    We recently bought interior shutters from Budget Blinds for the living room and master bedroom of our new villa in Heritage Harbor. We are incredibly happy with their purchase; the shutters are gorgeous and were quickly and skillfully installed over their existing window space ��� a perfect fit! We worked with Patrick, who came to the house to measure the space and present them with treatment options, and Jeff, who handled the installation ��� both very friendly and knowledgeable. We had similar shutters installed in their previous residence by a different company, and we were impressed with how different the shutters from Budget Blinds are. The shutters we bought for our previous residence were made of a plastic material that felt surprisingly lightweight ��� whenever they would open and close the shutters, it felt like they were about to break ��� and it took a crew of workers several hours to install them. The shutters they purchased from Budget Blinds are made of wood that feels much sturdier when opening and closing, and the whole installation process took about an hour. Also Budget Blinds was able to install the shutters a week and a half ahead of schedule. We have already decided to use Budget Blinds again, this time for a curtain to go with the French door in our second bedroom.

    I was very impressed by everything. The salesperson was punctual, efficient, and helpful without being pushy. She did not try to "up-sell" us on more expensive blinds, but went what we wanted and offered helpful suggestions when we asked. They offer the full range from very cheap to very expensive blinds and shades, so you have every option to choose from. We went with nice aluminum blinds, more towards the cheaper end. The installer came with our custom-cut blinds the next afternoon and did everything in less than two hours. One of the blinds they sent us was messed up somehow, so he put a temporary shade on that window and scheduled an appointment to come back and fix that one. This was a great experience from sales to install and I would recommend this local company to anyone that needs new window coverings.

    Cliff reviewed the list, completing all except the screens since it would not be a simple task (it was retractable).  His use of time, and what could be doable in the two hours allotted, impressed me the most.  His no-nonsense style and solid work (blinds were perfect even including fitting the valences) makes me consider future work with the company and, if possible, have Cliff to return for the screen installation. Another perk was an effortless cleanup. You'd never know he'd been there save for the work done.  For the money, I got the best bang for the buck!

    Different tech than I had first time. Arrived on time and I felt comfortable going back to work. He used my priority list and worked thru a whole day. Only one bank of hooks came loose. All rest done to my expectation. Did not upset my cat. Can give honest and positive recommendation

    Great communication in advance about prioritizing a list, which materials would be provided, etc.  Very polite handyman arrived on time (as I had left work to meet) and worked with a loose cat by himself all day).  All the tasks he completed were listed and comments on providing the proper wattage light bulb, etc noted.  He also estimated time required for additional work and quoted a separate time expected for painting a room and a half.  Very pleased with gluing ceramics and the quality of mounting a tool rack and a holder for a half dozen mops and brooms.  Rooms spotless on completion.

    We bought a home in need of window coverings on all of the windows. The windows are not standard sizes and we needed professional advice and guidance as how to best enhance each window, whilst complementing the decor and providing privacy. Beth was an excellent advisor, knowedgeable about the product and quite patient with our indecisiveness.
    The shades were delivered on time and installed beautifully, without incident.
    All in all, we are quite pleased with the window shades.

    From the very start to the very end my experience with Unicorp could not have gone any better.  If your looking for a company that truly cares about its customers, look no further.
    I have hired other contractor over the years but I can say this company delivered at every turn.  This was a large project for me and was somewhat nervous considering  the difficulty since my home was not built from the start with the best of materials.  Unicorp's staff of siding professionals were able to not just make my home look great but took care of some long standing issues that existed.  I love our new entry door, I chose the ProVia Signet series doors that look and feel just like wood and went with Unicorp's own Signature sliding glass door with internal mini blinds. Once again the installation was second to none and when they left my home it was cleaner than when they arrived. 
    I investigated this company quite throughly before hiring them, as I said this was a lot of money for me but I can honestly say I got more than my monies worth. My thanks to JR Burger one of two project supervisors that over saw every step of the job as well as Megan for keeping me informed throughout the project. 
    If you want to avoid the hard sell tactics and hire a well tuned machine, they deliver.

    Beth was professional, punctual and extremely helpful. She understood that her taste might not be ours and she listened to what we wanted to help make suggestions. She took the measurements herself during our first appointment and this saved us time in not having to have the installer come out to measure at a separate appointment. She had a WIDE array of options for us, but after listening to our needs/ wants, she was able to come up with suggestions we loved in just minutes. She also provided us the website www.houzz.com to take a look at work she had done for others to familiarize ourselves with some of the types of window treatments. That was extremely helpful and it made our meeting very efficient.
    Beth is very pleasant to work with and her years of experience show through from the moment you first speak to her. I would use her again in a heartbeat.
    By the way, I made all the decisions without my husband being present and he LOVED everything. This means that when I communicated our needs to Beth, she really understood what I was saying. I can say this likely due to her years and years in the business, her being a great listener and her putting our wants above her personal tastes. She was also very honest about pricing and how things would actually look, meaning outside a magazine photo, how fabrics would actually lay and how easy they would be to draw back to open up the windows. It was fascinating and of course, so very helpful. I can't say enough great things about Beth.Our installer was Tom. He was fantastic, removing boxes as he was done with them to clear space and doing the installation in order of convenience for us. He had to make some adjustments on the bathroom blinds, but we understood why and appreciated his thinking thru the potential issue (door to closet not opening) and fixing it for us as best he could. I was incredibly impressed by him.

    Beth McFeely and her team did an absolutely beautiful job in realizing my vision for a custom window treatment and matching chair seat skirt for my home office. Beth met with me and came prepared with photos based on our phone discussions. Because I changed which chair I was using, we had to figure out a special way to make the skirt fit over the back and she spent extra time thinking it through with me. She met the deadlines, worked with my budget, and just had a lovely approach and attitude. I am so happy with the results and with the installation process and would definitely use McFeely Window Fashions for any future custom work.

    I contacted the company on 6/25/13 to schedule an appointment for measuring and was given 6/26/13 @ 2:00 pm.  I was told I would get an email later that day to confirm the appointment.  I did not get an email but rather a gentleman called and inquired if it was a rental property to which I responded no, it's a beach home.  He said they customarily check ownership records and the name of the owner was other than mine.  I explained the person he quoted was the co-owner and we're actually renovating the home and wanted window treatments.  He seemed fine with the explanation.
    I just happened to call on 6/26/13 before heading to the home (the home is in Annapolis and I live and work in DC) to confirm my appointment.  The person (the same lady I spoke with the first day) asked if both me and Michele were going to be there or was there another time that we both could be there.  I told her that someone called me the day before and I explained that I would be the only one there and he seemed okay with it.  She said she wasn't aware that anyone had called and would go ahead and confirm the appointment.  About 10 minutes later she called to inform me that she could not authorize confirmation of the appointment.
    If their policy is to have ALL owners present during a consultation then that's fine but what irritates me the most is if I had not called then I would have made the trip to Annapolis for no reason in near 90 degree weather.  I own a property management firm and I'm sure they have a valid reason for making sure they are dealing with the owner but I suppose our society has come to the point where everyone is so afraid of being sued that they make doing business inconvenient for the customer.  Go figure.
