  • Apex Roofing did an amazing job installing my new roof! Andy took time to go over all of the aspects of the project with me. They were on time, professional, very competitively priced and a pleasure to have working at my house. With ALL of the rain we have had I expected to wait at least 3 weeks for Apex to get to me but they started in 10 days! This was my first new roof and I wasn't looking forward to the project, but Andy and Apex actually made this project enjoyable!

  • I hired this company because of the positive reviews on Angie's List and was not disappointed. This company responded quickly to my questions and scheduled my appointment via email. I must have hit at a busy time since I had to wait 2 to 3 weeks for the next opening; this was not a problem for me. The job was completed quickly and a bill was emailed to me afterwards. A list of potential repairs and future service recommendations was left which was very helpful. I also received an email a few weeks afterwards asking for feedback and making sure I am satisfied with the service provided. I would hire them again.

  • Apex did a terrific job for our family after this year's wind storm. We received a very prompt response after the first attempt to reach them, when other companies didn't return calls. Andy worked closely with our agent to replace the roof within the limits of the insurance policy. The work was excellent, on time and on budget and the shingles and other materials were of the highest quality. The new roof looks great. We couldn't be more pleased.

  • Mike, Gary Jr. and the entire crew did a fantastic job. They were always on time, used tarps to protect the floors, did exceptional work, and always cleaned up before departing for the day. They took their time and did the project correctly and professionally. We will definitely call them again.

  • I called on a Saturday not sure if I would get a response. Well Mr. Patterson answered the phone right away. I explained what I needed done and he said no problem and arrived within the hour. I have a large two story colonial and he did a great job cleaning the gutters. He was very neat and completed the job in under a hour. Mr. Patterson is very kind and professional and I recommend.

  • Our home was one of many impacted by the wind storms in our area this past winter. Andy at Apex was one of the first companies we met. From the start, his professionalism and interest in our family's needs was evident. Andy had folks out immediately to cover and tarp the damaged parts of our roof and siding providing peace of mind that the damage would not spread. He went above and beyond working with our insurance company on our behalf. Andy is extremely timely in his responses to any questions, and the work itself was amazing! The roof was completed in a single day. Our yard and shrubs were treated with care and there was a large effort by Apex to ensure that all debris was cleaned up. We only needed one side of the house's siding replaced due to storm damage so Andy worked with us to match the color of the house. His crew was efficient and quick. During the time that we worked with Andy and Apex we had a baby who had to spend time in the NICU. We were able to focus our energies on our growing family knowing that Apex was taking care of our home. We could not be happier with the experience from start to finish and would recommend Andy and Apex to anyone needing to replace their roof and siding.

  • We had a tree hit our home in the March '18 wind storm. Kevin was instrumental when it came to dealing with our horrible insurance co (Nationwide is NOT on your side!). After three months of him tirelessly working towards a reasonable resolution with the insurance, he was finally able to begin work. Three weeks later my home is back to normal and we couldn't be happier. The workmanship is superb, the guys who did the work (Andy & Doug) were professional, kind and very talented. I highly recommend Taylor Made Contracting and I hope to use them again in the future (hopefully without a tree falling on our house!).

