    Zou came out in July to fix my ice maker and dishwasher latch. He adjusted the original estimate of working on the latch because I had purchased and installed it, but it wasn't quite right. We used the ice maker off and on for the summer, but didn't use it for a while. When I turned it last week, it started doing the exact same thing as before. Called and they offered to send someone out immediately at no cost even though it had been at least 6 months. When Zou came, he spent about 20 minutes tinkering with it. I've had it on for three days and no problems. They did not charge me for coming back or for Zou's time. To me that is good service.

    Technician showed up at the agreed time and identified the problem and corrected it at the agreed price. Technician was extremely knowledgeable and suggested actions that I could take to avoid problems in the future. I would highly recommend them and definitely use them again!!!

    I had the BEST service. Adrian came early in the morning before I had to get to work. He knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it without missing a beat!!!! He also showed me what to do if the situation happened again. I was nervous that the repair would cost a small fortune....the service price was reasonable and very fair. I never write reviews. I thought that everyone should know about the service I received.

    Took over a week to order replacement part. Showed up late for scheduled appointment. Worker tried to pry off control panel and damaged custom cabinetry. When that failed, the worker's supervisor said they would not perform the repair work. The repairman couldn't reinstall control panel properly and left without performing the work or offering to repair/replace damaged custom cabinetry, which will cost us hundreds of dollars to fix. The worst appliance repair I have ever experienced.

    I called DAR at 10:00 on a Friday. The technician arrived at 11:00! Amazing! He was polite and professional and easily diagnosed the problem. He had to get a part and would come back the following day. My appt. was scheduled between 2:00-5:00 and he arrived at 1:58. I wish other companies would be so prompt! He quickly repaired the problem and was finished in 20 minutes. I was even able to use an Angie���s List coupon for $50 off. I definitely recommend this company, especially for things that need immediate attention. They worked great for me!

    No follow up, never ordered part, acted like they could have cared less, person answering phone had no information, always had to find out and ���call me back��� which never happened. I will never do business with them again, they never completed the repair

    They were terrific. They arrive the same day we called them(Saturday), no extra charge, identify the problem instantly, fixed it on the spot (they had the part on the truck) explained exactly what was going on and all at a very reasonable price. The technician could not have been more professional, friendly and helpful. It was all in all the terrific experience.

    My 3-year old LG refrigerator had 2 issues: the ice maker was not dropping ice into the bin and the touch-sensitive button on the door that switches from cubed to crushed ice was not working. Factor spent approximately 20 minutes looking at things and speaking with me. We switched off the fridge at the circuit breaker and turned it back on. He then told me that whole ice maker would need replacing and the panel in the door with the touch buttons would need replacing. He quoted me $400+ for the ice maker and $500+ for the panel. I looked up the price of a new ice maker on the LG parts web site - $125. I paid $80 for the visit. I then found a repairman from LG, an actual employee of LG, to come and look. He found that the compressor was not working, the temp in my freezer was 5-10 degrees too high, and therefore the sensor in the ice maker was not allowing it to dump the ice. There is nothing at all wrong with the ice maker. He ordered a new compressor and a new panel for the door, these will arrive at my home in 48 hours and he will return that day to install them. And it's all under warranty. THAT is service.

    I've used Mr. Callas on multiple occasions and had extremely positive experiences. Mr. Callas will normally try to troubleshoot with you over the phone before making the trip and suggest do-it-yourself suggestions to prevent any repair at all. While he is pricey, that seems standard with Sub-Zero repairs and his willingness to troubleshoot before launching into a pricey repair justifies any premium.
