    Everything went smoothly and the outcome met all expectations.  Dr. Chen had a great rapport with our daughter.  He explained the procedure in great detail, directly to our daughter, but in terms she could understand.  He made sure she was comfortable, and ensured she asked questions.  The nursing staff were equally great-- friendly, compassionate, and excellent communications with her and us. This went through immediately after, and the follow-up 3 and 6 months after the procedure.  They were highly efficient and professional, seeing us when they told us they would.  I usually bring in books and magazines when waiting.  I had the opportunity to read none because we were seen right away.  Parking across the street.  One of the best experiences we've ever had in a doctor's office.  I only wish we needed more gum work!

    The adjustment is pretty straightforward and that's not where thing went wrong. It turned out that the billing code he submitted to insurance company for $300 was not covered by our plan. Another charge of $150 for adjusting my wife's night guard turned out not covered either. A side story, Dr Barber appeared to be upset when I told him I did not need adjustment for my night guard.
    Following the advise from the insurance agent, we called his office to check if they've used the wrong code. Surprisingly, they did not want to work with the insurance company to get this right. Later we had a phone call with Dr Barber and all we asked were whether his coder had used the right code, and whether we could get a lower rate similar to the rate insurance company pays for similar service (about half of what he ask us to pay). To our surprise, he was very very rude. He told us that he would not see us in the future because we are and quot;making troublesand quot;. Quoting his own words, I feel he is not truly respecting his patients. He said and quot;according his 25 year experience, once patients start asking questions about their bills, they will become troublesand quot; and and quot;it is patients' sole responsibility to know what service is covered by insurance; and it is not the practice's responsibility at alland quot;.
    I told him that his decision is very unfortunate since a two-year good doc-patient relationship could not even survive a simple discussion on billing issues. There got to be something happened to his practice and now it felt so rude. And we would not recommend him to anyone due to way he treated us, and likely other patients as well.

    Dr. Puterman and his team are excellent, caring and professional. Even though this was not an easy procedure for me, it was made less uncomfortable by the clear explanations before the surgery and Dr. Puterman's call after the surgery. I had a small incident in the week before the follow up and stitch removal and he and his team quickly called me back (even when he does not have appointments on Wednesday) and called again to make sure I was OK. He is a great choice.

    The surgery was a success.  I am very happy with my new implant.  Dr. Rose installed the post for the implant, and my regular dentist attached the prosthetic tooth to the post.  Communication and coordination between Dr. Rose and my dentist was very important in the process; so I greatly appreciate the fact that Dr. Rose is so competent and pleasant.  His prices might be a bit higher than some, but he is well worth it.   Do's and Don't s:  DO ask all of your questions; it is important for your own health that you understand the process.  DON'T hesitate to use his after-hours phone number if you have a concern; he was always courteous and helpful to me.  When the dentist fits the prosthesis to the post, he will shape the prosthesis to fit comfortably in your mouth.  DO let him know if it is not comfortable at first, and work with him to get it right.

    My tooth had cracked and I had to have it extracted. I called Dr. Puterman's office and they scheduled a time to see me very quickly. After looking at my situation Dr. Puterman explained my options to me very thoroughly. I decided to have an implant. When I left the office I felt like I really understood what the procedure would entail and that Dr. Puterman cared about my well being and health. The next appointment I had the tooth extracted and the abutment placed. Dr. Puterman worked very efficiently and and everything went very smoothly. I have never had a shot Novocaine that was so painless! My appoint was on a Friday and on Saturday morning Dr. Puterman call me to check on how I was feeling. I have been back for several visits to check that the implant is healing and I will have to go back for about 2 years. All healed up very well at this point and I now have a tooth you would never guess is not 'original'. All the staff is wonderful at this office and are very friendly and kind. I strongly recommend Dr. Puterman's office.

    The hygienist, Sherie came for me at the time of my appointment.  Her cleanings are very thorough and careful.  She is very personable and interesting yet very professional.  Dr. Levine came in after the cleaning to check the status of my gums and address any concerns that Sherie expressed.  I have complete confidence in the work performed by Dr. Levine and his staff.
