    Bark Busters Home Dog Training
I worked with Sharon and she was out of Crofton MD. She was a great trainer, had a lot of energy and a lot of patience. The dog I adopted had not been socialized, was very hyper and a little agressive. Whenever she was around he would calm down and obey. She seemed to be the female version of Caesar. Unfortunately I had to surrender the dog because he was more than I could handle and with a full time job I did not have enough time to devote to him. I was extremely heartbroken about this as I am an animal lover and my reason for rescuing him was to try and stop him from being put into a shelter. She let me cry on the phone after I explained why I was surrendering him to a shelter. She offered to work with me more often but my schedule wouldn't allow me more time.

    Bark Busters Home Dog Training
I hired bark busters because I had adopted a pit bull that had been previously owned by a family member. The dog has been kept crated and was not trained at all. i'm an animal lover and unlike some people I don't believe that pit bulls are bad dogs. Sharon was an excellent trainer and she gave some great tips but the dog was very mouthy and I often times had bruises up and down my arm from the dog chewing on me. The dog got a little too aggressive one time when I was walking him and ripped my shirt. I don't think he was trying to attack and kill me but he just wanted to play very aggressive and didn't realize he was hurting me. I sent a text to Sharon and she responded right away with tips to try and get him to calm down and I really appreciated that. In the end we gave the dog to a shelter because he needed intense and consistent training, my husband and I both work and just didn't have the time to work with him at the level he needed. Sharon offered to continue to work with us more often but our schedules weren't syncing up. We both felt really bad about relinquishing the dog because we took him in so he would not be sent to a shelter, we just didn't realize how much training he needed.

    Paradise For Pets
They’re good, they’re very good. I have a dog that’s a little anxious and because he was anxious they put him with the older dogs, because the older dogs were calmer. I think they’re good. I think the price is average. I found them through Angie’s List. He was glad to see me, but he was fine there.

    PETSMART
The grooming, shampoo. and cut and teeth brushing and things like that , the whole shabang. They came out shiny. The facility is always awesome. It's comfortable. The pets are the customers. They have their little treats there for them. They don't get upset when they have a little accident. I like going in there. My children like going every Sunday but I can't go every Sunday. They like to go just to see the animals. I have little veterinarians on my hand.

    KeepPup Mobile Grooming Spa
Amanear is very friendly and right on time.k She certainly knows how to groom a shih tzu. This is the best groom Missy has ever received and we were done in about an hour. The grooming mobile is amazing and not a cage in sight. Missy had a quiet spa experience that she truly enjoyed. The experience was so perfect we are booked through October.

    Belair Veterinary Hospital
My daughter took them. It was around $60 per cat and we have 3 cats. Two of the cats went and the other cat went in separately. We have been using them since probably 1987 or 1988. Scheduling is generally pretty easy to arrange something with them that we have. Staff interactions they are generally pretty helpful and pretty knowledgeable. Partly it;s a little familiarity; we started going to them in 1986 and they were the only one really in the area at the time. We've never had any real problems. I think the only problem any one of our cats has ever had with treatments with them was that one had to get his teeth removed and they didn't quite manage to get all the pieces of one tooth, but dental surgery is not that common for cats. They pretty much discovered the problem, brought him in and fixed it, and it was free of charge. It was couple of years ago with a cat who is no longer with us. But as long as we have been going there that was the absolute worst that they have handled anything, and from what I understand that was a fairly difficult thing to do; get all the teeth out. Occasionally they will have to rearrange because they have had some emergency come in, but that's really the only time I have ever had them have to rearrange. They might have to change which particular veterinarian you see if you need to specific doctor instead of one of the technicians because it's just a shot. Their staff has always been pretty helpful and friendly. I would never give them anything lower than a B for any particular visit. It's not that uncommon for them to be running a little bit late.

    DOGWOOD ACRES PET RETREAT
We send our lab to Dogwood Acres several times a month, and have used their grooming service as well.  Our dog absolutely adores his 'camp' days, racing to his leash on the mornings that he is going and is so excited to get there.  He adores the pool, and loves playing with the daycare providers.  They call him by name and get down and play with him.
The people there really love their jobs and the animals, and it shows.  There's also a webcam running on the various play yards, so you can check on your dog during the day.  I am completely comfortable leaving my dog in their care.

They really do care about the animal. They are  a true hospital. If your pet has to stay, they have some body who will keep the pet safe. I have been been taking my pets there since I was a little girl.

    Hazel Ridge Veterinary
Dr Harris is not only a superb vet, but his attentiveness to the needs and concerns of his patients' owners truly goes above and beyond what could reasonably be expected.   During a very worrisome period of serious health issues for my mother-in-law's dog, he would finish each visit by patiently explain all the clinical and medical issues to her.  Much of this eluded her understanding due to her limited English.
At her request, he would then call me, on the east coast, to explain it all again to me, so I could ask the questions she had asked me, and gain a fuller understanding to relay to her.  This typically happened after he had completed work for the day, often delaying his departure from his vet clinic after an already too long day.  In spite of several hours of lengthy conversations with me over the course of the year, her vet bills never once reflected the extra time he put in by calling me, and it was a lot of time!  He had absolutely no obligation to me, and in fact we've yet to meet other than by phone conversation, but he was unfailingly patient, polite and professional.  He truly wanted me to be able to explain it to my mother-in-law in terms that she'd understand, and that would calm her anxiety, which was generally running at full throttle.  To be charitable, her fears were usually grossly overblown, and exacerbated by her lack of understanding.  If I were less charitable, I'd say that if anxiety were contagious, the population of Sacramento would have died of a panic attack.  But that would be uncharitable, so forget I ever said that!  She can be a very difficult and demanding person (I would say hair-on-fire exasperating, but again, that would be uncharitable, so let's just say "mother-in-law"!), yet he responded with kindness, chivalry, and the very best of veterinary practice.
The bottom line is this:  if I lived in Sacramento, he would unquestionably be our dog's vet.  His judgment, his practice of veterinary medicine, and his compassion for pets and their owners (and their beleaguered sons-in law) are all impeccable.
