    Rosa's Mobile Pet Grooming
Very well - prior to the appointment, they called to confirm the time. The mobile facility was clean and our dogs looked beautiful when they came out. The groomers were friendly and very nice to our dogs.

One experience I called and got an appointment.  I showed up and they had made a mistake and didn't write down my appointment.  They wouldn't accommodate me.  I had to reschedule and go home.

We are very happy with them; they are excellent and their grooming was really one of the best. We really liked them. Their services are really good and we have had two visits. We took her before for grooming and previous to that to see the doctor because she was having some problems but every time, we were happy. I don't know how much they charge for vaccination but for grooming we wanted all kinds of excess stuff and so, it was 90$. It was a little bit more than other places, but it was really worth it. They washed our pet and groomed her so well that over a week after, she still looks gorgeous. We came from Florida-we used to live there and there were all kinds of grooming there but this was the best we ever had. The guy who does it has apparently been doing it for a very long time and he did a great job. He was really personable and he took his time.

When I picked up my dog his hair cut did NOT resemble the cut for his breed at all, so his cut is ruined. I specifically asked that the hair on his legs to be left longer and they were shaved. His jowls are to be left longer with a square shape and they shaved it down to his face. They left his ear hair long so he resembles one of the hairless dogs with long hair on their ears that win the ugly dog contests. :(
The last time I brought him to Petsmart grooming, we dropped him off in in morning. They said that they would call when he was ready. We called and did not get through. We came to pick him up late afternoon, and Petsmart had forgotten about him. :(
I was out of town and forgot his medication. I needed to pick up a refill on the prescription. Petsmart refused to refill the prescription without charging me for a full medical exam, despite the fact the vet would fax the prescription and Petsmart has all of his vaccines on file. :(

Bark In Style Dc & MD Mobile Pet Grooming
My 15 year old golden retriever is very frail, doesn't stand too well, and can't negotiate stairs sometimes or jump up and down--she can no longer tolerate a full day at the groomers. Bark Style treated my dog so nicely and did such a beautiful job grooming her. She was not stressed at all afterwards. She looks fantastic and I would strongly recommend this company to anyone who has some type of a special needs dog.

It's great. Dr. Salenik is really wonderful. She's got a great manner with the cat. She's very reasonably priced. Ahead of time, she doesn't confuse you about what the end price is going to be. She comes across as professional but she's also somewhat casual as well. Some people might think of that as not professional. I don't necessarily think that it's unprofessional to be casual.

We are new to Bethesda, MD and our 8.5 year old Goldendoodle was due for a wash/groom and cut and we had read good things about BoneJour so gave it a try.

    It was a busy salon.

We were pleased with the job that was done as she looked good and it was priced well.

However, on arriving to collect our girl-the attendant at the desk made our hearts sink when she told us that the groomer has recommended that my dog take sedation from the vet i.e. anxiety pills before her next appointment. On asking for clarification- she explained that our dog was howling whilst in the cage. My dog gets naturally nervous for grooming - but nothing out of the ordinary. This confused us, as in our dog's entire 8.5 year life, with regular grooming every 3-6 months and at different grooming shops (as we have moved quite a bit in the last 7 years) - not once has any groomer ever made such a recommendation. She has never required ANY sedation?!

In retrospect, we should have had the groomer-the one making the recommendation come out and explain. Overall, it was not very professional. This experience has put us off having our dog return.Despite the good price and good haircut - this comment overshadowed our overall experience and rating.

The provider was not very warm. He never spoke to my dog or gave any indication that he particularly likes dogs. My dog is older and quite docile so there wasn't any reason for him o be so curt. I pointed out that my dog has a viral condition that produces growths on her body. He paid zero attention to that so that when he combed her, he tore open several of the growths.
She looked ok in the end, but why would ever use someone who is so indifferent to her when there are other groomers around who actually care about the dog?

    Dany's Grooming
Dany did a great job. She was right on time, called the night before to confirm appointment, knows what she is doing and was very kind and gentle with our dog. I have already arranged our next appointment.

I took my dog in once for a grooming and saw how rough they are with the dogs so didn't go back. I went in a few months ago to get a nail trim thinking if I was standing there watching and waiting it would be okay. The technician put my dog on the table (the dog was shaking in fear) and started yanking at her feet. While the technician was working on one of my dogs back feet, my dog squealed and I almost went through the gate. The technician said "she is just scared. she is fine." Turns out the technician had cut one of her nails so short it bled. The technician either didn't care or didn't notice. Either way I got to pay for the privilege of having my dog hurt. Will never go back.
