  My gutters needed a deep cleaning, and the rear gutter was partially detached from the house. Toro Roofing was incredibly quick and responsive, and showed up right on time; the gutter had detached due to rotten wood underneath. They replaced the rotten wood, wrapped it in aluminum to prevent future moisture damage, and cleaned everything out. We've gotten through a few rainstorms now without any of the water pooling or spillover that we always used to get in that problem area.

  Very pleased with the services performed and the rate. Due to company's busy schedule, we had to wait longer than we wanted to for the services to be performed, but we were told in advance about this and we were willing to wait based upon the estimate given. Due to weather conditions, the work was delayed, so it took longer than anticipated for services to be performed, but we were pleased with the work and would hire again.

  Originally scheduled for mid December the company was able to fit me in this week due to a cancellation. Howard Shires arrived on time and got right to work. He was very professional and answered all my questions regarding the state of my gutters. Before and after pics were very helpful which I have attached. I will use their services in the future and would definitely recommend them.

  Capitol Improvements

  We hired Capitol Improvements to install a new roof and gutters on our house. The price was significantly less than the major companies (the cost of roof and gutters was less than what just a roof would be at other companies) and I was so pleased with Mitch's care level for what we needed. We had figured it would be about a month before our roof was installed, and then gutters many weeks after, but we had both done in about 2 weeks after signing the contract. They were able to do our roofing in one day and our gutters another day--didn't need us to be home. Mitch explained pricing and what we were getting, didn't hard sell, and was able to meet us at convenient times of the day. Any additional projects I need in the future, I am definitely calling this company!

  Unicorp Home Energy Services

  We reached out to Unicorp for a quote on windows. When David came out for the quote, I doubled-down and asked for a quote on roofing, trim and gutters as well. He spent plenty of time with us, discussed our options, time frames, color choices/recommendations and realistic expectations for the job. After meeting with David, we felt confident that Unicorp would meet our needs. We signed a contract for everything - windows, roofing, trim and gutters. The roof was the first be installed. Tear off and install happened over 2 days. The crew was early and courteous. They did a wonderful job! There was actually one young man who spent a TON of time walking around just looking for nails. They even used a magnet bar to help look for nails in the landscaping. In fact, since they were here, we've only found 3-4 nails. The roof looks AMAZING, and the work was done efficiently and neatly! They even added in a ridge vent that was non-existent before, and ensured that everything was exactly how we wanted it. Roof was installed 3-4 weeks after contract, which was the time quoted at time of signing contract. Next to go was the trim (which lasted 2 days), then followed by gutters the next day. The trim - wow, wow, wow...next to the new color of the roof? ...wow, wow, wow... We went from an ugly reddish brown to black roof with white trim and bronze colored gutters. Classically beautiful to completely renovate and update our home - which was previously fairly monochromatic - red brown roof, brown gutters, brown windows and brick...ugh. Trim and gutter guys were in and out and I could see the project coming to fruition! Trim and gutters went on the week after the roof. The last stage of the process was the windows. I thought I was impressed up to this part...but the windows...oh, the windows. OH THE WINDOWS!!!!!!!!! Holy gorgeous windows!! We can't stop looking at/through them! So well made. So nice. We signed up for the casements, and the are just fantastic. The hardware is nice, the handles fold in, and the opening slides smoothly. They actually had a window install cancellation, so we got these in the week after the trim and gutters. Install happened in one day. No mess was left, the installers were courteous and professional and I came home to amazingly beautiful windows. Of import, I can and did notice a huge difference immediately in the air movement in the home , or lack thereof as it was. I also have noticed that the home feels tighter, and there is no doubt they will be substantially more energy efficient than what we had! I didn't keep exact dates, but I believe full performance on the contract occurred between 6-7 weeks of contract. We could not be any happier! Working with Unicorp was by far the most enjoyable contracting experience we have ever had. This is THE company to hire.

  Chuck and Howard came out right on time. It being an old Victorian, they had very high, steeply sloping roofs to deal with, but they managed just fine. What I appreciated was that they didn't just look at the gutters, clean out a couple sticks, then charge me and leave.Instead, they took a very thorough look at not only the gutters, but at the roof as well to see if there were any larger issues that might have been causing the gutter problems. Both Chuck and Howard were thorough, professional, and helpful. They thought through options of what work needed to be done without trying to push any particular option.

  Unicorp Home Energy Services

  We were very pleased with the work performed by UNICORP. Brian and Dave addressed our concerns about keeping the architectural details of a house built in 1940. And they gave us suggestions that improved the functioning of the gutters and improved the overall curb appeal of our house. The quality of the materials (love the windows), the professionalism of the workmen, and the attention to detail was first rate. In the end a great job is determined by the details and UNICORP saw that all the details down to fitting the molding over our rounded door front were done to our satisfaction. As I mentioned to UNICORP, it is so nice to walk up our front walk and look up and everything looks perfect. We also appreciated that Brian, Dave, or JR were frequently onsite to check on the progress of the work and to provide guidance, if needed, to the workmen. And as with any project, especially when the house is older, there were some unexpected complications that UNICORP took in stride and resolved quickly and with our input.
