John, my tech, cleaned everything out everything down to the studs and left everything neat, white and ready for plumbing repair. He also cleaned out a long term low-grade problem in the basement, common for old houses like ours. For the first time in years the vague, musty smell has gone. AMoldGone LLCJon, Jason, and the rest of the team at MoldGone are true professionals, and I wholeheartedly recommend them for mold remediation service. We had recently purchased a historic townhome in the Logan Circle neighborhood of DC which we knew to have significant mold issues. However, aside from a very obvious source in the sub-basement, we were not certain if/where other sources of mold growth were present in the home. Jon was very thorough on his initial visit, and used a moisture meter along with a keen eye to locate potential areas of mold growth behind drywall that another company's estimate had ignored. Mold was indeed present in these areas, and we were glad to both have it treated, and to receive feedback-about/remediation-of the underlying sources of the moisture that lead to the growth in the first place. Air quality post-testing revealed a job very well done, and to boot Jon graciously even offered to return in the spring to do a second follow-up test at no additional charge because of weather conditions on the day of testing. Beyond the high quality of the work, the team was a pleasure to work with: kind, patient, responsive, and available by both cellphone, text, and email. ARTS Environmental ServicesI hired RTS Environmental as I was purchasing a home due to a home inspector suspecting the presence of mold within the walls of the home's basement. RTS was recommended to me by my Realtor, and I was not disappointed. I needed to coordinate with Paul prior to the inspection due to constraints placed on us by the sellers on the type and scope of the initial mold inspection, which Paul assured me could be done in a non-invasive manner. Alex showed up to perform the inspection and very quickly determined the presence of mold, both visually and through technical means. Within a couple of days following the inspection, Alex sent me a quote for a scope of work RTS expected to perform. I agreed to the work and scheduled RTS to begin the work on the day I closed on the house. The work RTS performed was extensive, but Alex kept me informed every step of the way. The crew that performed the work — Jesus, Ansony, and others — did a remarkable job, using high-quality materials, and ensuring the dust and debris from the remediation and remodeling did not enter other parts of the house. They sealed all the vents as well as entrance from the basement with plastic, and used a negative-pressure HEPA filter to direct air from the worksite outside the house. The work took approximately ten days to complete, but once RTS finished I was very happy with their work, and I rest assured that, not only has all the mold and mold damage been removed, but also that the mold will not return due to their exceptional cleaning process and choice of anti-mold materials they used for the remediation. I'd like to point out that RTS was always very communicative, and Alex frequently stopped by to check on progress and to gauge my satisfaction. Dealing with the mold infestation was a stressful time, and RTS did their best to ensure I was comfortable and satisfied before, during, and after the work.- Joshua N.

ARTS Environmental ServicesI was told by an experienced realtor not to contact anyone else besides RTS Environmental Services, and I'm really glad I followed their advice! Initially I had them evaluate a chronic water-damaged area in the basement which resulted in some mold/mildew. Another service had already given me a rather large estimate for repair and clean up. Alex thoughtfully discussed options, made recommendations, and explained why the more extensive work proposed by the other company wasn't really necessary. The work was done quickly and well, and at a much better cost, although the quality of the work was my primary concern. As someone who used to work in the building trades, I was very impressed with the depth of knowledge, integrity, and high quality work. It's a relief to find an honest company which does such high caliber work. This is the company you need for any mold or air quality issues, I can't recommend them highly enough. AAA+++- Sha D.

AAmazing. 2 months after my husband and I moved into our home a massive mold problem in the improperly finished basement showed itself after the previous owners failed to disclose the issue and tried masking it with a fresh paint job. David's inspection of our basement and his remediation process were the most thorough of all of the companies I had contacted and left me with the best peace of mind. David, his office staff, and his team that completed the project were all incredibly friendly, helpful, timely, communicated any delays are hiccups and tolerated my 9000 questions. 2 years later I reached out to the company for recommendations of waterproofing and basement repair companies and David took the time to call me back discuss options, provide recommendations and answer any questions I had. Though I hope to never have another mold issue I would definitely hire Valor again and recommend them to anyone.

AI had the unfortunate experience of a major roof leak which caused extensive interior damage to my attic space and insulation as well as the master bedroom ceiling drywall. All during the rainiest winter in many years and I was at a loss as to how to proceed with repairing the interior water damage, especially with the holidays (and more rain!) fast approaching. Thankfully, MD Flood Restoration came out the day my roof was repaired and began the water remediation and mold removal the same night! I would highly recommend this company for any of your water remediation needs! MD Flood Restoration is responsive, efficient, thorough, and above all else, they go above and beyond to ease the homeowner's worries about the process, taking time to explain the technical aspects of the repairs in a way that was easy to understand, review how the insurance process works, and provide detailed insight and estimated pricing for the repair services. The night they arrived onsite, the crew quickly removed all damaged materials and set up a clean and efficient workspace for the drying fans to run for several days, taking extra care to ensure none of my personal belongings were damaged.
