Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • George under promised and over delivered. I had a SanSpa jetted tub/shower insert removed and replaced with an acrylic shower surround with shower base and sliding glass doors. George completed the work on time, at the price quoted, and helped me solve some special order problems that I had along the way. We were preparing the house for sale and my realtor was very concerned that we were replacing the shower with an acrylic surround instead of tile, but was pleasantly surprised at the results. George provided me with good advice to help me with the selection of materials and I would definitely recommend him to my friends and use him again.

  • After suffering some months of extremely poor workmanship, George offered us his professional opinion and expertise which resulted in removing the previous work and starting over. Though he was exceedingly busy during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, he nontheless "squeezed" us in and delighted us with a beautiful shower and surround. He surpassed our every expectation with his skill, competence and and professionalism. We're lucky and honored to have found him.

  • Exceptional, we couldn't ask for a better partner in helping us remodel our kitchen and bath.  Offered ideas we didn't even think of, and suggested alternatives and less costly options. Wanted to ensure we were happy with everything before beginning, during and after the projects. He was very accommodating when we asked for more or different things once the projects began, and all work was outstanding.  We would recommend Larry Comer to anyone.  He will not let you down or disappoint you.  We are very happy with everything.

  • They were excellent. The salesperson that I originally spoke with oversaw the entire project. When they came to take down the old, he was there. When they came to install the new, he was there. He was very professional. It was just an excellent experience. He was really hands-on. The cost of the service was very good. I did recommend them to my sister-in-law and she used them.

  • I contacted Atlantic Plumbing for an estimate for plumbing work in my kitchen and installation of a gas line to my stove for an upcoming kitchen remodel.  I called on Thursday and an appointment was set up for the following Tuesday.  I was told I would receive a call when he was on his way.  No one showed and no one called on Tuesday.  Late in the day I contacted Atlantic Plumbing again.  I was greeted by a very stressed individual who told me they were dealing with burst pipes at another location and that is why he did not show up for the estimate or call to cancel.  Based on the reviews on Angie's List I thought give them a second chance.  I was told I would receive a call back to let me know when they would come to the house for an estimate.  To date I have received no phone call.  While others have received excellent service I cannot say that.  I would suggest if the company is unable to provide the service due to workload they should just say so.  If this had been the case I would have thought "hmm they must be good because they are in high demand."  When I needed a plumber again Atlantic Plumbing would have been on the list.

  • I was very pleased, and satisfied. He's very honest, eager to please, always calling making sure things are ok. The work was up to my satisfaction, and he even did everything to my specific needs. His team was honest and clean. He's a very nice and trustworthy guy.

  • I like their friendliness.  Their custom work is second to none.  They're polite, courteous and very, very knowledgeable.  They seemed to be in the business for a long time and had referrals with a lot of their customer's maybe some repeat customers.

  • Overall, the service was outstanding!  We are very pleased with our new kitchen.  We interviewed different contractors and even though the prices were competitive, we felt that these guys were a good choice.  They helped us select our cabinets and other items, then when it was time to start, they were on time every day and finished on budget.

  • We requested estimates from 2 companies, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and Surfside Plumbing.  Benjamin Franklin responded punctually and gave us a written estimate.  We wanted to check prices so we called Surfside.  It took a couple of calls, but my husband finally spoke with the owner of Surfside.  He said it wasn't necessary to come out and look at the job and he quoted an hourly rate and an estimate of 1 to 3 hours to complete the job.  His estimate was considerably lower than Benjamin Franklin.  We told him we'd buy the sink and faucets and call to schedule an appointment.  Within a week we had both.  We called to schedule.

The owner answered our call after several tries to reach him and said he would call back when reached his office.  No return call.  After a few days we finally called and spoke to the owner.  He said he would be out the next day.  He came out and suggested that the sink we purchased would not work well with our silestone counter top.  I agreed and we decided to buy a better quality sink.  Within a week we had the new sink.   Again we tried to schedule an appointment.  It took about a week to finally connect with the owner.  Our sink was finally installed.  The men that were sent to do the work did a great job.  And we saved a couple hundred dollars on installation.  Even considering the problems with scheduling, I think the owner tries to accommodate customers too much, we are very happy with the work that was done.

  • Brad Jung Tile Installation did the renovation on two bathrooms in my home---a master bath and guest bath.  I replaced vanity
tops, medicine cabinets, vanity light fixtures, bathtub and shower, and plumbing/bathroom and vanity hardware. Existing vanities, toilets and ceramic floors were retained.
I started the process by going to Ocean City Kitchen and Bath (OCKAB).  Brian Flurer at OCKAB
recommended Brad Jung to do the installation. (See a separate review of OCKAB. That review includes pictures also). Both visited my home to see and estimate the job.  Brian presented me two separate bids for the job. OCKAB?s bid was for all materials, and Brad?s was for the installation. I signed two separate contracts.
The materials were delivered to my home Sept.24, 2013. Brad Jung began work the same day. The master bathroom
was done first. The shower (with acrylic walls), vanity top, light fixture, and medicine cabinet were removed, and new ones were installed.  The new vanity top was quartz stone; ceramic tile was used to create the new shower with a clear glass swing door, and the new plumbing/bathroom hardware (Moen) and light fixture were brushed nickel. Once the master bathroom was completed, the guest bath underwent the same process. The acrylic walls around the tub were replaced with ceramic tile.
During the work, it was discovered that an insufficient number of 2" X 2" tiles had been ordered by OCKAB for the shower floor and striping on the bath and shower walls.  More were ordered which took about three to four days for delivery, but then it was found that the tiles came from the wrong color lot and had to be re-ordered again which took another three to four days.  Brad completed other work on the job, but then had to suspend work until the materials came in.  The installation  work was completed Oct. 16.
On installation of both medicine cabinets (Nutone), it was found that each had a small chip on one of the door mirrors so the doors had to be reordered. Also, the cabinet doors would not close securely so Brad added magnetic locks which
work very well. It took more than a month for the doors to come. Brad hung the doors, and the job was completed in total Nov. 7.
In all, the work went very well. Brad is a top-notch installer and made every effort to accommodate my requests. He had two assistants working with him, and at one point had a plumber come by to complete plumbing in the guest bathroom.
Brad completed one bathroom before starting the second bathroom ensuring that bathroom facilities were available in my home. He and his assistants were courteous, friendly and professional.  They showed up at the times they indicated, laid tarps to protect carpets, and cleaned up everyday after working. His workmanship, especially the tile work, was
    excellent.
I did not get additional estimates on the materials or installation so I can't really comment on the price other than to say it was more expensive then I expected. Brad did give me a small discount. The cost listed in this review is for installation only. The materials cost was separate.  I am very pleased with the work and would definitely use Brad Jung for future jobs.
