    My husband and I are first time homebuyers and found Jason through our realtor. He and his team were so helpful throughout the entire process. They took extra care to make sure we knew the whats and whys at every step of the way. We didn't actually meet until our settlement (most of our buying process, we were still living out of state) but that didn't affect us at all because of Jason's wonderful help. He's also extremely proficient in VA loans and what is required to process them, which was helpful to us as well. I've heard horror stories of mortgage lenders being cold-hearted and money-hungry -- we're so thankful that Jason was the complete opposite. He made the whole home-buying process as smooth, easy, and exciting as possible. You can tell he really cares about his clients and will do whatever it takes to make them 100% happy. You won't regret working with him; because we definitely don't!

    Everything went great. Once again David did a no cost refinance for me and got me a cheaper interest rate. Everything went smooth as before. They even can have the closing held in your home. Every convenient. It's nice having a mortgage broker calling you to save you money.

    They were full of generalities and platitudes constantly assuring me they were great and I would miss my commitment date if I did not respond to each document request from them immediately.  They were not sufficiently knowledgeable of my situation to request the appropriate materials.  I own several businesses, and although I explained that to them before we started, they inched their way through my finances asking for countless worthless documents.  When I repeatedly offered a personal financial statement to help them out, they claimed they understood my situation and would have an underwriter respond accordingly, then went on requesting miscellaneous materials.  It was a miserable two weeks.
    They are more marketing than substance, and not very sophisticated when we stepped outside the typical residential mortgage acquisition.
    The settlement however went very smoothly and in fact it was a pleasure to work with them at that point.  They had some one come to my personal residence at my convenience with all required documents.  It was over in about 20 minutes.  They moved the settlement up several days to accommodate our vacation schedule, and they offered to have a notary come to our rented vacation property if that would have been more convenient for us.
     
    All in all, I doubt I would do it again.  I'd rather deal with a real person in a bricks-and-mortal facility at an institution I am familiar with.

    My wife and I contacted Eagle Creek Mortgage to help us refinance our mortgage.  Alex was very clear and thorough in reviewing the information related to our existing mortgage and presenting options for our refinance.  Because rates are much lower than when we bought our house, he found us an option that both lowered our monthly payment and reduced our mortgage term from the roughly 22 years remaining on our existing loan to a 15 year mortgage.  As we went through the application process, Alex was prompt and professional in gathering our information for the lender and getting our responses to any supplementary questions the underwriters asked.  The process went very smoothly all the way through closing.  I would recommend Eagle Creek Mortgage to others, and I would call them again the next time I needed a mortgage.

    For as stressful as refinancing can be, Alex Echeandia at Eagle Creek Mortgage makes it a cakewalk.  We did everything by email and phone, and the closing company came to the house at the time I requested.  Closing costs were a low as possible which was a big plus.  If you need to refinance and are looking for your guy, stop looking now and call Alex.  I could not be happier.

    I made an inquiry via the Quicken Loans website for a mortgage refinance.  When you type your information into Quicken Loans' website, they immediately send your data to four or five mortgage brokers who then proceed to descend on your telephone line.  The aggressive sales pitches tell you how fast you have to move because the rates are about to go up.  They also want you to send them you social security number in the very next email when you have zero idea who is on the other end.  It's a great time to refinance with historic low rates.  But steer away from Quicken Loans.

    Alex was great to work with!  He walked us through our options, and answered any questions we had in an extremely timely fashion.  Alex was patient with us when we changed our mind from a 15 year refinance to a 30 year refinance; it required extra work on his part, but he was happy to make it work for us.  And when our home didn't appraise for quite as much as we thought/hoped, Alex was still able to work with lenders to find a refinance solution that met our needs.
    The overall process from start to finish was a bit lengthy (a bit over 2 months)--but that was not due to Alex--just the fact that everyone is refinancing right now and there is a backlog at the bank!
    I loved working with the closing company as well, as they came to our home--making the transaction very easy and time efficient.
    We will definitely reach out to Alex again for future mortgage/refinance needs.

    The interest rate we received was good, but the service was horrible. Jodie was responsive during the first few months -- before we had settled on using BOA, but during the critical final month of negotiations and paperwork, she and her partner were unresponsive, difficult to track down, and irresponsible. The day of our closing, they neglected to fax the title company a necessary (and routine) piece of paperwork and WERE NOT AVAILABLE by office or cell phone at 4pm on a workday, long scheduled to be our closing date. As a result, the closing took 6 hours when it should have taken 1, and was nearly delayed over a long holiday weekend. As we had to be out of our previous home, we would have had nowhere to go that weekend if we had not finally tracked the agent down at 6pm on her cell. I do not recommend BOA -- even though our closing fiasco was clearly this one agent's fault, no one at the branch was sympathetic to us or offered any assistance beyond providing her phone number and suggesting we leave a message. It was a horrible experience.
