    The pressure wash went fine and when the boat was clean and ready to relaunch one of the service techs working on the boat noticed that my set screw was missing from the prop and said that he was going to run up to the parts office to get another and it would only take a couple of minutes. Instead of the tech returning to install the screw the owner and manager, M Lostrom came down from her office to tell me that her tech didn't have time to install the screw. I said I could do it but wasn't permitted to. She instructed her crew to block my boat up in yard storage until the following week against my will. I informed her that she had no right to impound my boat on Friday before Memorial Day weekend to which she said the boat had been discovered unsafe as a result of the pressure washing and they were refusing to relaunch. Being an attorney, this did not sit well with me, especially since I knew that the prop could only come off in reverse without the screw, not forward. I actually had to take out my phone in from of the manager and advise her that if the boat was not relaunched immediately that I was going to file a criminal complaint against the owner of Scandia for theft of my vessel and false imprisonment as I was trapped at Whitehall Marina with no way to get home. Only the threat of a criminal complaint prompted her to do the right thing and install the screw and relaunch the boat. I have no doubt that the owner was trying to hit me for several days of yard storage that I didn't need all over a set screw. Worst customer service that I have experienced anywhere and would not recommend you take your boat there for service. Very concerned about the management's "forced nature" of telling you what is going to happen to the boat against your will and that the manager would even think they have a right to keep your boat under those circumstances.

    Wow. Where do I begin. Absolutely incoherent and unprofessional communication, often making things up as they go back and forth between people you talk to. I wish I had never been to this place. Check their name online... I am not the only one. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Was treated rudely, their work was late, poorly communicated, and I (the customer) was always blamed for random, incoherent things(??) Very frustrating. STAY AWAY.

    They are very good. I meant to write them and tell them how good they've done. I just found them in the phone book at the time. I am used to getting taxis up in Baltimore and this is the best service that I have ever had. Every time I come home from the supermarket the gentleman comes running around to help carry the bags to the door. They have been very good since I stopped driving about a year ago. I have been using them now exclusively. The meter starts out at $2 and I basically don't go real far. I guess if you had to go out of town it would be quite pricey, but that's with any taxi service. They are prompt. When he says a cab will be there in 10 minutes, it will be there in 10 minutes. All of their drivers are courteous, friendly and the cabs are clean. They take my packages right to the door. The price is regulated by the City of Annapolis so it is average, I guess. They go out of their way and are very punctual. I will be using their services again tomorrow.

    Fantastic. I was referred to this company and before I signed the contract, we checked four previous jobs (spoke with the individuals and went to their residences). Obviously the reviews were favorable -- but more importantly was that all four parties said only fantastic things about B&W to include quality and value of the work. We searched no more and did not regret it. This was the one major project that had to happen in our house when we moved in and we were obviously concerned with who we chose. We have been more than pleased. Steve Batze, the owner, is concerned, decent, rational, fair, smart and easy to work with. BTW -- was everything perfect? No, but then for those few items, Steve readily ensures they meet the customer's standards. We now have a magnificent pier/landing (on Broad Creek in Annapolis) decked with ipe (absolutely worth the additional cost in the short AND long run), superb boat and jet ski lift (by Tidetamer), a bulkhead that we won't have to worry about for decades, and beautiful, quality workmanship. Oh -- and Steve's crew is exceptional: punctual, hard-working, polite, disciplined. Steve also recommended a permit guy who worked out very well. Timing. B&W is exceptionally busy. I started my coordination in May 2015. My deadline for completion was April 2016. It was tight, but it happened. The permit process alone takes three months. The majority of the work at the house took about two weeks. All the other odds and ends (lifts, etc.) dragged things out another week or so. If you want quality waterfront work at a reasonable price I ABSOLUTELY recommend B&W.

    This contractor was called in because the one we first retained with contract could not do the job when the permit
    was finally issued. They recommended B&S Marine because they have worked together for years. We had no problem letting B&S do the job once we met the owner, Drew Schmitt.
    Once B&S inspected our pier they scheduled his barge to be on the job within 2 days. And they showed up as promised and did a wonderful job. I was present for most of the work. They are professional and experienced. All of the pilings, stingers and decking was 1st class material. All of the old pilings and decking materials were hauled away by B&S. Their copper caps on the pilings are custom done, one at a time for each particular piling. The job went very smoothly. And I would recommend this company to anyone.

    This is my third time working with Creations by Taylor and I am sure it won't be my last.  I am very happy with the truly professional service I received, on a Saturday, with delivery and custom installation. 
    First they did some zippered chair seat cushions for me that I love.  Finally those hard kitchen chairs are comfortable.  Then they did a small side chair in a precisely symmetric fabric that looks as good underneath as it does on top of the seat.  Then I had five custom-upholstered wall panels made with a plywood back, and the carpenter worked with the upholsterers to get the sizing just right for the custom trim work that frames the panels.  There was a little miscommunication at the shop between master and apprentice and the batting/padding didn't wrap all the way around behind the panel (fabric did, but not the batting).  It meant they were just a little too narrow to fit the opening.  You don't know how good a business is until there's a problem, and I found out these folks are very good.  Barry, the owner, came out on a Saturday to inspect the problem and understood right away what had gone wrong (the panels were too lose and wouldn't fit in the custom moldings made for them).  He took the panels with him and ten days later they were repaired.  He brought them to my home, with his helpful wife on a Saturday after shop hours when they were headed to a social event.  There were still a couple of fit issues but frankly, they were very hard to see and only a perfectionist would have noticed.  Barry is that perfectionist.  He took the panel in question down the two flights of stairs to his van, unstapled it, added more material in the right place and put it all back together carefully, even though he was on a personal deadline.  It looked exactly right when it was installed again.  The panels themselves have the floral patterned fabric all in the same place as you look across the five of them together.  Everything is precise and where it should be, despite the fabric being a large-scale radially asymmetric print.  This is an excellent group of professionals and you can trust them with your most particular project and expensive fabric.  I am impressed that Barry and staff clearly care so much about doing the job right.

    Crew did a fantastic job of compounding and waxing neglected deck areas.  Gel coat spot repairs were beyond my expectations...showed real skill and artistry.  Will use again. Update: SEE ABOVE

    I made the reservation on November 26th; the event was not till the 13th of February. They were supposed to pick me up at hotel to take me to the opera. The time came to pick me up and nobody showed up. I called them back and they said they did not have a cab available. Earlier in the day, I called to make sure everything was good, and they said it would not be a problem, and that they had my reservation. I called multiple times throughout the ordeal, and they kept giving me the run around. Every time I called they had a story as to why the cab was late or not able to show up. I was not able to make it to the event. I’m extremely upset considering the tickets were $400, and the hotel was another $500. Because of this company, I was not able to go to the event and am out $900.

    The car is clean, there are beverages awaiting for you in the car, the drivers are prompt, and the line of communication before, during and after services are simply great.  Xquisite Transportation is definitely top notch when it comes to our ground transportation needs.  I would gladly recommend their services to anyone!!

    I found The Franklin Chauffeur on Angie's List the very day I needed a ride to the airport.  I called the number and Linda answered, took my information and request, and was able to fit me in her schedule.  She arrived at my house promptly, greeted me professionally, loaded me and my bags into her spotless SUV, and drove me to the airport in a smooth, safe and competent manner.  Typically I drive myself, park in a garage, haul my bags onto the shuttle, pay dearly day by day for my car to be in the garage -- why do all that when The Franklin Chauffeur (aka in my house "Linda's Limousine") can make the process so easy and seamless and reasonable!?!
