    I used an Angie���s List ���deal��� coupon in order to diagnose and repair a leak in my dishwasher. This company supposedly has an A rating, but I can���t recommend them given my experience. Price - I was charged an excessive amount of $300 to fix my dishwasher. The coupon was $139 and included all labor and 2 separate visits by their techs. The rest of the cost was for parts ($130), taxes, and shipping ($20). I looked up the part later and GE charges $100 for it, so the upmark of 30% combined with the high shipping cost is ridiculous. Quality - My dishwasher is fixed. Had to readjust the dishwasher later since it was not quite seated properly. Responsiveness - The office is very difficult to get a hold of and required multiple calls in order to get through. Calls were not returned. Scheduling a visit was not quick; turnaround time was multiple days and would not be helpful in an emergency situation. Punctuality - The techs showed up during the stated time 3-4 hour window. We were told they would call to confirm, but they just showed up instead. Professionalism - The techs were nice and for the most part seemed to know what they were doing. Asked for receipt both times they charged me for work, however they didn���t provide it. The office eventually sent it over via email.

    Our initial phone call was returned promptly. The problem was explained and Mr. Reddix advised us that it can be easily fixed if he could get the spare parts. He got the parts, called us to set up appointment and 2 days later the dishwasher that has been wobbly for a while was fixed.

    Overall the experience is very positive. It was for out tenants who rent our condo. I called Jim (the owner) and explained the problem. He advised me to purchase the Angie's List special before scheduling to save meet some money. After the purchase, Jim scheduled a visit for the next day. He showed up within the agreed upon time frame, called me with his findings and to get my authorization. Then came in the very next day with parts (a new drain motor) and finished the job. Parts and additional labor (due to the awkward location of the washer) raised the cost a little, but it was reasonable. Here's what our tenants said - "The service was excellent. He was very professional and thorough. He explained to me the issue and made sure I understood what he was going to be doing. He was here for maybe an hour. He also wore booties over his work shows which is something I rarely see people do. He was very polite and kind." I will use Jim's services again if the need arises and will recommend him to friends.

    From the moment we called, they were customer service focused. They asked us for the model number and helped us locate it on the oven. She then scheduled us for the next day and gave us a 90 minute window. The technician phoned 30 minutes before his arrival. He showed up within that time frame. Tyrone was courteous, explained what was wrong, and fixed the oven. We would hire them again.

    There was a mix up on the date of service--they came a day earlier than scheduled. However, we hadn't left for the day yet so it worked out. Efficient and professional work. It's a dirty job but there was no soot or debris left behind. They showed us what the chimney looked like before they cleaned it. We have had chimney cleaning done before but no one has offered to show us before and after the work was completed. They also replaced our 30 year old chimney cap for a small price. Gave us tips and what we should do as far as sealing the outside of the chimney. Didn't try to up sell us at all like other companies have. Definitely will use them again.

    Called for appt and was able to get one for the following day.  Technician called to say he would arrive in 45 min and got here on time.  We surveyed the damage done to the vent -- improperly retaped after servicing.  I told him I would like a metal vent instead of the accordian one.  He was able to do that so that it is very neat looking and it not resting on any water pipes.  After reconnecting the vent he checked for air flow on the outside of the vent.  No air was coming through so he snaked it and found part of a bird's nest and lint that the previous company had missed.  After he finished warm air was once again coming out of the vent,  He then stabilized the dryer which was wobbling from having been moved

    I called at about 11:30 on a Tuesday and he said he would be there until 3pm and I could come over. He gave me great directions and I drove up and he sharpened five of my knives. Two we somewhat bent and he took about half an inch length off one knife (after telling me the problem and then telling me what he could do). I am enjoying my like new knives.

    I previously used DAR earlier this year as well as purchasing one of the Angie List coupons towards appliance repair due to their listing stating they service Montgomery County.  I called today to setup an appointment for my daughter who owns a townhome in Burtonsville, MD.  The response I received was that DAR does not service that part of Montgomery County.  I told them that they then needed to update their listing on Angie's List since Burtonsville is in Montgomery County.  Salesperson was not very professional and would definitely not win any personality awards.

    What wonderful service! He was honest and even though the TV was beyond repair, he told us he would dispose of it for us.
    I really cannot remember what his fee was but it was reasonable. He has integrity and is an and quot;old schooland quot; sense of quality service and customer service. I would use him again in a heartbeat!

    I found Mr. Hugo on Angie's list and sent him an email describing my old piano and how bad it was. He called the same day and made an appointment for the same week. He was a few minutes early and sat right down and started tuning the piano. He is very perfessional, personable and knows what he is doing. It's been awhile since I've had so much fun at the piano. His price was in the middle range of what he had estimated. I'll definitely use him again.
