    The Movement Clinic
I met Jutta at a Feldenkrais workshop in October 2015. I found the 3-hour workshop to be very informative and restorative. I decided to meet with Jutta at her office, several times a week. She was able to help me visualize how my spine works in relationship to the rest of my body. Jutta helped me correct my posture and relearn how to move properly. She has a gentle touch and is able to clearly communicate what she is doing. I lived in constant pain for so many months, and had so many months of sleepless nights. I always felt relaxed, and reassured after my sessions at the Movement Clinic with Jutta.

I will continue to meet with her for "tune-up" sessions, and I continue to practice everything that she taught me about Feldenkrais. I cannot recommend Jutta enough. My recovery has taken a long time, but I know that because of Feldenkrais and Jutta's instruction, I am now able to walk pain-free!

    Terrapin Chiropractic
I was in a car accident two years ago. As a result of the person slamming into my car, my neck and lower back were injured. I went to Dr. Kraus immediately. He took X-rays which showed that both my neck and back were out of adjustment. He worked with me for many months until I had to stop in order to take care of my family member's illness. One time when I came home from vacation, I was in excruciating pain--and was about to leave almost immediately for a business trip. I called Dr. Kraus and he came into the office in order to give me a chiropractic adjustment. As a result of that, I was able to go on the trip--which involved long hours of driving and conduct the business as planned.
I continue to return to Dr. Kraus and get adjustments and stretching treatments whenever my time permits. My neck and back will never be completely the way they were before the accident, but Dr. Kraus' treatment, along with the stretching treatments and massage provided by his coworkers, enables me to live with little residual pain most of the time. Thank you Dr. Kraus!

    Orthopaedic Associates of Central Maryland
Id' been having intermittent shoulder pain for several weeks, which got much worse after an active weekend. I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Kinnard at Orthopaedic Associates of Central Maryland in Columbia, MD almost immediately. After an examination, he treated the pain with an anti-inflammatory shot, and prescribed physical therapy to stretch and strengthen the shoulder. There's a PT clinic attached to the doctor's office in Columbia, which was very convenient. I was able to get PT sessions scheduled that week to start my therapy. I was especially pleased that there was NO pressure to continue the PT indefinitely (which has happened to me in the past at other clinics), but they determined the probable length of therapy needed at the beginning, and checked on my progress throughout that period to be sure I was on track. Very professional and pleasant clinic and therapists.

Massage Envy Spa - College Park

If you sign up for a membership and you go to the same location time and time again, you will check in for your appointment, they will offer you a glass of water and let you sit in the their tranquility room until your therapists comes out to meet you.  Usually you will discuss if there is any area that you would like them to focus on during your treatment.  They will let you change and then come back for the treatment.  The treatment should last 50 minutes, with 5 minutes on either side for changing.  You can leave your tip directly with your therapist in the form of cash, or add it to your credit card when you check out.

I am quite particular about massage therapists. One wrong adjustment or push and I can be in real pain for days or weeks. I received a gift certificate to Massage Envy which is located right up the street from me. I was hesitant to go, since they are a chain, but I was presently surprised. I arrived a few minutes early and the massage therapist was ready and waiting. She made small talk while we were getting set up. She asked about any areas that needed focused and if I had any injuries. After a few more background questions she started. I felt great after the massage. My one complaint is that there was no stretching or adjustments during the massage. She was able to get all the knots out. but a pull her and there would have been nice.

Massage Envy Spa - College Park
We had a very positive experience with them.  She wasn?t thoroughly happy with the service she had yesterday, but overall she has been happy.  The therapist didn?t give her the massage of the feet and hands that she was hoping for.  She came back complaining that the therapist basically didn?t listen to her needs, but that was the first negative experience she has had.

Massage Envy Spa - College Park
My wife and I have been going to massage therapy in College Park for almost a year.  The office is very clean and the staff is always very polite.  When we arrive we check in with the receptionist and then sit and relax in the tranquility room.  This is a small room with comfortable chairs where you can take a few moments and clear your mind from a busy day and wait for your therapist. There is a television playing a DVD with very soothing spa music and a water cooler to drink some water if you need it.   Our therapists will then greet us in the tranquility room and escort us to the massage room.  We usually request the couples room.   Before the massage our therapists ask if we have any trouble spots or if anything has changed since our last massage. The session lasts an hour and is a full body massage.  You can request deep pressure or light pressure.  If you like deep pressure, make sure you request that when you make a reservation since not all therapists do deep pressure.  After the massage and you get dressed, the therapists greet us with a cup of water and ask us how the massage went. Overall we have had a very pleasant experience at Massage Envy.  The therapists are always on time and we never have to wait long.  We purchased a membership which entitles you to 1 massage per month and discounts on other services.  It is worth it.  We can't wait until our next appointment.

While there have been some ups and downs, we have been very happy, overall, with the quality of the care given to our daughter. They have and follow lesson plans. They follow the Montessori method, which works very well for our independent-minded daughter. The facility is racially integrated with an excellent mix of races. The teachers are caring and competent. The grounds are kept in excellent shape. If we were not moving out of state, we would be continuing with this care provider. I would recommend this center to anyone living in the area.

Massage Envy Spa - College Park
The office is very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. There is a "serenity room" that has a television playing nature scenes. I thought it was corny at first, but it actually was very relaxing. The individual massage rooms were dimly lit and cozy with soothing music and heated tables. This was the first time I've had a massage and I was a little apprehensive about the experience. The therapist that I saw was was very professional, only exposing the parts of my body that she was tending to at the time and making sure that I was otherwise covered. I felt very comfortable. The hour was up before I knew it. I enjoyed it so much that I signed up to get massages every month.

They are very flexible and nice. I have been to two different people and they were both very good. I had a problem with my credit card, so they called me and I said I could pay cash, but they said not to worry about it and that they would try it again in a few days. They are terrific.
