said to call back and left a number. I reached him the following Tuesday, as he was driving somewhere. He said he didn't have paperwork with him but he'd check about the scheduling and see when he could work me in. Also, he told me it would depend on when he could send somebody out to look at my driveway and make sure it met the specs for doing the work at the Groupon price. At least I finally was assured that they'd get to me at some point and the Groupon price would still be valid, even if the deadline for scheduling  had passed. Except now I wondered if they might say that something about my driveway required additional payment
Apparently my driveway passed muster, since Mr. Nichols called back about a week later and gave me a date for the work. Yay!!!  But not so fast....a day or two before the big day, he called and said they had to reschedule on account of needing to finish a big job. That was not a real problem, though I was worried about rain on the rescheduled date. Ii's just that by then, my patience had worn thin.  But, finally, on the rescheduled date, I came home from work to find a fine-looking, well-executed sealing, neatly done and with the driveway properly blocked off. My only other comment is that it would have been nice if they'd left a note about how long we should stay off the driveway to allow it to dry and cure properly.

    A Finer Surface
I asked many people, this was the only company anyone said they really liked & would use again. Quote was quick, done via email, and once the weather cooperated the job was done in a few hours. They were hardcore, bringing in jackhammers and asphalt spreaders and steam rollers. My driveway looks great & I will be using them for my biannual coating.

    Moxley Paving Inc
Moxley Paving is terrific! Their staff is extremely knowledgeable about driveways. They provided an accurate estimate of the costs. The pitch for water run-off has been great which will only enhance the long-term aging of the driveway.

    HENRY'S BLACKTOP PAVING
I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THIS COMPANY. THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME I USED THEM FOR MY DRIVEWAY. EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS SOME CONFUSION AS TO THE WORK THAT WAS TO BE PERFORMED, MR. HENRY WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KEPT TO THE CONTRACT.
