Pediatric Care reviews in Annapolis

It’s a group of pediatrician so getting an appointment is generally really easy. We generally see the nurse practitioner, Amy and she’s really fantastic with the kids. Basically, everybody we’ve seen there has been really, really good with the kids. They don’t talk down to them. They talk to them and ask them how they feel today and they explain to them what they are going to do before they do it and so the kids are relaxed and understand what’s happening. These guys are really good. They really try to make the visit about the kids.

Overall it was fine. Nothing to write home about but nothing bad either. Wait time was reasonable, dr listened and answered questions. Nurse was very sweet. Office felt older and a worn in - not dirty just has seen a lot of patients over years.

I started going to Annapolis Pediatrics as soon as my daughter was born. At first we mainly saw Dr. Hill and Dr. Parmele, but have started to see other doctors and Registered Nurse Practitioners as well. No complaints.
I have never had a long wait there - they have been on time for my appointment or within 10 minutes. The Annapolis office also offers walk-in hours from 7.30a - 830a M-F for quick sick visits which has been a tremendous help with a busy schedule.
Annapolis Pediatrics has offices all around the Annapolis area which makes them convenient. I normally go to the Annapolis office, but have been to the Waugh Chapel office once, on a Saturday, when my daughter was sick (I was seen same-day).
The staff is always very friendly with me and my daughter. They listen to all of my concerns and answer all of my questions. I have also used their nurse line (both during and after hours) for advice. Your call is returned promptly with these lines.
I have no reason to leave this practice.

We were able to make an appointment for the morning when I called the night before. The office staff was very friendly, competent and knowledgeable as always. We didn't have to wait long for the nurse to call us back. The nurse was friendly and good with my toddler. She weighed my child then took her temperature and less than 5 min later the nurse practitioner came back. After looking over my toddler and asking me questions she determined that nothing was wrong except a cold and maybe a new tooth. We love this practice.

We made our appointment with Dr. Valory Hill. She was very thorough with both of the kids, talking to them as well as me. I loved her comforting and gentle bedside manner and the kids responded so well to Dr. Hill. The nurses and office staff were also fantastic and did a great job of administering shots, etc. I had friends who use this practice, but with other doctors, and everyone seems to love their pediatrician, regardless of who it is. We will definitely use Dr. Hill when we have a choice, but feel totally comfortable with any doctor we are assigned, since they seem to all love what they do. Highly recommended.

We recently moved to the area and finding a pediatrician was top on the list of priorities. We decided on Annapolis Pediatrics due to their convenient hours and multiple locations. We've been to the practice (Waugh Chapel location) probably 5 or 6 times now and each time I've been so pleased with the service. I'm used to camping out on the phone to make an appointment and hoping to be seen on the same day. It may take a few minutes to get through when you call first thing in the morning, but I've always been able to get in before 10:00 a.m. We've seen Dr. Fortier (GREAT with the baby!), Dr. Kim, Dr. Lester and Nurse Reece. I loved all of them and would highly recommend this practice.

Everyone at Annapolis Pediatrics has been great. They have been nothing but understanding and patient with us a new parents. The primary doctor we use is Dr. Rice but we have also had visits with Dr. Kim and have been really happy with both. Making an appointment has never been a problem. On our first visit we forgot some of our paperwork because it was still packed in our hospital bags and they were nice enough to see us anyway. The receptionist even went above and beyond in helping to fill our insurance with information we didn't have on us. Our visits are always a pleasure.

We have gone to her for the last three years. I would recommend her. She seems very knowledgeable and friendly. She has a good bedside manner. You can?t always see her but it is very easy to get an appointment.

Fantastic. Dr. Kim is thorough, patient and a strong supporter of care coordination with other providers who your child may have. She is responsive to phone calls and requests for information with timeliness and professionalism. Since she is in a group practice, I don't hold her responsible for one of the front desk clerks and one of the medical assistants who are both curt and short with us. The medical assistant in particular has actually "rolled her eyes" when I requested that my child who suffers from acid reflux not lay on the scale but be allowed to stand up. I did discuss with Dr. Kim my disdain for how this person treated us and that I did not want to interact with her in the future. Dr. Kim listened to my concerns and duly noted my request. I've found an "Angel" in Dr. Kim as a pediatrician for our daughter.

This practice is great. Especially Dr. Kim, she is wonderful. But overall, I have been very pleased with everyone. They are very compassionate and kind to new mothers. I have placed my share of frantic calls to the on-call Dr. at night! The Dr.'s always responded and let me know if my concern was serious or not, and were always very nice about it - I never felt "talked down to" because I'm a new mom and generally worried about every little thing. The office visits are great. I have been able to get appointments quickly for things that come up unexpectedly, and the scheduled vaccination visits have gone well. Although sometimes the wait in the waiting room is long, I don't really mind because I never feel rushed when I'm in with the Dr. Dr. Kim and nurse Reece are wonderful. They are both real moms themselves and are very down to earth and friendly. They take their time and explain any concerns/questions that you may have.
