AJW Home ImprovementJosh came to provide an appraisal and he quickly understood what needed to be done and provided a solution. Jose came out quickly and widened the opening so we could get our furnace serviced and our heat turned on. Jose returned and within 4 hours had the electrical outlet moved, new framing complete and painted, floor tile replaced, and new doors installed. I am very impressed with the service provided by JW and will contact them again for any needed repairs.- Debbie W.

The estimate had to be revised because the trim on my 40 year-old house couldn't be replicated in terms of color. I received a prompt re-estimate, accepted the very reasonable price, and the work was completed quickly. I couldn't be happier with the work product. RM Banning is just a fine organization to work with. Three years prior, RM Banning replaced my entire roof, and did quality work then. AHarriss roofers did a great job, worked promptly and completed the job in a short time frame. They had to undo and replace the shoddy work done by another contractor who gave me months of delays and aggravation for poor workmanship. The job was covered by insurance but the Harriss price was less than that of the first contractor who did the shoddy work and Harriss used much better quality materials. I would definitely recommend Harriss roofers.

AWorking with Javier helps to understand how the insurance coverage works. This was not something I could have done on my own. Javier acted almost like an insurance attorney providing invaluable advice. So, the moral of the story is that you need Javier to guide you through your coverage. However, this does not mean that you leave everything to Javier and sit in the corner. You have to understand what is covered and what is not and be ready to supplement your extras out of your pocket to realize your own expectations. The paintwork is a good example; the insurance won't pay the Benjamin Moore paint, and what they pay for doesn’t do much beauty. Then you have to follow up and make sure you pay the extra for what you really want. This works with everything; if you work with Javier on your budget, you will need to take his lead with the third-party contractors. The other deceptive element of insurance is the timing; if you depend on the money coming from the insurance, the process takes forever. The insurance reinstallation is a business model, a system, and there is no logic to it. When supplemental requests are involved, the insurance pays $1000 to accommodation instead of instantly approving a $500 supplemental. The process is very frustrating, and people get frustrated; however, Javier NEVER says NO. Whatever you want, he finds a way to deliver. He did the re-paint job for free with the paint of my choice. I was unhappy with some installations. He immediately got them fixed. One other thing is that Javier never bothered me with payment timing. He was pretty flexible. He did not even call for follow-up. I read the negative reviews on the website, and I realized I had most of them myself, BUT the point is Javier is not the reason. Construction work is an expensive open-ended process; the products we usually get are not top-notch Armani Case; they are what insurance covers and the process is frustratingly time-consuming unless you pay up-front and ready to pay for extras. So the frustration-cause is not Javier; it is the difference between what it is and what we want to be. Javier worked on my place for several months; his team is reliable, honest, and trustable.

AI called this store in Chantily VA since the sister store where I originally bought the table (in Finksburg MD) went out of business. The incredibly nice person I spoke with understood my concern asked me to provide pictures via email. Subsequently the staff of this store forwarded the request to their manufacturer in NC who in turn Fed Ex the replacement leg to me. I had informed the original person I had a neighbor willing to do the work to install the corrected leg so as soon as the product arrived he did the work. The replacement leg is perfect, beautiful, & has been sturdy, safe & great. All of this occurred within about a week. I have been incredibly impressed with the professionalism & this business standing by their product!!! They are a definite example of what a wonderful business should be like!

ARRR did a high-end hall bath remodel in Sep 2020 for approximately $24000. Homeowners did the basic design and material selection. RRR suggested construction and material mods, as needed, and ordered all material. Cost was clearly detailed up front, paid on draw, and was met by completion date. All stage work and inspections were completed on schedule, over approximately three weeks. Crew was always on time and worked full days, while Ryan checked in twice a week. All rough-in and finish work was neat and well crafted, including studding, plumbing, electrical, wall and floor tile, and vanity top and basin, and painting. There was some struggle with heavy shower doors assembly and clean install. All punchlist items were complete with no issues. Enjoyed interaction with Ryan and his crew. Very happy with results. Competitive pricing. Would highly recommend.
