Called to say on the way: arrived on time: started work immediately: were very professional. Bagged up debris & had truck to carry away. Clean up area did everything in contract. Answered all my questions. When job completed took pictures & explained all to me & sent same to my computer. I would recommend to my friends & family very reasonably priced ? all the companies in my areas they were the best!

Painful Experience. Six weeks late. Only a single level 2000 sq foot home with no basement.
Had to micro-manage the process every step of the way. Small stuff and big stuff (he almost installed an electric furnace when a gas furnace was specified in the contract). We also realize that very little correcpondance was initiated by the builder and over all these months we had to initiate to get status on the house or ask the right questions to get answers. We also couldn't figure out why previous homeowners hadn't commented on the KEYSTONE BUILDERS facebook page. I now realize that either they had either blocked us or just blocks his buyers or only allows his friends to comment there.
The first thing that started to became strange to us is that Wesley Cox was the listed owner and signed all the contracts as well as listed on the Real Estate listing as the owner.  He had Jason doing all General Contractor work and Jason's card and facebok site say owner....still not sure who really owns the Keystone Builders Company but we had to hold Wesley responsible as he signed the contract and Jason for the building management.
The foundation was in when we signed the contract 9/24/2014. Settlement was set by the builder/owner for  3/27/2015.  Under the contracted work, a few modifications had to be made to the foundation to allow for the options we had in the contract we signed. We never made any changes to that contract. The house was under roof by 11/16/14 with no impacts by weather. Jason had verbally indicated that the house probably would be ready in February 2015. We were excited. We started discussions on adding a porch to the house, but only if it wouldn't impact delivery. We were assured that it could be done in the original time-frame. As January 2015  rolled around we were making the 6 hour round-trip drive to see the house every few weeks, we weren't seeing any progress. The builder wasn't getting the furnace installed or the utilities hooked up. We continued to be assured that the house would be done by March 27th. We honestly were concerned that the builder was going to "walk away from the house" and were looking into what legal action we would have to take.  We took the porch and several items in the house "off his plate" and managed them our selves to assure they got done (bath enclosures). As March 2015 approached small bits of progress were made and by Mid-March we were asked to extend the contract out to 4/30/2015. Of course this had disappointing impacts to us and business impacts to our bank/lender, appraisers, our home inspector, utility changeovers, and movers. We were firm with the owner/builder that we had loan lock-in and other arrangements and the house had to be done. Assured over and over it will be done. Wasn't done and asked to extended out another week, now 5 weeks late and moving into week 6.  Also, no certificate of occupancy from county yet. Our bank/lender did us a favor and appraised the house "as is" with trim not complete and painters in the house. We again pushed off appliance and security system installs and couldn't reschedule our furniture delivery. We finally settled on 5/15/2015 and really wasn't fully finished and we are still finding corner s that were cut. It was so surprising to us that the owner/builder was looking at the contract date as the day he had to finish....it is the settlement date. The house has to be done and final inspection 2 weeks before to get the final Certificate of Occupancy from the county and to allow for bank/loan appraisals. I believe they have been in business for several years so I just have to assume this is how they do business. I know 1st hand the house before ours in our community had a similar experience but thought perhaps there were some misunderstanding but now realize this is just how they do business. Like I said painful when it should have been a great experience.

The door did not fit properly from day one. Had Day's rep who sold me the door out several times. No satisfaction. Door never fit properly. It leaked when rained. Would not even stay closed when we had minimal wind. The lock on the door never worked. Very bad experience.

Very easy to work with, very honest, quality work that was completed on time. Exactly what we agreed upon and I was not in the area at the time of work. They listened and aim to please.
