  • One of my cats, *****, hurt her foot in Feb., perhaps by stepping on a needle. She hit an artery deep in her foot, and a ½ round bump formed on her foot, with blood under it. She had to wear a cone to protect it, and if we took the cone off even to let her bathe, she would bite it and bleed all over the house. Or, just walking would cause bleeding. Or, she would escape from the cone. Our "regular" vet, Dunloggin, wouldn't touch the bump and sent us to a specialty vet surgeon (for $150), and otherwise just told us to keep the cone on, and boarded the cat while we were out of town for a few days (for about $350--so, basically $425 for doing NOTHING). After 6 weeks, I said, this bump HAS to come off--she can't live the rest of her life with a cone on her head. The Dunloggin vet said he couldn't fit her in for surgery for another 4 weeks! I started looking at reviews and asking around, and found Dunloggin. From the first phone call, they were wonderful. I brought the cat in that afternoon to have blood drawn to see if she was safe to have surgery. The vet diagnosed an ear infection from so much time in the cone, and said her gums were bleeding and her teeth needed a cleaning (two had to be removed). So, our poor baby was in a LOT of pain, and we didn't know it! She suggested treating the infection, cleaning the teeth, and fixing and biopsying the bump at the same time. Total cost was, I think, $750 for all of that, which included pain meds afterward and having her stitches removed. The bump turned out to be a rare cancer (cutaneous hemangiosarcoma), which we caught very early (but not as early as if Dunloggin had done the surgery!). We were so happy with the care ***** received that we brought our other cat, Asia, in to have her teeth cleaned (she needed one removed). I would highly recommend Countryside.

  • We've been using them for years & years & years.  I can not say enough nice things about Advanced.  The owner, Dr. Benson, he is wonderful.  Wonderful! Wonderful! What a great guy.  He's so fast.  He can have it done while we're thinking about getting ready to clip their nails.  They don't even know what hit them.  They don't protest because he's so fast that our male cat doesn't even know what's happened to him.  He's a really experienced vet.  He's got a farm and he's got a ton of animals of his own.  It's clear that he loves cats & loves dogs.  He raises horses. I think he runs some cattle.  He's got a ton of rescue dogs and cats running around his farm.  He's just an all around great guy.  He get's AAA's.  Not just A's.  He gets 5 stars.  I will use him until he stops practicing.  I hope that won't be any time soon.  The cost is incredibly cheap.  He is such a kind person.  These were feral cats that somebody dumped in our driveway and we took them in.  The cost is way cheaper than anywhere else you could go.

  • Basically she was in a clinical trial and we wen through the clinical trials, she is getting her shots every week for arthritis I was told once you completed the trial I was going to get this email from the company that pass the drugs and they were going to ask me how was she doing and everything. I never got any emails and also the company was going to supply me with a years worth of this medication to help the dog with arthritis I never got that in the mean time I ran out of heart worm medicine and I went to 1-800petmeds to get the medication and when 1-800petmeds came back and said well we contacted paradise but they said that the dog was due for a heart worm test so I called paradise and I said why didn't you send me a card and they said well they had no answer for that and I said well in the mean time the dog was developing incompetent problem and I sad can I get in to see certain vet and they said no she is not be her until June are whatever and I said fine and then i found out that not only the dog was late on her heart worm medication they also through all these visits there didn't know that the dog was pass due on her on her distemper and I said forget I have had it

  • We have used Love Those Paws on two occasions now, and I can highly recommend them with extreme confidence.  On both occasions we were out of town on vacation, and wanted a professional pet sitting company, so that our pets could have the comfort of staying at home in familiar surroundings.
Stewart and Annette are very professional and a pleasure to deal with.  The first time we used them Stewart visited our home to meet the pets and become familiar with their surroundings, and he described in detail what he and his staff would do.  Our pets are on medication, and I wanted them to be aware of what and when to administer, and they were terrific about that.
Upon our return from both vacations, I had stack of service visit summaries to read through - the provider took the time and effort to write a paragraph summary of how each separate visit during the week went - very thoughtful and I found it interesting to read!
I will definitely use them again in the future, and encourage others to reach out to them with confidence.

  • .Wonderful!  We have a standing monthly appointment and can slide in anytime we need a mid month nail trim, there is a fee, but well worth it to me because they won't let me trim there nails.  We have been using them since they opened...we followed them from a previous location. These are the first and only groomers my pups have known.  They are also very considerate of my time schedule.  My pups are happy and fresh when I pick them up...and take me right to the treat basket before we leave.

  • .Great!  They were my first experience boarding my dogs.  I used them based on a reference from a neighbor, even though it was quite a distance.  The deal was sealed the first time I picked them up and they were the "Same" pups I had left with them.  Dog owners know what I mean when I say there was no change in body language, facial expression, and mostly the look in their eyes. I am sure they do more for my pups then what is listed above because we use them several times a year and they come home happy every time.   The staff is also the best, from helping you schedule under normal and emergency situations, check ins and check outs, and help with any information needed.   They are the only one I use!

  • We have been using Jade Von Hawley services since May 2014 on a regular basis (every 5 weeks).  Jade is extremely knowledgeable about proper grooming, dog behavior and nutrition.  She made time for us at no cost when we first acquired our dog to discuss his grooming needs and allergies.  With him being a rescue we were not sure just what his issues may entail.
Jade does an excellent job and our Duffy is always happy to go see Jade.  We didn't find this to be so with our prior terrier at his grooming places.
I can't recommend Jade highly enough and would like to nominate Puttin' on the Dog for a 2015 Super Service Award.

  • Pat gave kitties quality play time, litter clean-up, food preparation and clean-up. Again, one of our kitties has special needs and sometimes requires extra clean-up around the litter pan - Pat kept all litter pans fresh and sanitary.  Pat was also kind enough to send us text messages each day - sometimes with pictures to let us know how everyone was doing!  This is so comforting especially when traveling for a long time and/or out of the country.  We actually got stuck at the airport towards the end of our travels and were so thankful Pat was there and able to extend her care for a few days when we couldn't get home. Excellent customer service - kitty-centered support! Pat's rates are very reasonable for the amount of service, reliability and total quality of care!

  • Andrew and his team (John and Amber) are awesome.  I cannot say enough wonderful things about them.  First and most important - they all obviously love dogs. They even loved my dog, who is lovable, but had some very specific issues. He's an 18 month old, 70 lb., bulldog mix.  He's strong and was a puller on the leash.  He was also becoming a little territorial and would get rough with us and the other dogs when he got excited.  We did the Board and Train program and the training was life-changing! He is so much easier to control!  He learned all the basic commands - sit, down, heel, come, etc., but more importantly, he is just generally more responsive to us.  He jumped over our fence a couple times prior to training and hasn't done that since. Now, when he gets close to the fence, we just call him and he comes running back to us.  When we say "no," he's immediately responsive.  We continue to use the e-collar for walking and we're continuing to work on "heel" and loose leash walking.  He pulls a little, but responds when we correct him.  Prior to the training, we were rarely able to walk him with the other dogs because of the pulling. Now we can walk him with one of the others and enjoy the walk!  He still pulls a little, but when we correct him, he responds.  We're so glad we did the training and will definitely train our dogs with Andrew in the future!

  • I left him for 5 days. I have used for a long time. He cares about the pets, he is not just bring them in and I will shoot them up, and he also remembers the animals. They are always friendly, and get attached to the animals, he always comes back wagging.
