  • I have been there as an in-patient for days, however, I have been for numerous tests and I have always been tested in a professional manner by the staff there.  I have had to wait for my appointments but not for an outrageous amount of time.  Everything was always explained to me as far as what they were going to do to me, how long it would take and what type of effects it would have on me.

    I would recommend going there, especially for heart ailments and cancer treatments; these areas I am very familiar with.

  • I met with Dr. King. She went over the radiologist's report with me. We dicussed the options. We agreed on a procedure, but would wait for the MRI results before finalizing everything.
    Dr. King clearly presented the information to me and answered all my questions. The visit was nice.

  • I have been seeing the doctor for about 6 years. He is an excellent doctor. He pays close attention to detail and is no nonsense. He stays on top of the situation you are dealing with until it is resolved. I really like how well they keep medical records. You can look up your test results online. All of the doctors in the practice are excellent. The office staff is great, very professional and caring. I have had no issues scheduling an appointment for when I need. You may have to wait a few days to be seen and they have a special person to handle scheduling for you.

  • I was able to make an appointment quickly with them once I explained that I had been to the emergency room with severe nose bleeds. Upon arrival, they took me on time. The doctor was definitely a specialist in the field because once he looked in my nose, he quickly saw where the bleeding was coming from and stated how he was going to repair it. Once I was numbed, he cauterized the inside of the nose and gave me specific instructions for the next two weeks .

  • My mother went into the hospital I thought I was going to lose her and when she came out she has a fighting chance. His bedside manners are great. He is a very patient, very caring person and he listens to you. He has an awesome facility. It is nice, clean, friendly. His staff is very friendly.

  • They have a lot of outpatient services. I have been with them for about fifteen years. They give children super-fast priority care. Both of my kids went through pediatrics with them. It is one of the first HMO's to be automated. Everything is right there on the screen in front of the doctor to see from medications to symptoms. If your doctor is not there and another doctor sees you he will know everything about your case. That is very comforting. The doctors are very professional and have good bedside manners. They are knowledgeable. They do a follow up to make sure that the services you received were more than satisfactory.

  • He has very good bedside manner.  He is pretty easy to talk with. I only go to him in the evenings because he is in the clinic during the day. I really don't like the hours but what can I do. It's an average office.

  • There are a couple of pharmacies here who are really on top of it and quick.  When the higher-ups tried to change my prescription, I was called.  They told me that I needed to call my doctor if I wanted to continue having the same prescription.  The doctors who did the blood work were spot on.  They were very good.  As long as you go early, you can be seen.  They will always be able to see you in your window of time.  I miss having more personalized care.  There hasn't been a time when they haven't been able to accommodate a visit.

  • Over thirty years ago, I became a patient of Dr. Wayne Liu in his Greenbelt MD office. Through the years, Dr. Liu has been my physician of choice for episodic allergies. I most recently was a patient of Dr. Liu's in his Temple Hills MD office on March 30th 2010. The Temple Hills medical building is an antediluvian structure located in a high crime area. Dr. Liu's Temple Hills office is meagerly appointed and his cursory examination of my nose took about three minutes. At the conclusion of my office visit, I requested that my script be faxed to my Wal-Mart pharmacist. I was told Dr. Liu's new office policy precluded faxing scripts to pharmacies. Heretofore, I had never encountered a physician?s office that would not fax a script. I was also told that I must pay my bill in full and submit the bill to my health care provider myself. Before leaving, I requested a copy of the bill with CPT code(s). I was told by the office manager, Joanne, a bill would be mailed to me and I was only given a tawdry receipt sans CPT code(s). After patiently waiting two months for the itemized bill, I called Dr. Liu's office. I talked to two staff persons and was left on hold for thirty minutes while trying to get the bill mailed to me. The second person with whom I spoke challenged my request for a copy of the bill. This woman was the most mean-spirited, discourteous, non professional medical staff person with whom I have ever spoken. Regrettably, I failed to get her name. It took three months post office visit to receive the itemized bill. My health care provder has informed me I was overcharged for the office visit. I have called and written a letter requesting a refund of the overpayment. To date, I have not received the refund. I am so dismayed by the lack of professionalism and courteousness that I have decided to no longer be a patient of Dr. Wayne Liu.

  • I have medicare as my primary insurance and a secondary insurance. I was asked about paying a copay, but I explained my insurance process and the fact I was not required to pay a copay. They were not sure of what they were doing. The central office called advising there was a change with Medicare and that they were paying less. I advised them I was not aware of this and they told me I was required to pay a co pay. They asked me for a MC or Visa cc number. They said they would then charge the difference to my cc. This did not sound right to me. I provided the cc number and I was charged. I found later he was wrong and I was not required to pay this amount. It took me six months to receive what I was charged incorrectly. In addition, I later was seen in an Orthopedics office that advised they were no longer working with Cignet due to the problems they have experienced. In other cases when I was receiving charges for follow up visits, I found the charges were very high and was advised by my physician this was Cignet's charges. I feel the way Cignet conducts their business is at best questionable.
