  • The over all experience was fantastic! The owner was very friendly & he came out & gave us an estimate for the work that we wanted done. The crew was very professional & did a awesome job! We are extremely pleased with the work & we've had several of our neighbors comment on how great our yard looks! Thanks SBC!

  • Excellent! Very pleased with Dave's response to my initial phone call & first appointment. I sent numerous emails with many suggestions & questions prior to signing the proposal. I always received a timely response to all. He is a pleasure to work with & he is very knowledgeable.

  • Met the company at the Timonium Lawn and Garden Show in November and talked with them about some landscaping from the front of the house.  Don Donahue came out the following week and we talked about the work to be done.  He noticed the water issues and proposed the remediation.  He also gave a bid for the landscaping work, which we postponed until spring and gave the go ahead for the remediation.  They did the work in one day and it works as advertised.
The only real issue I have with them was it was hard to get them to respond and they were reluctant to send anything over email.  They have been apparently been burned before by supplying designs, then having their customers run off and do it themselves or hire someone else to do it.  Eventually we worked through all that, but it seemed harder than it should have been.
I will use them again in the spring to do the rest of the landscaping, Don has a nice eye for design and we liked what he proposed with the parameters we gave them.

  • It took a few weeks to schedule an appointment for an estimate and the work was completed the following week.  Steve was thorough and knowledgeable.  I was not home when the work was performed which worked out great for me and everything was done as discussed.

  • Dana was extremely professional, low pressure and obviously knowledgeable. I needed to learn about my new trees before I could make a decision on what to do about each, and he was willing to take the time to share his expertise. It's rare to see this kind of service nowadays; other companies just want to come in, chop down, and get out. The yard is half the reason I purchased the new home and the trees are important to me, Dana made it clear that they were important to him too. If you want a company that goes above and beyond, call Landmark Tree Care!

  • Mark (the owner) came out promptly when scheduled and gave an estimate.  The original estimate included extra pruning not asked for and did not include the yard debris cleanup (that was our fault, forgot to point it out).  Second version removed the pruning and said that they were going to cut down several trees in the wetland area, again something not asked for.  The third version of the estimate was finally correct and we accepted the estimate.  We got no response for a date for a week, so I finally emailed them and they quickly responded with a date.
They came out on the date scheduled and did a very nice job with the landscaping, the tree pruning and the cleanup of the wetland area.  They also removed the evergreen.  This is where I had an issue.  Apparently the word "remove" means to cut the tree down to the ground and leave the stump behind.  I thought it included the stump.  I contacted Mark to ask, and he says that he asks if we "want the stump ground down".  This means to remove the stump.  He says he asked us that, we don't remember him asking that, so now I have a stump I cannot easily remove.
He does good work, but be very careful about the wording of the estimate.

  • The guys at Aberdeen Outdoor Power Equipment were knowledgable and laid back. They notified me right up front of possible limitations on the repair of my generator ( if the problem was electrical they couldn't fix it ) and the cost of fixing it. They also gave me helpful hints on keeping my generator running. I will be using them again.

  • I submitted a request for an estimate for some landscaping work I needed done. I selected Outdoor Advantage largely because they have the super service award and positive reviews and I thought that would help ensure a quick response. I did get a prompt response to my intial request, an email within a fews hours asking when I was available to following week. I replied within a few hours with my availability but then never heard from them again.

  • I paid for a diagnosis of my poor dying dogwood tree and when the expert got here he found that there were some other roots strangling the tree and just took care of it for us. How nice is that?!
These days with the economy so bad, everyone is trying to nickel and dime you to death, I can't tell you how refreshing and appreciated it was for someone just to handle it because it was the right thing to do.
They were a little hard to reach at first, but don't let that put you off. Once I did get in touch, they were extremely responsive.
They even provided the work first, didn't mind if I was home or not and just sent me the diagnosis and bill to me in the mail after, which totally worked for me (you can be there if you want to). This company is great, they deserve your business.

  • Excellent clean up. Not a branch was left on the ground. Workers were very respectful of property and were very nice. I picked this company because the owner seemed like a very honest man. He is very down to earth and takes pride in his work. Being that I was new to the area he gave me a list of companies that I might be interested in. For example nurseries, local produce and companies who supply stone if I should need any. He didn't have to do that and I thought it was very nice of him to give us this information.
