Ron and his assistant, Gregg, were at my site at 7:00 am every morning till the job was complete. They kept me in the loop with the design and suggested changes, at no additional costs to the original estimate. MY wife and I enjoyed the interaction we had with both Ron and Gregg. They completed the project within the time originally stated, and the end result was Excellent. We both love the appearance of the structure, and we have had many positive comments from neighbors passing buy. I would definitely use Ron Ducote Construction again...excellent workmanship.

    Bring It On Home Construction
Matthew helped install siding, storm door, lights/fans, cabinets, and enclosed our steps. He was very professional and thorough. Any questions we had he educated us along the way. His prices were great and we have used him for multiple projects. We even left him to work alone when we could be there for the entire job. I recommend giving him an opportunity to help you out!

    Perryhall Remodeling
The project was supposed to start in the November/December time range, however due to Gary's schedule as well as a personal conflict on our end, we agreed to start at the beginning of January 2016.  That week after the new year, Gary's crew of Steve and Mike arrived and unloaded materials as well as reviewed the work to be done.  The original quote
covered labor and some basic materials (paint, drywall, etc)  We wanted our basement to match our house, so we picked out the exterior door (basement service door, original was rotting/leaking) and interior doors.  I was able to personally obtain these items, and that cost was not included in the quote, which worked out just fine.  Steve and Mike were very professional, on time, and filled us in on the project as it progressed.  My selection of interior doors hit a few delivery snags, however the crew was able to continue working on other tasks until I finally got the right doors.  My wife and I were much appreciative of Gary and team's patience to ensure our basement met our expectations.  Overall, everything came out great and the doors/hardware match our house.  The details make the difference, and Perryhall worked to get them right.
Another part of the project included us wanting a basement drybar and half bathroom.  We worked with a vendor recommended by Perryhall and ordered custom cabinetry for the vanity and bar.  Steve and Mike installed the cabinets and fit them for our space.  A miscommunication for the vanity depth by me and the vendor resulted in some extra work on Steve's end, but he made them all fit properly and function as intended.
Steve also performed the sanding and painting on the drywall.  We picked the colors and he painted them to our specifications.  He did a great job of thoroughly sanding and ensuring a good finish.  He was very particular and obviously took pride in his work.  This was also evident in that he came over on weekends as needed to touch up, install, re-sand, etc parts of the basement that needed further attention.  We asked for some wordwork along our stairway, and he went above and beyond by routing out the trim piece to give a little more definition.
Overall, things came out great, the billing was on point for the work provided, and there was good communication along the way.  This particular project can be frustrating for the contractor as I (the customer) was taking responsibility for obtaining several specific parts.  I'm not a pro, and thus there were errors on my part along the way regarding measurements and specifics, but Perryhall worked through it and made everything come together.  I can't ask for anything more, and our finished basement is an area of our house we look forward to enjoying for many years.

