Septic Tank Cleaning reviews in Clarksburg

I had called another company to come out and clean my septic tank a year prior to King & Sons coming out. They came out and cleaned the tank and then told me what I needed to do to make our septic tank function properly. Gave me a price and then never came out. I called them and they did not even remember me as a customer. I was referred by my plumber to call King and Sons. I spoke with Barbra Ann. She got me scheduled in a timely manor to come out and pump the septic tank and to do a consult on what was needed to repair my septic tank. They came out pumped out the septic tank, told me what I needed to repair the system, gave me a verbal price that seemed fair for the work. They came back out a few days later and preformed the repair work. They dug up my front yard and put it back just as they found it. The price was just what they quoted. They will be coming back out regularly to preform maintenance.

Dealing with Fogle's has been an absolutely horrible experience. I recently purchased a house with a brand new septic system that Fogle's had put in. Within six weeks of owning the house we realized only a quarter of the homes plumbing was connected to the new septic. The rest was connected to an illegal gray water system. In addition to this, when doing work, Fogle's crushed an exterior pipe for a storm water drain which caused our basement to flood. Fogle's refused to fix the crushed pipe, and refused to take responsibility for installing a septic that does not service the majority of the house. The home is older and was on a cesspool. Both of these should have been red flags that a gray water system existed. In addition, the ladies in the office are extremely rude. I have never been yelled at as a customer until now. The owner is unhelpful and refused to speak to me politely. All of these repairs are costing me upwards of $10,000. If you want to be spoken to rudely, and want the minimal amount of acceptable work done, call Fogle's. Otherwise call another company.

He was really outstanding. He came out and did the work. They went out of their way and they were helpful. He went really beyond just pumping out the septic tank. We obtained a thing from Frederick County where the septic tank was to make sure I did not have double tanks or something like that. He just was not sure. He did not believe where the tank was. He wanted to make sure. He just went above and beyond. He came out one day on his own to just double check things. He was extraordinary. I found him on Angie’s list and I chose him because of the written reviews. The reviews were very powerful for him and the price was good. Everything stood out very good. I was actually going around and hand his name out to some of my neighbors. He had his son with him; I believe it was his son.

Called several different companies and left voice mail messages for a request for cost and schedule. R&E was the first to return my call and managed to fit me in for the next day. They arrived on time and provided great service. I appreciated their evaluation of my old septic system and suggested several options for improvement without the typical "hard sell" tactics of the other companies I have used in the past. Overall I highly recommend R&E.

I got my septic cleaned/flushed by another company about 3 years ago. This other company did a great job but I thought I would price shop a bit before committing. I called John Seek Septic for 2-3 days (about 3-4 times/day) and could NEVER get in touch with anyone. The phone would just ring and ring and sometimes an answering machine would pick up. As a consumer, it's frustrating when a company does a poor job, are rude, unprofessional, etc. It's almost just as frustrating when I'm trying to give my business to a company and no one can even answer the phone. Obviously, I'm not going to use John Seek's services but I probably dodged a bullet. I don't want to do business with a company I can't get in contact with during normal business hours.

Overall, we were pleased with the services provided by this company. Our initial contact was a little slow getting off the ground, but once scheduled, everything went very smoothly. The company representative who scheduled our appointment also provided us with contact information for the county to obtain the map of exactly where to locate our drain field and septic tank and cover. We scheduled the initial appointment to locate, dig down to the tank and install an above ground cover for our septic tank and then had the tank itself pumped out. This had not been done in several years and so it was challenging to get the tank emptied. The service technician emptied as much as possible then left us with advice for future treatments, etc., and a recommendation for a re-pump. We recently contacted them to perform a follow up service which was scheduled in a very timely manner. We would recommend this company to others needing this important service.
