    Everything went really great! Trinity was referred by our landscaper (Steven McHale) who is very meticulous. We spent time designing an update to our indoor stereo system as well as building an outdoor AV system with a TV on our patio and speakers in 3 zones. We obtained estimates from 3 different companies and the pricing was very disparate. Some of the bids were 2x the others based up labor costs and types of equipment. We worked with Noel Murphy. He designed a system that met our needs (Sunbrite TV, Klipsch speakers and Sonos system for control). He met our needs without extravagant upselling that we encountered with one company. Also, all of the labor costs were clearly defined. The system ROCKs and looks great. The security system update works well I am a very detail oriented person. I have been very satisfied with the quality of the work, professionalism and responsiveness.

    I am looking for an alarm system and monitoring company. I was provided an in home estimate with pricing by Kevin Farrell. I agreed to the pricing, signed the contract but the sales rep said he needed me to sign in person. When he showed up he had a completely different pricing scheme which was much higher. I pointed out the differences between what was emailed to me by him just 24 hours prior and he stormed out saying we could not do business. I complained to the company and have not received a call back. This is clearly a bait and switch but I'm not sure if it was the salesperson or the whole company's practice. I left a message in the call center in the Washington DC Metro area last week and never received any call back.

    Over 15  years with Brinks/ADT- (terrible service from BOTH AND HIGHER PRICED!!!)   SWITCHED to
    VINTAGE~ transitions/easy/low cost and worth every penny.  VINTAGE PROVIDES EXCELLENT
    customer service - NO 25 prompt phone call/ press that. 
    EASY to contact and easy to switch. Talk to real live nice people who answer and explain all....which
    is a HUGE difference from ADT.  Better product and my grade for Vintage Security?  A+

    I didn’t like that deal & never went through with it. They tried to ask for my social security number over the phone which made me feel uncomfortable & suspicious.  They had an argumentative tone when I spoke with them. They wanted as much personal info as they could get out of me & went on to explain that they couldn't process it without my social security number.

    They are big service company. They always answer the questions. Their services are fine even when I don't want them! I'll be doing work around the house and set off the fire alarm and I end up with 25 guys stomping around the place. If I have a technical question I call them and I get an answer.

    It is a good firm.

    Their price was reasonable given the cost of the system's components and the time spent installing it.  Their installation was clean, quiet, and professional -- very important given that we have a newborn at home.  They even scheduled a more convenient time to come back and test the siren.  I can't think of anything I would have wanted different about the experience.  They built a good system, installed it cleanly, and educated us on how to use it.

    Excellent job overall.  I had a problem with my older alarm system and I thought they would have to replace it.  They have a tech experienced in older systems and he was able to fix it, thus saving me a large amount of money.  I did have a minor problem after the service call, but they came and solved it at no charge.  Great service!

    After interviewing numerous alarm companies I chose Maximum based on other recommendations.  I wasn't disappointed.   They were clearly very knowledgeable.  They advised on what they believed would meet my needs, no more and no less.  This is my third home with a security system and the installation work, configuration, and quality support was by far the best I've seen

    ADT is a huge company. You never know whether you are speaking with someone in MD or Outer Mongolia. If you have a false alarm, the person you speak with only knows how to call the police or not call the police. They know nothing about your system or how to help with a malfunction and give no indication that your problem matters to them. Once I had a very loud alarm screaming for nearly two hours until I was finally able to get a call back from one of their technical people to tell me how to shut it off. Another time I paid to have a new sensor installed on a door. When it failed a few months later, they wanted to charge me again for a service call to repair or replace it, although the service manager finally agreed to do it under warranty. I find dealing with this company to be very frustrating.

    The rates are reasonable; I pay a quarterly service fee for about $81. They have been very good about making adjustments and changes as I have needed them. I think they are very nice and professional as well.
