She is awesome. She is not in a group. It is just her, every time I go I see her. She does have a nurse practitioner but we mostly deal with her. She delivered both of my daughters and she did a wonderful job.

This lady puts all my previous GYNs to shame. She's on time, efficient, personable and funny. She just has a way about putting patients at ease in what typically is the most uncomfortable exam of the year. She also cares about the WHOLE patient - she asks about your health overall, how you're doing in general. She makes certain I have have what I need for my annual mammogram. And then she goes the next step and keeps up with things like bone density checks - which really *should* be tracked and ordered by my primary care physician, but...
I'm delighted Lori's younger than me because I stand the chance of never having to look for another GYN. That's a VERY good thing; I don't think I could find another one like her.

I like this office and Dr. Nichols. They are usually rushed for time but always see to all of my needs and questions. It is easy to get blood work done since they have a nurse taking blood in the back.

My daughter had seen other doctors on that group, I have not but everybody in that group is excellent. Marilyn Jerome saved the life of my youngest daughter and my youngest daughter literally, they both had very mysterious problems and one was in terms of care in the hospital and no doctor could figure out what was wrong with her and it seems like she was about to die and I called Marilyn and said could you please see Emily at the hospital and she went right over and she just did a manual exam and she knew exactly what it was and Emily would have died if Marilyn had not done that and my other daughter had cervical cancer which is pretty young and pretty tricky to treat and maintain the ability of the young woman to have a baby later and she just was amazingly good. They did a procedure called a leak procedure and they slice off part of the cervix that has the cancer cells and if they take a little bit too much then the kid can't carry a child and if they don't take it off then the patient would be at risk and I had a careful conversation with Marilyn if it comes down to it, it needs to be my daughter's life and she was just fabulous in a very difficult time.

The surgery was successful. She referred me to physical therapy to learn how to strengthen my pelvic floor and maintain to reduce chance of another prolapse. I immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Walton. Her style is professional but without the communication barriers that many doctors have. I felt like I could ask her anything anything and she listened carefully as reflected in her answers. She has a wonderful sense of humor too which helped ease my anxiety. It's no wonder I had to wait several months to get my initial appointment with her. She's worth the wait and I'm so glad she was my surgeon for this procedure

I started going to Chespeake Women's Care after moving to the Annapolis area and being referred by a co-worker. I was there for several years for for general appointments before my first pregnancy. Overall the staff is fine. Their Registered Nurse Practitioners are great, as well as the Doctors. I have no reason to leave this practice.
They have 6 doctors who deliver. During the course of your pregnancy, you are encouraged to see each doctor for at least 1 pre-natal visit (if not more.)
The office is part of a large Medical Campus/Hospital. The AAMC experience was great for the birth of my first born. The Delivery Ward has all private delivery and recovery rooms. The hospital also offers a lot of classes ($) both before and after you deliver. They also offer grandparents classes which I had never heard of before. The after-delivery classes consist of new-mom groups but they also offer breast-feeding consultants. Take advantage of these!!
I would recommend this practice and this hospital for general women's health and pre-natal and delivery care.

My experience was great. OB-GYN appointments are never fun but they were efficient and the office was very pleasant. The doctor, who I had never met before, I liked very much and she spent a good deal of time with me. She looked at me from the holistic approach and was very helpful and generous in her time. I will go back to see her.

In December of 2011, I first visited this practice and met Dr. Bougas, who was great and the office staff all seemed very nice as well. At that time, I had waited over a month for an appt, but this time around, when I explained that I had a trip coming up, they worked with my schedule to get me in quickly. All of the obstetric paperwork I needed to fill out was available online. When I arrived, I only waited a short time before a nurse called me in. I was surprised and delighted to be given a book about pregnancy detailing each step of the process so I knew what to expect in the coming months. This time around, I saw Dr. Nichols who was also great as she took the time to answer all of my many, many questions. On Tuesday of the week after my appt, I called the office to see if they could give me more suggestions that what was on their website in regard to handling morning sickness. I had tried small meals, I had tried vitamin supplements and ginger, nothing work. The nursing team quickly got back to me and, after a chat with Dr. Nichols, I had a prescription for Zofran, which was given me my life back! The care at this practice is wonderful. I definitely recommend each of the doctors I've seen so far.

I use a nurse midwife. She is very good. She is thorough. She is warm and sympathetic. She gives you step-by-step explanation for each thing. She helps relax you. She tells you before she does anything. She is very detailed. She is honest and straight forward. The office environment is very good. They are very personable. If I see them in the grocery store, they will say hi. I did have an issue, that they told me I had an STD. They called me back in, because it was an accidental mistake. They did a new pap-smear, and then talked to both my husband and myself. They apologized, and she even gave us a gift card to go to dinner. I've never had issues with my billing.

The physician that I dealt with was very patient and spent a long time talking with me. They seemed genuinely concerned about providing services to me that was needed while also concerned about services that were not needed. So that gave me a great deal of confidence in dealing with them. It's a pretty popular place. I didn't get treated there. I will use them again in the future. It was really a very positive experience.
