Drywall Repair reviews in Arnold

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • We highly recommend Archangel Remodeling for their high degree of professionalism and superior quality of work. Steven spent a generous amount of time to help us sort out the many options of tile, hardware and vanities available and guided us in converting our vision into reality. Ryan was a superb craftsman who paid close attention to detail and solved each problem that came up with ingenuity and clever design solutions. We were very happy with their work and will call on them again for other projects.

  • Fine. There were a couple of places next to the fireplace that required some touch-up painting which I did after the job was completed, Some places on the edge of the enclosure where the AC duct is located have shown areas where additional paint is needed to cover up the edges. The workers who did the job were very professional and hard-working.

  • I couldn't be happier with the professionalism and skill of the gentleman who did the repairs in my house. His skill level couldn't be higher, for example, the foil-backed insulation in my basement had holes and tears throughout it. He managed to replace and patch it so well that you wouldn't know it wasn't a new, full panel. He figured out where the water leak in my kitchen ceiling was coming from, without cutting holes throughout my ceiling, as another company wanted to do. I highly recommend this company.

    1. We were very pleased all the way around. Friendly, courteous workers arrived each morning for 11 consecutive days. Generally the work went from 8 am to 7pm. This pleased us because it allowed the job to be completed quickly.  Misha checked in daily and was very willing to add anything we requested. Also, Misha made a lot of very good suggestions. Our bathroom was gutted,  drywall was replaced, tiled walls, tiled floors, tiled tub enclosure, new tub, new toilet, new vanity , vanity lighting, new vent and heat lamp were all installed  in a very professional way. In the midst of all of this the snowstorm of 2016, came into our attic causing dripping into our bedroom. No problem- Misha,s company was there and willing to repair our ceiling on the spot.  Our new bathroom really is beautiful! This  is such a wonderful company- without a doubt we would ask them into our home again.

  • I first met Steve Reitz, owner of Shoreline Remodeling, while he was employed with another construction firm.  My first impression of Steve was that he paid extremely close attention to detail, in fact, I'd go as far as to say that Steve is a bit of a perfectionist.  He's not happy until his work is perfect especially when he's putting his reputation on the line.  It's been my experience that Steve's prices have always been more than fair.  Steve became dissatisfied with his previous employer and decided that he wasn't going to work for someone who cut corners and it seems to me that he quickly discovered that the only way to do that was to go out on his own.  I can speak to the quality of his work and his dedication to getting the job done right.  I've used Shoreline now for more than a few jobs, mostly to correct the issues that his previous employer did incorrectly.  If you have a need for a good contractor who is always up front, honest, punctual, and provides service at a reasonable cost.  I encourage you to seek him out for a quote.  For what it's worth, Steve is the only contractor that I would trust to work in my home without me being present.  I trust him completely.  To date, Shoreline Remodeling has:
    hung cabinets in my kitchen
    added lighting to my attic
completed custom cabinetry and "built-in" bookshelves around my fireplace
built custom "built-in" bookshelves in my child's room
    added insulation to my attic
installed a new sump pump in my crawl space
added insulation around my chimney and underneath my wood flooring to fully winterize my home
run wiring under the floor and through the wall in my office
added outlets in the floor of my living room and office
installed ventilation fans/ducts for bathrooms and run vent hood duct work to the exterior of the house
mounted a television on my office wall
    installed ceiling fans
repaired door swing on perimeter doors to winterize the house
...and these are only the items that I can remember.  The average cost for each of these jobs was less than $500 with materials, some were higher, some were lower depending on the complexity of each.
If you're really busy like I am and keep saying, "I'll get to it next weekend" and never seem to have the time to do it much less, the time to get to it, and then get it wrong and have to go back and do it again, I can't recommend Shoreline enough.  This is the best compliment that I can give Steve and his company.  Saying thank you is good but paying it forward is much better, I think.

  • Jimmy was phenomenal.  He called ahead as asked, he did a fantastic job sanding and painting nearly the entire kitchen, and painted the baseboards, chair molding and trim, and even quoted me a great rate on an extra small task (caulking in the bathroom).  I am very pleased with his level of work, and when I left him the key and combo, he made sure everything was tidy and clean.  Thank you for a  job well done, and I would not hesitate to hire this company again!

  • Dave and Jeff from All Good Home installed a complete new HVAC system for us including all new copper lines. They did a wonderful job! It was necessary to cut holes in the ceiling of our laundry room and family room in order to replace the old copper lines which were too small for the new unit. All holes were repaired and drywalled and the entire ceiling was painted with two coats of white paint. It is now impossible to tell where the holes were cut. The all inclusive price for the work we had done was $8700. While it may not have been the least expensive estimate we received, I firmly believe that you get what you pay for. That was certainly the case in this instance. As an added bonus, communication with All Good Home was always "instant". Emails were returned almost immediately and Dave always answered his own phone. No need to leave a message. That is really rare these days. I will not hesitate to contact All Good Home for future projects.

  • There was caulking out here and there were two skylights. He was supposed to be repairing the drywall around them. He started one and rather than putting up the drywall repair stuff and going to the next one while the first one dried. He stood on top of the ladder using a hairdryer to make it dry faster. He used his time so inefficiently. In order to get them both finished, I had to pay him extra and that should not have been the case. The work he did was okay. He did a decent job, but if you sign up to sell a Deal. You sell a Deal. The deal was supposed to be for three hours and I ended up paying him for five hours. It was supposed to be a Deal, but it was not a Deal.

  • Harley arrived right on time, ready to do what ever needed to be done to make my house ready to put on the market for sale.  He repaired water damage in the ceiling and walls, spackled, and repainted.  The room looks like new.  He also regrouted tiles in two bathrooms.  He walked through the house with me and pointed out anything he thought could be done and completed to help pass inspection.  He was amazing!!!  He worked solidly for 5 hours and completed more than I had imagined he could.  I used an Angie's list coupon from the company site.  I was really happy with the responsiveness of this company and the high quality of work and professionalism.

  • Matthew the owner was great! He gave a thorough bid with multiple pricing options, depending on how much we wanted done...ie, drywall repair, wallpaper removal, wall paint, ceiling paint, etc. he gave us estimates of how long it would take to complete each phase too. The team was on time, they kept the area sealed off so we didn't have drywall dust everywhere, and cleaned everything well after the job was complete. Best of all, my walls looked great. I'm not sure I've dealt with a more professional contractor. I'd use them anytime.