    Perryhall Remodeling
I had compiled a list of projects we were considering having done to improve our home which was built in 1986.  After doing a great deal of research, we decided on Perryhall Remodeling, based on the number of positive reviews reported on Angie's List.  I contacted the Company by phone and explained a little bit about what improvements we were looking to have done to our 28 year old home and asked that the owner return the call.  I received a call back from Gary Howard, Sr., the owner of the company, within 24 hours and we arranged a meeting at our home two days later.  Gary Howard, Sr. and his brother Tim Howard arrived on time and we got down to business.  Gary, Sr and Tim were very friendly and professional as we discussed the work we were considering.  Gary and I walked through the inside and outside of the house as I explained what we needed.  Gary was very attentive, and took notes and asked questions and made professional suggestions as we walked.  The most urgent projects included replacing 3 skylights which had been leaking for sometime and repair to the surrounding drywall, which had been severely damaged.  We needed two new patio doors along with the restoration of two decks, plus power washing of the entire house.  I wanted floor tile installed in the  powder room and master bath.  I also wanted the gutters in the front and back of the house cleaned out and gutter guards installed throughout.  I needed something done with the downspout next to the porch that was allowing water to damage the side of the porch, plus the replacement of 3 ceiling fans, the weatherproofing of the front door and the shaving of the bottom of an interior door that was scraping the floor plus replacing the door bell ringer.
We agreed on a price, and I signed off on a written contract.
Gary, Sr. was worried about the weather and wanted to get started on the outside work as soon as possible. I, of course, agreed and the skylight project started within a week.  Gary, Tim and the work crew arrived bright and early on the agreed upon date to install the skylights and service the roof.   Gary had upgraded the skylights he purchased for us without additional charge.   He was very concerned that we never experience the water leakage we had experienced with the old skylights.
(I found a repeat of this kind of thoughtfulness throughout our working relationship.  Just a few examples would include the following:  When two pieces of damaged siding previously hidden behind the old deck boards, was now revealed, Gary, Sr. replaced the siding with undamaged pieces of siding we had saved, at no charge.  He had his team install three ceiling fans for us at no charge.  He purchased and installed a door bell ringer at no charge and Gary, Jr. replaced our flood lights for us at no charge).
Now back to the skylight project:  The 3 Skylights were installed without a problem and they looked amazing from the street and from inside the house.  No more leaks!!!   At the same time that the Skylight were being installed, Gary and his son, Gary, Jr., walked the entire roof and found there were some imperfections in the previous re-construction of the chimney.  They recommended a reconstruct upgrade to the chimney with new plywood and aluminum.  I agreed to the improvements, because we had problems in the past with water leakage from that chimney.  Since this remodel of the chimney, I have not had any further problems with water leakage.
Gary, Jr. also worked on the redirecting of the downspout away from the front porch. This downspout was directing rain water too close to the house which resulted in an incredible amount of damage to the side of the front porch.  To fix the problem, Gary, Jr. cut off the downspout just directly about the porch roof gutter, resulting in a direct feed into this gutter which eliminated direct water damage to the side of the porch.  (How simple a fix and how Genius!! - Thanks Gary, Sr. for the solution)   The damaged cement was cleaned up and new cement was pored to protect the side porch in the future.
The next major outside project was the restoration of two (2) decks.  My husband and I had not taken the best of care of the original decks, and this resulted in a lot of damage to the wood. Gary, Sr. recommended that we forgo the power washing of these decks because of the poor condition of the deck boards.  Instead the deck boards would  be replaced with pressure treated decking and the railing be replaced with white vinyl railings.  He told us that the decks foundations appeared to be undamaged and did not need to be replaced.
A four man crew got to work with the demolition and rebuild of the two decks.  The finished decks are beautiful!  The workmanship is impressive!  I get compliments on these decks all the time.
Kudos to the Team!  Thank you Mike, Josh, Bill and Gary, Jr.

