ABudget BathDave House and his team took on a bathroom re-design with an extremely small space in a victorian rowhome. There were several challenges - there is not one level floor or straight wall in the house, the plumbing system has been modified over the years - with a few surprises to be found! We wanted oodles of storage space and a "built in" feel to the design. Dave was the only contractor who provided a really insightful design for the limited space and the cost was not overly more than the other quotes we got. We were not living in the building while work took place so I can't comment on that aspect of the work but the end result? - WOW!!! I can't believe what a good job these guys did (and according to Dave a lot of prep work went into making sure there were "flat walls and floors" etc etc) and I believe that makes the difference in the high standard of work Budget Bath delivers. We have a truly beautiful bathroom which I and my husband are really delighted with. I would highly recommend Dave and his team, we would certainly use them again.- Elaine C.

ATwigg Plumbling & HeatingIt went excellently in all phases of the work. The proprietor, Joe Twigg was courteous, professional and engaging. He provided clear estimates of the costs of the work and explained issues that might come up. He was willing to use the disposal we wanted based on our independent research. The workmen were courteous and effective in working through the small problems that came up. Joe Twigg came by to solve a few minor problems. The quality of the work appears very good with the only small problem being the drains were not fully seated to the bottom of the sink meaning there is a slight sharp edge at the drain. Those are small issues. I would use Twigg again without reservation and expect to call them for other work in my home quite soon.- Paul B.

ACarl G Valentine & SonValentine's not only was responsive to my call but was also eager to get out to my property and get a quote back to me quickly. We had initially established a date for work but by a chance of good luck the additional materials needed for the job were received earlier than expected so I was contacted and asked if I wanted the job done sooner. ....(.of course I did!) I've been using Valentines as my exclusive HVAC contractor for the past several years for misc repair work and I've not yet been dissapointed. As an individual who owns property within the Cumberland, MD area but does not reside there I am extremely appreciative of their professionalism, experience, and ability to understand my needs and complete the work in a timely manner. I am only rating Quality and Pricing as a (B) because I don't have a better frame of reference on Pricing (I am sure I could have had this installed cheaper but for something like this I happy to pay the right people to complete this work) and for Quality (since I was not on premise to visually inspect the work being completed ....nor do I have the expertise to determine the quality of work, I am confident this work was done properly). I am happy to recommend this establishment.- John N.

AI was so impressed with Kitchen Savers. I kind of knew what to expect but our installer Craig Newton was very knowledgeable and knew his job. Craig was very personable, professional and also was just a great guy. He explained the whole process and the job went very well. Craig was here on time and answered all our questions when asked. I would recommend Kitchen Savers to everyone who wants to reface their kitchen cabinets and hope they are lucky enough to get Craig Newton as their installer. Their slogan is “prepared to be impressed”, well I was very impressed with the job Craig did. Thank you Craig because I love my kitchen much more now.

FI had used this company successfully 4 times in the past. This time I requested a quote online as always. The response came back from a company named Professional Auto Shippers with the same phone number as Executive Auto Shippers. They sent me a price and we set the first day of pickup as May 20. Understanding the 3 day pickup window, I got concerned late on the 21st. On a phone conversation I was promised someone would call me before the end of the day. That did not happen. The next day I called at about 10 AM because we had a 2 PM flight to return to Illinois. No answer or call back. We got in the car and made the drive back in 2 days. This morning I received information from the company and a truck driver that our car would be picked up sometime today, 7 days after the first pickup date. I told the driver we had already driven the car to Illinois. I doing a little research I learned apparently this company operates under several separate names, although the phone numbers are the same and the contact person, Ray Rodriguez is the same.

FHorrible Company!!! I hired Remodel USA to remodel my kitchen in December 2019. I was so excited about my new kitchen and the salesperson did a great job hooking me. Even the president of the company called and thanked me for choosing them. I thought I found the best company but unfortunately once they got my deposit I discovered that they are a nightmare. I called for months trying to figure out when they were going to start the work and the once they did show up they just tore everything up and left me with a huge mess that I now have to pay someone else to fix. Not one permit was pulled despite being told it was being done and that the city was asking for this or that to justify delay after delay. Then when confronted they tried to say that permits were not needed even though the city assured me that that was not correct. And confronting them was another issue all together. No one knows what is going on from the top on down. Poor communication and dishonest business practices are their staple. Don’t let these guys take advantage of another person.

DWe live in a townhouse and after seeing our porch bricks and adjoined main wall bricks pull away more and more over a 3 year span of living there we decided to take action. JES came highly recommended as a foundation company and we hoped they would do proper inspections to see if this was in fact a foundation issue or they would give us proper expertise in what the problem would be. The salesperson came out and from the second he walked up he used a scare tactic to make his goal clear that this was a foundation repair which worked well into getting us to buy it. He kept reiterating that this is such a huge problem and that we called just in time and all the right terms. No tests or measurements (investigation into actual issues) or "engineering takeoffs" taken to determine that it was actually a foundation issue. We took his word as the professional and went with their reputation in doing the right thing. Months later they came out for 3 days and installed the piers and were never heard of again. Not a single follow up during, or after the work and not even to let us know the work was done. the permit was left on the door and I was left wondering for a long time if someone would call, inspection. I had asked for pictures of the work and those were obviously not provided either. The day after the work was done our basement flooded with water and piles of dirt. Our main drain line was along that wall and their work had infiltrated the drain and caused a back up. I called twice to inform of this and possibly get a follow up on the work at same time and both times I was told that the production manager would call me back which never happened to this date. Months later now that we are having the brick wall re-built by another exterior company as what we thought would be the cosmetic portion of work, we find out that the JES foundation repair was not necessary at all. Our porch was built improperly and without proper support directly under the surface so it was hollow and the 4" blocks that were used to hold up the bricks were simply pushing out. without a separation to the main house, this caused the bricks from the main house to also pull away as well. Part of the selling of the job was for them to attempt to pull the wall back with these long screws which they basically put into a hollow wall for no reason and should have been noted but as with everything else they did it was just for show. So basically in the end we paid a lot of money for a big foundation project that is now deemed unnecessary and misdiagnosed and were simply scared into it, our basement was flooded as a result of it and now we still have to fix the issue that was at hand. All this and not a single follow up phone call to date. No response to the issues noted. This may be the single worst experience I have had a with company that prides itself on providing a very specific line of work especially at the price tag and importance that it poses.