  • Arocon was assigned for our roofing project by Lowe's. We signed the agreement with Lowe's on 4/26/18 and have made two installments to Lowe's since the contract was signed. I spoke with Nancy on 5/7/18 who informed me that the roofing installation was scheduled for 6/26. I was disappointed to hear that we would have to wait 2 months from the date of the contract for the installation, nevertheless, we waited patiently. From May 7th to June 25th, I had no contact with Arocon. On the morning of 6/25, the materials were delivered. At about 11am, I called Arocon and spoke with Nancy, the person who scheduled the job. I was curious about the dumpster for the waste and wondering if they were providing it. It was then that she told me that the materials should not have been delivered and that the job was postponed to a later date TBD. 1. Arocon must have known that they were behind on job sites as soon as the prior week. 2. This job was not just for my roof, but for my neighbors roof as well. Arocon had two different contact information, yet neither my neighbor nor I were informed of the postponement 3. Arocon scheduled this job, it is their responsibility to contact the customers 4. After I had called the morning of 6/25, I was told the job was postponed. That notification is less than 24hrs from the original start day/time 5. Had I not called on 6/25, would we have been notified at all? Would we be left high and dry on the original start date of 6/26? After speaking with Nancy, who promised a call back to my neighbor as well on 6/25, I have had no other productive contact with Arocon to date. I emailed Nancy on 6/26 and did not get a response. On the morning of 6/27, I contacted Arocon to address this matter with upper management. I spoke with a receptionist. She took note of my concerns and told me she would pass along to Mark, a production team manager and owner, who was in a meeting. I gave Mark ample time to respond seeing as the message was left in the morning. I did not get a response at all. Lowe's has since dropped them for my project and gone with a different roofing company who has given us a timeline of two weeks to be onsite. ------- Update 7/11/2018: Below is the response by AROCON to my previous review. While I realize AROCON doesn't want any negative reviews, AROCON should know how their business is conducted in the eyes of customers or potential customers. I'm not here to bash AROCON, but it does seem that their poor reviews have a common thread, which is the lack of communication with customers. I hope that by bringing this to AROCON's attention, they can take steps forward to remedy the problem. "We do apologize for any miscommunication, however, this is not a very accurate portrayal of our company. AROCON is a contractor for Lowe's, and does not have control over when things are sold or gotten over to us for scheduling." FACT: YOU WERE GIVEN THE JOB BY LOWES ON OR ABOUT MAY 4TH. ON MAY 7TH, I RECEIVED AN EMAIL AND A CALL FROM NANCY SCHEDULING THE JOB FOR JUNE 26TH. FACT: AROCON HAS KNOWN ABOUT THIS JOB AND IT WAS ALREADY SCHEDULED 8 WEEKS OUT FROM THE DATE AROCON RECEIVED THE JOB. "... due to the rain and storms we had during the month of June we did need to reschedule this work." FACT: YES THERE WERE RAIN STORMS AND AROCON SHOULD HAVE KNOWN AHEAD OF TIME, AT MINIMUM, THE PREVIOUS WEEK, THAT THEY WERE PUSHING BACK OUR JOB. FACT: NO CALL OR EMAIL TO WAS SENT OUT PRIOR TO THE START DATE OF JUNE 26TH TO RESCHEDULE THE JOB. I ACTUALLY CALLED WITH A QUESTION ON THE AFTERNOON OF THE 25TH, IT WAS THEN I WAS INFORMED THE JOB WAS NOT GOING TO BE PERFORMED AS SCHEDULE, LESS THAN 24HRS BEFORE THE ORIGINAL START DATE/TIME. "During the time that the customer of Lowe's had called us, Lowe's had informed AROCON that they would be using a different contractor for the installation, which is why AROCON did not call back to reschedule." FACT: YES LOWES DID PULL AROCON FROM THE JOB ON OR ABOUT JUNE 28TH. AROCON AND ITS OWNERS HAD 3 FULL BUSINESS DAYS BEFORE THEY WERE PULLED FROM THE JOB TO CONTACT ME TO RESCHEDULE OR APOLOGIZE FOR THE MISCOMMUNICATION. 1 MESSAGE TO NANCY, 1 MESSAGE TO "MARK" (OWNER?) AND 1 EMAIL TO NANCY WENT UNANSWERED FOR 3 DAYS BEFORE LOWES PULLED THEM FROM THE JOB. "We do apologize for any miscommunication or misinformation." FACT: CUSTOMERS WOULD RATHER GET A CALL EVEN IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE ANSWERS RATHER THAN FEEL LIKE BEING LEFT IN THE WIND.

  • I worked with Stephanie from the beginning to the end and she is awesome. Everything was coordinated perfectly and I never had an issue. The Roofers arrived at 8 am and had the old shingles removed, the new shingles installed and was done everything by 3pm and the new roof looks great. This is an excellent company and would highly recommend them

  • I contacted Tom at Krausman Home Improvement to schedule an estimate to replace my deck roof. To my surprise he was able to come out the same day and provide a detailed estimate. The project was quickly scheduled and to my shock completed in one day. I was comfortable with the estimate but for whatever reason envisioned a 3-4 day project. When I got home on Thursday Tom and his assistant Rick were wrapping up the entire project, demo to brand new installation. I was stunned. Not only was the work fantastic but they were extraordinarily detailed oriented. They cleaned up perfectly and matched the other sections of my main roof perfectly (I did not request this). I found a gem. Tom is a skilled craftsmen and all out go-getter! I have several projects that I will use him for in the near future!
