    LFC Services Home Repair Division
Excellent. On time and professional, quickly responded every time I contacted LFC Services. Treated my home with respect, even placed a cover over my floors so not to drag in dirt. I have scheduled future work for my basement. No job too small for this company.

    Luckel Contracting
Great work. They found other issues when repairing walls to paint and fixed everything to where you cant see any holes or ruff spots. Painting is outstanding and they refused to charge extra even though we took down bathroom cabinets and moldings that were glued to the walls creating a lot of patching. One paint we brought for a bathroom was not mixed properly at Sherwin Williams and would not go on right. They put two coats on before they called and went back over everything with another color at no charge. They even had a cleaning company come in when they were done to clean up all the dust. I would highly recommend them.Best way to communicate with them is through Angie's list.

    Luckel Contracting
This was a truly great experience from beginning to completion. Mr. Luckel came to my home on a Sunday morning that worked best with my schedule. He did a complete walkthrough of my newly purchased home (the whole house needs repainting). He was very understanding that I would need to break up the periods of work based on my budget. On the first day he arrived on time with his team and got to work immediately. When I came home that evening I was amazed at how much they were able to accomplish. Also, I expected to come home to drop cloths everywhere knowing that the job would take at least one more day, but to my surprise, everything was clean! They completed the first phase of my project on the second day. The quality of work was incredible! They managed to correct all of the flaws from a previous paint job, and my house was left clean. A true professional in every sense of the word. Experienced, reliable, and courteous! I can't wait to hire them for the second phase!!

    THOMPSTON MANAGEMENT, LLC
I was on a tight budget and after contacting quite a few places, Thompston management had one of the more competitive prices.  But it was a struggle to even get that started.  I initially got a wrong estimate, had to get a 2nd estimate done.  I had to contact them multiple times to get a separate estimate for the storm doors.  Took quite a few messages and several WEEKS  to finally get through that.
I had explained that I was in an unusual situation, that was quite stressful.  I had just moved, had significant plumbing issues, which is why I needed the new floors.  Black water on the carpet, so that had to be ripped out and replaced.
About 3 weeks go by, while I was getting the new flooring delivered etc.  And I get an email asking if I signed the contract, which I had not received.  So I stated I never got any contract, please resend... and if possible just shoot me an email when it is sent so I can be sure that I don't miss it.   I did give a payment of 1/3 of the total cost of the estimate I received.
Finally the install date comes, approximately 4 weeks after my initial contact.  The worker shows up by himself, it was supposed to be a 2 person job.  And he showed up late, and he seemed flustered.  He started doing basic prep work by removing baseboards, (I removed the carpeting myself, to speed things up and save money), started to lay down vapor barrier, worked for all of an hour or 2 and he comes upstairs to tell me that he has to leave.  I of course wonder why, he says that Thompston management just fired him, and that he is sick of how they treat him and he has to leave right now to meet with a lawyer about it.
Imagine my frustration after months of hardship (prior to my contact with Thompston management), then 4 long weeks trying to get working with them, and now this!  I just needed this space finished.  I call to find out what on earth is going on, I am being told that he was never to be there at all, that they had fired him the day before.  That they didn't know he was showing up at all.  Which doesn't even make sense, because if he truly was fired the day before and was no longer coming then why did NO one contact me to tell me that things are not going to be installed on the agreed DATE.  They didn't send anyone else, or reschedule me, so I guess they were going to just leave me high and dry?
I was then told that someone else can come out, and they will have to come see the space and understand the job and basically everything is now delayed by another week or two.  Since this other person is already on another job they can't juts switch to my job right away.
At which point I asked to just get my money back, so I can find someone else.  I was then given a hard time and an attitude about how contractually they don't have too, that they have spent time on my project (helping moving the flooring into the house which took 30 minutes and the actual time to work the estimate I guess)..... which technically there is NO contract because despite multiple times me saying I didn't get it and to let me know when it is sent she never did.  Eventually she was nice enough to give me like 90% of my money back.  Which leaves a bad taste in my mouth but I wanted to be done with it.
Also, as I stated earlier I had an unusual situation.  The other thing that really bothered me is I was upfront and honest about my situation from day 1.  I had to ask for special arrangements, like the job had to be done in multiple days, instead of just one day so that I could re-arrange spaces for them to work.  This was all known and agreed too, yet I got an email complaining to me about my situation and lecturing me about how I had to move things before work could be done.  Which I had already made clear I NEEDED to do and I needed them to give me the time to do it, hence I needed the work done in multiple days.  It was downright insulting, and rude.. and very insensitive, when this was something that I couldn't help... something that had been sprung upon me and I was dealing with it the best that I could.  (and again they knew all the details of how this situation happened, why I was in the situation.... everything so that they would be understanding.... or I had hoped they would be)
My other HUGE complaint and the reason I decided to leave this review is that the worker that came and worked in my house for 1-2 hours..... that was fired... turns out he had a serious criminal record.  An entire page of charges of criminal history ranging from assault, to breaking and entering and now this guy knows my house inside and out by evaluating, and working in it.  I really don't want anyone else to take a chance with these guys because the workers they use are dangerous. At least that was my experience.  This was so unsettling to me, to know a criminal with that history was IN my house on multiple occasions (carrying flooring on one day then the day of install).

    John Krause Construction
John's office responded quickly after I requested an estimate through Angie's list.  Dawn scheduled an appointment the next week with John, he came on time and quickly determined what needed to be done; he gave me an estimate, and said he had a crew in the area on another job and they would come that afternoon and do the job.  While the two man crew did arrive a few hours late, they were working outside on ladders when I returned from an errand and had the job mostly completed.  They were thorough, cleared up any debris, and were very apologetic for not calling to say they would be later than expected.  Since the work was outside, it was not a problem.  They were polite and I look forward to using this company again.

    M.A.K. Construction Services
The provider arrived on the appointed day and time. He was very thorough and professional. However, while the 3-d rendering and costs were promised to be sent to us in 3 days, it took the provider 3 weeks to get them to us.  Not a good first impression.  Also, the 3-d rendering did not accurately reflect the layout as we understood it at the time of the consultation.  A new island was supposed to include a two-tiered breakfast bar.  The rendering did not reflect this and we were left not knowing if the plan would support the bar as discussed.
Additionally, it was somewhat alerting to us that the provider was insistent on using a particular company for cabinets.

    M.A.K. Construction Services
They came out exactly when they said they would, diagnosed the problem and discussed the options to fix it.  We decided on a path forward and they went out and got all the materials right away and made the necessary repairs.  All in the same day.  I was very pleased with the quality of the work performed and the knowledge of the technician they sent.  I would definitely recommend and use again.

    M.A.K. Construction Services
It was good.  The man came and got a lot accomplished while he was there.  They don’t usually service my area and I don’t know if this was a one-time thing or what the circumstances were.

    K&R RoofMasters, Inc.
In 2009 k&r roofmasters responded to our call concerning a leaking roof. They coverd the leak immediately and later replace our roof. Our overall experience with K&R was great. They were prompt, proffesional and left no mess.

Fixall Home Repairs & Improvement Service
The quality of work is excellent as well as the professionalism.  Scheduling issues were worked out.  The work was performed as agreed upon in the contract and Fixall kept us in the loop for various work specific details that arose that needed our input.

The price was competitive and we plan on using Fixall again in the future.
