Job was first rate from the design thru completion. Many of our neighbors have used Stewart Lawn and Landscape for their patios. The crew was on time and very clean. The family really enjoys the new living space complete with fire pit..

Extremely well-this is my third job with Stewart. The craftsmanship and collaborative design was outstanding. Notwithstanding some camilias in the front courtyard were well out of warranty, they noticed they were not taking and replace them. Austin is outstanding at all aspects and is very responsive to even the smallest question.

I was a bit dubious at first. I just wanted an end of season chimney cleaning., I use a wood stove connected to a regular fireplace flue. Its' been in place since 1993. They came out and assessed the situation. Then informed me that the chimney had only original clay liner and was not up to current AA County code nor safe. They also told me there was damage of time and weather to the crown of chimney and some gaps developing in the seals along flashing. Estimate went from a couple hundred dollars now up to about $2700. I waited, had another review and was told same thing but higher price by a different group. I went back with ChimneyTek and work was done. All was well,. Too soon about how it works as it's been a very hot summer. One side bar - while doing work they broke a warming tray off one side of wood stove. This had to be located. They stuck with the process over about 4 months until the part was found and installed. I had to call a few times but always polite responses.

I have called 3+ times and sent emails. Have never received a call or an email back. Seems they don't call you back unless you purchase the Angie's list deal. Not the kind of business I want to work with. I gave a C only because I have never been able to speak to anyone or even get an email back. I have tried both listed phone numbers, email address, and their website. No return calls.  I am starting to question how they can have an high Angie's list rating when they don't even return phone calls. I tried calling, waited a month, tried both numbers and emails waited 3 weeks, tried again and no returns phone calls or email messages. Very Disappointing.

This man, Glenn Taylor, was very easy to work with. His work was outstanding, he was punctual, and very fair priced. Definitely will use him in the future. Wish we could have used him for past services.

It was fair. The Angie's List ad said that I would get four hours of masonry work. What happened was, when they showed up, they had two gentlemen and they each worked two hours. They got one of the major things I wanted done, but the rest of the work was rather shoddy, quite frankly. And then, I mistakenly paid them again, not remembering that we paid when we made the order. There was no problem there. Mr. Faustinos reimbursed me. The final cost was $125 plus material. That was not known until they showed up. In fact, when they showed up, the other problem was that they really couldn't match the mortar that was in the brick that was already there. So, it seems like they should come beforehand and find out what it is that they have to do rather than kill that time in the four hours that they're advertising. The material cost was just $25. That was for a bag of concrete and sand, I guess. They did have that on the truck. I wanted them to put new mortar in and fill up the holes. It turned out that I had to mark the places. One can walk on the patio and see them. But, if I hadn't put a piece of paper on it, they didn't touch it. I would say, if you're standing within a two feet radius of the area and can't see it yourself, then that's kind of strange. But, at any rate, even with that, they still missed some places that I had taped and I had them do that for sure before they left. What stood out the most was the way they had repaired a section of my front walkway. It was a wide piece of mortar that really was never going to work right because it was too wide. I had some brick pavers that they could use to substitute for the mortar. Putting that in that, it made it the way it should have been. They did that pretty well. They were on time. They got here when they said they would.

    • Due to unevenness of deteriorated concrete surface, this required much chipping and leveling before cutting and placing bluestone elements.  This was a full (7-hour) day job in 90+ degree heat.  Beautiful job, and area cleaned up when finished.

They did exactly as they said they would. The patio and steps looked great. Price seemed a bit steep, but they did great work and were very fast and responsive. Whole job took about five days.

I had a cleaning through Angie's List with a vendor, and they gave me some issues with deterioration at the top of the chimney. When this offer came up, I took it in, they gave me an inspection and did an estimate. It was pushing around $900.00 to re-cap, or basically redo the cement and point the brick up at the top of the chimney.  We agreed that it wasn't an emergency. I didn't have any water leaks or anything like that. Over a period of time we tried to schedule, which was a matter of convenience for both of us, which I had no issue with, but when we did schedule, they didn't have a tall enough ladder. They did part of the job, and said they would come back in a day or two. They didn't come back for several weeks, and we had a heavy rain storm. I had water down my chimney. I called them, complained and we got it repaired. Several months later now, I've notice that in my living room, I have a slight amount of mold from that water penetration. Since they've finished the job, its rained off and there has been no water penetration. I haven't had the opportunity to address that issue. I've been in communication with Chimney Tek. He said that he's not a water damage expert, but to keep him advised of our findings. It's minor mold behind a picture over the fireplace, and I haven't had it investigated as of yet. I'm waiting to see if it increases, which it hasn't. We've had additional rains and I haven't seen any mold, so all I can surmise is that the delay in finishing the job once he started it, introduced the water. I had buckets below my damper collecting the water during the heavy rain, and I've never had that during the thirty years of living in this house. I have not had it remediated yet. I have to get someone to look at it and see if I need to get it painted over or advise on what I should do. It took him a while to schedule, but we had agreed initially that it was not urgent. It's just that when he started the job, he had so much going on. I think the job was a pretty good job, it's just that the delay in getting it done caused me water damage.

everything the Bell crew did was perfect. they changed front entry look of our home from an outhouse to a penthouse. they even perfectly executed 2 circular steps to the front door, and such curving concrete pouring takes some black magic.
i'm praying that we never have more concrete issues, but if we do i'm hiring the Bell company without question!
since moving to Maryland in the 2000's; this is the first contractor we ever used that had real tradesmen that are true craftsmen as well.
