    Thompson Appliance Repair LLC
Found Mr. Thompson to be a true professional. Initial inspection of dryer, he suspected blocked external air ducts. Rather than perform unnecessary work, he advised me to have duct cleaned, and altered his trip charge. You don't find such honesty these days. He was also very punctual. Personally like to deal with small business proprietors versus large enterprises. Would certainly hire again.

    B. R. Mitchell's Electrical Service
Repair required 2 visits: 1) to diagnose the issue (tech did not have replacement part and had to order). 2) 2nd visit to replace the failed part. Excellent service. Work area cleaned up after repair completed.

    Steps Appliance Repair
They were AMAZING. I was frustrated after waiting three weeks for my home warranty company's contractor to return after messing up the replacement of the washer's transmission. Two days after their initial repair, the washer broke again...identical problem. As laundry grew into an insurmountable mountain in our house, my husband and I decided to hire our own repair person. Enter Steps Appliance Repair. They were warm and responsive, and scheduled us for a same day appointment. They were right on time, and fixed the washer for the cost of the initial call fee. The gentleman was knowledgeable, friendly, and informative. I would recommend them to anyone.

    Choice Home Warranty
Excellent! Although the contractor was extremely late, he still came and did the work. He was flexible by fitting our job into his schedule a day earlier than planned. Lets not forget the service fee price, phenomenal! Choice Warranty for the win!

    Wooten Appliance
Had an entirely unprofessional encounter with the representative from Wooten Appliance. I had gone through online scheduling, during which time I received an appointment window that was very reasonable, and the technician came within that window as anticipated. The issue was that the refrigerator portion of my refrigerator/freezer was not correctly cooling to temperature. When the technician arrived, they checked the front panel and I had the unit set in Celsius, indicating it was at 1C. He felt compelled to switch to Fahrenheit, which is fine, and in doing so changed the setting of the fridge to the highest setting from the lowest. No harm done. When he visually inspected the unit, he put his hand into the fridge and indicated that the unit was cooling. I tried to inform him that he had re-adjusted the temp, and that the new setting was 10 degrees warmer, but regardless of setting the unit was not cooling to specification, and that the temps inside were unsafe. To demonstrate the point, I used a digital Thermapen and put it into butter in the unit to illustrate that it was at nearly 60 degrees (F) -- unsafe, and well out of range for safe food storage. At this point the technician started arguing with me, explaining how the temperature buttons worked, and then exited. He said that we wasn't going to fight with the homeowner and just left in the middle of the service call. To be fair, I had not been charged and he left long before even a diagnosis of the problem, but for a technician to fail to hear from the owner about what was wrong, or even use any instrumentation to verify whether the unit was cooling to temperature or not is clearly unprofessional. I had high hopes for Wooten Appliance given the prompt responses in scheduling and the timely arrival. It is unfortunate that experience didn't carry through to the actual work.

Jenny and Gary came out and remodeled my kitchen. It was old and was dated I need a new cabinets, floors, countertops, appliances, lighting, plumbing and electrical issues. They converted it into a space that I can't get enough off. I now have a space where I can entertain people sit and have coffee. It's amazing I love it and I can't thank them enough for the beautiful design and all the hard work they put into it. I will definitely recommend them to everyone.

    Wooten Appliance
Cody, the technician arrived on time and started cleaning and inspecting my appliances. He advised me about a pending problem with my washer, so I know to be alert to this problem occurring. He also gave me some maintenance tips about my appliances. He also helped me find the model number to my cooktop so I can replace the dials. I will use Wooten Appliance again.

    Mr. Appliance of Laurel MD
Took 3-4 weeks before the parts came in. The company never contacted me about the back order. Once the tech finally came bk he told me that the motor in the chute was rusted due to water spilling out of ice maker and I would have to purchase a new motor. Tech eventually got the old motor working but 2 weeks later the ice chute stop working again. Called company bk and tech stated that I needed a new motor which he should have diagnosed with the initial diagnoses and I would have to pay an additional fee for labor. I told him I was not paying fees for labor on an issue that should have been diagnosed when he first came out. The tech stated he would write up the issue and their dispatch would call to discuss payment. Needless to say I havent heard back from this company regarding the motor nor fixing the problem and its been 2 weeks! Terrible customer service!!

    AIV Elite
Poorly. Zach (the first technician) came out to diagnose the problem ($120 for the call) and confirmed it was the motor. He stated that a new motor and gasket kit would need to be assembled and gave me a cost for the parts. He was extremely defensive and uncooperative when I pointed out the motor should be covered at no cost due to the warranty and stated that I would have to call LG and work things out with them myself. When I noted that as an authorized repair service provider I had been told that all they needed to do was to diagnose the issue and put in for the part I was told that they say things all the time and if I didn't get it recorded it was a he-said she-said situation. I contacted LG the next day and they contacted AIV elite to resolve this situation as I should not have to be involved in any claims since they were an authorized repair dealer. I followed up a few days later and found out that the gasket part was not included in the warrenty but no one bothered to call me about this. I insisted another tech be sent out and talked with a manager receiving only a half-hearted apology and they'd talk to the original tech. Second technician came out, fixed the motor ($120 + $60ish for the parts) but did not secure the dishwasher. Pulling the door open would cause the whole unit to slide out. Called AIV elite, technician was sent out again a few days later and secured the dishwasher by raising the feet beneath to 'wedge' it in. When asked why this wasn't done when we was first out he admitted that he found the unit loose (logical since it had to be pulled out for diagnosis) and didn't install them so he didn't know how it was secured. He did know about the feet but not if there was a securing bolt or other method of securement. This from an authorized repair outfit? Needless to say I am less than pleased at the poor service of the technicians and can't recommend this company for any repairs.

    Sears Appliance Repair
It took three visits to fix it. The repairman did not have the necessary tools to figure out the problem. He had to call a colleague or boss to get help In determining the problem and possible solution.