Next on the project check off list was the repair to all drywall that was damaged by the water leakage from the 3 old skylights. The walls that were water damaged included the front entry foyer walls and ceiling, the 3 skylight wells including the master bathroom ceiling, front hallway ceiling and additional patching throughout.  Followed by 2 coats of paint.  Again, an excellent job!!
During this same time the entire house was power washed and the gutters and downspouts were cleaned out, in preparation for gutter guards to be installed.
Once the gutters were cleaned, Gary Howard, Sr. and his brother Tim Howard arrived a few days later to personally install the gutter guards.  A few more leaves had to be removed from the gutters first.  Gary recommended that the gutters at the top of the house, front and back should have new white aluminum flashing installed under the roof into gutters along with new spikes in the back and front of the house before the guards were installed.  The lower gutters did not need the flashing and new spikes.  I agreed to the improvement and he did the work.  After the flashing and spikes were installed, gutter guards were installed throughout.  (Another job well done!)
(I just wanted to mention that Gary, Sr. has excellent communication skills.  He stops over at least a few times a week to touch base and review the project in progress.  He has kept us updated as to the timetable of our projects so we know what to expect.  We have appreciated this communication.)
Next up was the renovation of the Powder Room.  I had originally thought that I would like to have floor tile installed,  although I was worried about the condition of the floor.  It seemed very soft and uneven and I was worried about the tile breaking later.  Gary, Sr. and I discussed the situation and he agreed that the floor should be stabilized before the tile was installed. I decided I would also like to have the existing wallpaper removed, the walls repaired and painted and  the vanity sink and toilet replaced.  I refinished the old vanity myself and it turned out great.  Our contract was updated and the work began.  Once the sub-floor was upgraded, the floor was as solid as a rock. The "A" team worked on this project and did an another amazing job!  We love it!!
Next we're moving right along with the repair and replacement of damaged drywall in the kitchen/family room walls and ceilings plus patchwork throughout the rooms as needed.  Followed by 2 coats of paint.  We had quite a bit of damage caused over the years from water leakage from the Master bathroom which is located directly above the kitchen/family room area.  The drywall was expertly repaired and a large section needed to be replaced.  Once it was painted, you would never know any of the repairs were done.  This was very recently finished, just in time to have the new French Doors installed.  What an incredible job this team has done again!!  Now I have to decide what window treatment to use on our new doors.  Decisions! Decisions!
Now we come to the final and most sensational project.  As I mentioned, we had experienced a lot of water leakage from the Master bathroom over the years.  Each time we would have the problem fixed, but it would reoccur over and over.  Never did we realize that the sub floor in the master bathroom was deteriorating over the years, but we sure found out when  work began on upgrading the floor in the master bathroom for the installing of floor tile.  The Team had begun to remove the existing floor covering to begin the upgrade of the sub floor. Gary, Sr. arrived unexpectedly and went immediately to the master bathroom.  When he called me up, I knew something had to be wrong.  The floor in the shower/toilet area had rotted floor and joists throughout.  It was even wet in places.  We decided to completely gut the master bathroom and completely redesign.  Gary, Sr. gave me an amazing price and everyone went to work.  I decided to remove the bathtub which had not be used in years and we expand the size of the shower area and removed the old single vanity and replaced it with a new double vanity.  Everything in the room is new.  I bought an executive shower unit with an amazing shower door and hardware.  A new toilet, double vanity, double vanity sinks, mirrors, vanity lights and the entire floor is now tiled.  New plumbing and electrical was installed and new drywall installed to frame the shower unit.  Everything is new and expertly installed - it is stunning!!!
I would give Gary Howard, Sr. and his highly skilled and professional team an A+ in all categories if that rating were available.  I could not be any happier with the quality of the work that has been performed in my home.  I would highly recommend Gary Howard, Sr. and Perryhall Remodeling to all of my friends and neighbors. Because of the outstanding service I have received, I would also like to nominate Perryhall Remodeling for the Angie's list "Page of Happiness".

It was an experience I expect. They were very knowledgeable. They were very helpful. It was great. They were on time, and everything turned out great. The price included the padding. They put the shed on. They did a frame and put stone down, and then stuck the shed on top of that. I think it was good customer service. They were knowledgeable about what they are doing and what they are selling. They were informative. The quality is excellent. I would use them again if I was buying another shed.

