  • Dr. Mehany listens like no other doctor I have had. He is very present during the time of the visit - not distracted by putting info in the electronic health record, not anxious about moving to the next patient. He gives a lot of space to the visit. He asks open ended questions with curiosity and no judgement. He explains well. He is easy going, attentive, and gentle. I am grateful to have such a doctor!

  • So far so good. Original injury was months ago, while traveling, and had doctors look at it in different developing countries, but even after a couple of months of being splinted, recovery was limited. Dr. Barth seemed more knowledgeable about this specific injury (common to basketball and baseball players, I understand), and recommended another try at splinting it for an extended period. He had better, less intrusive splints in various sizes designed for this type of injury, and did an excellent job of explaining the treatment options, recommendations, and realistic outcomes. Too early to tell how it will go, but I feel confident that whatever the outcome it will be the best possible for my specific case. Office was efficient and courteous. Didn't have to wait very long to be seen, and didn't feel rushed during exam and consultation. Could provide all potentially relevant info got clear answers to all questions.

  • Audiologist E. Ney preformed a hearing test to determine where I had lost hearing in both ears since my last exam. It showed my hearing ability had decreased a considerable amount since my last test. I was fitted with two new hearing aid that were made to cover my hearing loss. Ms. Ney has been my audiologist since 1989 and I have been very satisfied with her patience and care with my loss of one of our very important senses.

  • This was my first visit to Remedies based on Anne's recommendation to do micro needling on my chest. Anne has been doing my facials for 20+ years and I totally trust her judgment. The atmosphere at Remedies was extremely pleasant and the staff professional and knowledgeable. The treatment went as painless and smooth as Anne had described it and I will definitely be back in a month for a second session. Highly recommend Remedies.

  • Dr Boiano could not have been more accommodation and capably solved my problem.  It was a pleasure to be in that office.  Their courtesy and efficiency is above reproach.  I was completely satisfied

  • We have been dealing with Dr. Evans, orthopedic surgeon at Georgetown University Hospital for over 15 years. He is kind, patient, and an expert. We couldn't ask for anyone better A+++++++

  • The doctors at Georgetown Hospital are excellent and there is genuine concern for patients. Some them are wonderful. However, since MedStar took over Georgetown Hospital, business decisions trump medical decisions. The MedStar administration fired experienced clinicians. Some of the new doctors have good credentials but far less clinical experience. It is nearly impossible to get an appointment with the experienced doctors now. Everything comes down to cost cutting, beating the competition and polishing the hospital's image. This does not build excellence. Commitment to research has waned. . Appointment scheduling has been centralized and the low-paid staff have an "attitude" and make many mistakes. There is no accountability. I have gone to an appointment at Georgetown only to find that the scheduler set the appointment at Medstar Washington Hospital. As a result of the error the National rehab doctor did not get paid. Georgetown Hospital staff still try to live up to a Catholic Jesuit historical tradition of personal, compassionate care. However, Medstar does not do it justice. Finally.,I have no personal or professional affiliation to the hospital. As a patient I depend on quality care. I hope that the hospital can shake off Medstar.

  • I called the office of Siegel and Bosworth as soon as I was directed to see an ENT for my problem. The staff member I spoke with over the phone was friendly, professional, and attentive. I indicated that I would like to see Dr. Bosworth, as I had seen him several years ago on a one-off appointment. She indicated that the doctors schedule usually filled up a week in advance, however when I indicated the level of pain I was experiencing, she worked with me to find an appointment much sooner. She also indicated I could go to the website for the practice, pull the new patient paperwork, and prepare that in advance of the appointment to speed up the check-in process. The practice has a tidy office on Shady Grove Road, and the staff was busy, but attentive. There is a small play area for children in the waiting room, so if there are small kids there, expect a little noise! My wait to see the doctor was brief, and the nurse who took my vitals before he came in was very friendly and efficient. Dr. Bosworth saw me very quickly and was able to diagnose my issue in short order. He took copious notes and answered all of my questions. He has a wonderful, engaging manner and made me feel very comfortable and well-informed. When I expressed a concern about a possible hearing problem, he made sure that I could see the audiologist in the office that same day. The audiologist was great to work with and her testing procedure made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely be returning to this practice, and I would highly recommend Dr. Bosworth for anyone with ENT needs.

  • Marie, the Office Manager graciously introduced me to the Office.
The hearing aid which is five years old was not functioning properly.
In a few minutes she analyzed the hearing aid and determined that the wire from the hearing aid to the inside fitting was broken and that could easily and inexpensively be repaired.
It was repaired within a few minutes.
Then, the hearing aid was tested in my ear and found not very helpful.
I had my audiogram with me, and Hull reviewed it and we asked whether that hearing aid had the capability to improve my hearing.
Marie did research on the make and model and looked at the capabilities of the device on line and determined that the power was sufficient but the added volume could be gained with a new type of wire from the device to the portion that fits inside my ear.
I asked if the setting were appropriate for my hearing deficiency based on my audiogram, and was advised that it would take some time to assure that all the setting were appropriate. I asked her to check and reset the settings as appropriate.
    This was done.
Eureaka!! ,for the first time in five years and after having gone to another provider numerous times, I can now hear despite being diagnosed with a profound hearing loss.
Marie was instrumental in managing this process to a quite successful conclusion.
The charges were totally reasonable and included three follow  up visits, if necessary.

  • This was my first visit, and everything went well.  He was very thorough in his examination and diagnosis, he followed via email with some useful information, and I only waited five or ten minutes before getting into an exam room.
