  • My visit was awesome! I could not have asked for a better experience. All the way from the first phone call to picking up my glasses, Dr. Simoncini and his staff provided excellent customer service and care. Dr. Simoncini spent a lot of time getting to know me as well as giving a thorough eye exam. Picking out my new glasses was so much fun! By the time I left the office, I felt as though I had known Karen for a long time. Both her customer service and friendliness are wonderful. Definitely recommend this office for your eye care!

  • Because this was a unique/custom order, the initial coordination of the glasses and sunglasses was a bit rocky, but the staff was consistently friendly and helpful. The final product was exactly as I had ordered, which was well worth a few hiccups! The entire staff worked to be sure I was happy - a great place to get glasses, particularly if you want/need anything special or out of the ordinary.

  • Excellent and friendly service. I have been going to them since they were at their old location in the same shopping center. There is a reason why they have been around for so long. I highly recommend the doctors at Peepers. They have a large selection of nice eyeglasses and sunglasses too. Peepers is my favorite place to go to buy glasses as a nice gift to a friend or for myself.

  • I didn't have an eye doctor here and I was having problems with my eye. He saw me immediately and treated me. He went the extra mile. He saw me 3 times to make sure it cleared up. He was very caring and very concerned. He took action and told me exactly what it was and how to treat it.

  • First, I'd like to say these are nice people. My issue was receiving lenses recommended by Mr. Corby that did not suit my needs. While his best recommendation, and I believe well intentioned, the Essilor "computer lenses" were nothing like "occupational" lenses I've had in the past for the same purpose. His recommendation was it could take two months to get use to them. I've never heard of such a long adaptation. Not like I've not worn PALs before. I immediately did not like the lenses at all and wanted to down-grade back to something I was used to which I had expressed a strong preference for originally. Unfortunately, after spending over $400 on lenses alone (my frames) their policy did allow any refund and I could have ended up in $150-200 lenses for the original cost of $400. However, a full refund was also offered if I just returned the lenses and I accepted that. Why would Annapolis Opticians not then fill my needs for the fair and original price quoted on a "lesser" lens type? I was told they would do nothing more so I took my refund and went elsewhere. Just seems odd to bail on a patient that their first shot did not work out for. I should add that the refractory exam by Dr. Diffendall I had here was first rate. He listens well, took a lot of time, and seemed very interested in getting the Rx right for my needs. He was very patient and discussed my every concern. His Rx was spot on.

    There was no offer to do further research on what happened, or make another appointment, or whatever.
    Recommendation:
    If you are going to use this vendor make sure you get a confirmation number at the time you make an appointment.
    I'd also get the name of the person who logged the appointment in their system and note and log the day and time.
    You may need this information later.

  • Scheduling an appointment was easy and convenient. I selected them for their location and that they accepted my insurance. On arrival I was greeted promptly and warmly. The space looks like an old Pearl Vision location and is open and spacious. If you're expecting modern, comfortable and high end comfortable you won't find it. The Dr. Was professionl and friendly but the exam rooms were tired and dated. The eye chart was projected onto the wall and I used a paddle to cover the non-tested eye. Quite a change from the ultra-modern office I used for 20 years in Florida, but the care was satisfactory. I mean I just wanted new glasses I thought the selection of frames was OK, but in the style I wanted the choices were limited to 3, still I found one I liked though the price was a bit steep for the facility. I attributed it to the Annapolis area generally higher cost of living than my previous home. Next year may or may not use them as I might prefer an office than has more modern technology. So for staff friendliness and convenience I'd go back

  • It was a pretty standard eye test. What struck me was Dr. Simoncini's and quot;bedside manner.and quot; He listened to me, explained every step and answered my millions of questions with patience and clarity. I asked about lasik and he really helped me understand why he didn't think I needed it. The support staff was also great. They helped me find a pair of glasses that were flattering and fit my face. It's nice to get honest feedback when making such an important decision. When I returned to pick up the glasses, they made sure they looked good and fit, made some adjustments and sent me on my way in 15 minutes. I'm thrilled with my glasses and get compliments all the time.

  • MyEyeDr. - Annapolis provide good eye care. The people are personable, the Doctor is very good quality. He tells you everything you need to know and their equipment is first rate. It is all up-to-date state of the art stuff. His sales people fit you with the glasses and make recommendations. They are all really very nice. I would suggest making an appointment before you go in there because, particularly at weekends, they are very busy. He has sufficient staff to take care of anyone that comes in there so you don't spend a lot of time waiting around. They are very thorough in terms of testing for glaucoma, eye pressure and macular degeneration, and then checking your prescription to see if you are current or not. They do encourage you to come back more frequently than I'm used to, but then it is best to have good quality vision. I always get two pairs of reading glasses and then two pairs of computer glasses because I'm looking in to a computer screen all day. When they send your lenses off to be made, they check your frames first to see if they are ok or if you need new ones. Then they say when the glasses will be back, and call or send an e-mail when they arrive. Then when you go in there they sit you down and make sure the glasses fit. Whatever lab they are using to do the lenses they get pretty good service, because it doesn't take more than a week or so for the glasses to come back. They are very nice and very accommodating. The Doctor has a very personable staff who are attentive and really sensitive to what you are looking for. They work up the bill before the order goes through so you know exactly what it will cost.