    David Rutch's Precision Remodeling Inc
TThis is the second project we have completed with David Rutch?s Precision Remodeling. The first project was smaller
in scope and consisted of replacing our front door, rear patio slider, repairing some interior drywall work, and adding crown molding.  This more recent project was much larger in terms of work and cost. For this project, we built an addition over our garage consisting of a master bedroom, master bath with custom shower and clawfoot tub, and custom walk-in closet. Precision Remodeling also replaced all of our home?s windows (15), siding, and the posts and rails for our front porch. While we were familiar and quite happy with Precision?s work, we did the due diligence of getting two other bids. Precision?s bid was the most accurate and fair (one was under bidding to get the job and the other required significant money for the design alone). We went with Precision and were exceptionally pleased with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the crew and subcontractors. We have listed some of the Benefits and some of the Opportunity areas of working with Precision Remodeling below:
    1. We are delighted with the end result?including the sturdy structure, incredible vaulted ceiling, the gorgeous tile and granite in the bath, the plumbing fixtures (clawfoot tub), plush carpet, and the custom shelves built for the walk-in closet.
    2. Precision Remodeling has very high standards with regard to its employees in terms of knowledge and professionalism. For instance, the entire crew wears uniforms, removes their shoes (when possible) or covers them with booties upon entering the home, and cleans up their workspace at the end of each day. They take great pride in their professionalism and it shows.
3.David and his crew excel at communicating and responding to customers in a prompt manner.  I know this may sound minor, but when you are spending a lot of money on a home remodel it makes a huge difference whether or
not you can reach your contractor when you need him.
    4. Precision has very close ties with its subcontractors and they provide amazing service and are incredibly responsive.
5.The exterior crews (led by Jeremy) are consummate professionals when it comes to meeting and exceeding building
codes while making the outside of your home beautiful. They have many, many years of building experience and you can see it in their work. For example, they were not satisfied with the framing of our addition until everything was perfectly level and braced to meet standards that exceed those required by the state of Maryland. I have hurricane clips, which are not required in Maryland, on my addition because that is their standard.
    6. The interior crews (led by Pat) truly excel at the fine touches that make any job (regardless of size or money spent
on materials) look custom. For example, my wife loved the tiling work that was done in the bathroom but the color of just one particular tile bothered her. Without a moment?s hesitation, and despite the fact that it created re-work for them
(especially so due to the installation of a heating mat), Pat and his crew removed the offending tile and replaced it with another.
1.The start date and completion date for the project got pushed several weeks due to the sheer volume of business
Precision is experiencing right now. They are a high-quality contractor and much in demand. This delay caused
some changes to the schedule and a good amount of juggling for the family.
2.There were some design elements that probably should have been discussed before work began that required some
fairly intensive on-the-spot trouble-shooting and redesign (bathroom layout, required egress, and the centering of the vaulted ceiling).
    3. Some of the cost overruns could have been forecast into the original quote (e.g., additional carpeting for a closet that was moved, fire-rated drywall, etc.) or an alternate material chosen if the cost differential was caught in time (e.g., the tile chosen for
the bathroom was not in budget but ordered). Having said that, decisions made by the homeowners (e.g., keeping the more expensive tile, vaulting the bedroom ceiling) affected the cost. Overall, the project went 12% over budget. Of that,
    9% was homeowner-driven.
Overall, I highly recommend David Rutch?s Precision Remodeling and will definitely use their services in the future. The challenges and opportunity areas we encountered during this major remodel WOULD be found with any general contractor. The strengths that set Precision Remodeling apart, though, are the quality, customer service, and professionalism they bring to your project. These are qualities you find with Precision Remodeling that you WOULD NOT find with just any contractor.

    Clarksville Construction Services, Inc.
As with any project there were hiccups along the way.  The wrong siding was ordered and partially installed before we came home and saw the error. The problem was corrected to our satisfaction and the correct siding was installed.  The project manager and the company owner were extremely accommodating and were anxious to make sure that we were happy with the final project result.  Subcontractors were utilized and all were extremely professional, very capable in their specific crafts, and easy to work with.

    Perryhall Remodeling
Perrryhall Remodeling did a great job converting an area of our home, which was used as an office when our home served as a model for the developer, to a garage. Their prices were very affordable. The quality of their work was excellent. And they finished their work in the amount of time estimated. Their work involved eliminating interior walls, performing dry wall patch work, framing the openings for the garage doors, performing, via a contractor, electrical services such as lighting modifications. When an issue arose with the company that installed the garage doors about which company was responsible for finishing the outside of the door frames, Perryhall stepped up and cut the price estimated by the garage door company in half and completed the work in a very timely manner. The end product of their work looks great! I would highly recommend them to others interested in remodeling their home.
