  • The sofa: he took a few stitches and then glued the rest---the glue showed, and I was not happy--so he painted it with red paint. He should have stitched the whole thing---on 2 cushions that had leather scratches from dog, he painted with red paint. When you sat on the sofa, the paint cracked off, and it got on your hands and clothes. He told me to cover it. I said if he couldn't do the job, he shouldn't have taken it---and he said he did the best he could. But it is terrible---the paint is shiny and the leather is not on the rest of the sofa. On one piece of furniture he fixed it fine, but he said it was $250.00 and I said that was too much before he did the work. So he said $200.00. When he brought back the piece he said it is $250.00 because it took him more time and he changed the price on the original estimate. On the third piece, I did not tell him to fix the scratches, I would think about the price; and he came back to fix it when I wasn't there. My husband let him in and let him fix it, my husband thought he thought I said ok. So he paid him. As to the sofa-, he said he would refund $150.00. He did not and it is 2-1/2 weeks later. I used him although he was $100.00 more than Guardsman because he was local.

  • After bringing it home and using it my guest told me how comfortable the mattress was. I was so glad that it was comfortable but later when I had some time I went on line to price check and indeed the price was very competitive. Recently when I needed to replace my child's mattress I knew where to go and indeed was again very happy with my choice.

  • Very good deal for the low cost. We have moved twice this year -- the previous time from out of state, using one moving company to load our Penske and then another company here in town to unload -- so I've seen a few companies work. They were on time, careful, and didn't scratch a thing at the new house. They got our stuff in a much smaller space than I thought possible; it must be some kind of magical clown-car-moving-truck. They did delay our move a couple days because it was pouring rain and our apartment complex was very muddy, but that's not their fault, and honestly it shows they respect us enough to not simply deliver a bunch of wet, muddy furniture to our new place. I would use them again.

  • Mr Pulley answered the phone the first time I called. He said he could be over to our house the next day to give an estimate and pick up furniture if we wanted him to do it. He arrived when he said he would. After giving my wife estimate and explaining what he would do, my wife decided to have him refinish table and chairs. He also let us come to his home and see the finish after he stained the table and painted the chairs. He finished the project on time as promised. We are very happy with the finish on the table and chairs. He did an excellent job matching the table top stain to the kitchen cabinets. He also arranged to have glass top cut to fit the top of the round table. Overhaul he did an excellent job and delivered it on time!

  • He is the best piano tuner I have ever seen in my life. He used to work for Steinway in New York City. He is a Steinway trained piano tuner. He is superb. There is no good piano tuner around here except Walter. He services southern Connecticut, New York City, and southern West Chester County. He is very skilled. He loves what he does. He is an extremely nice man. He is very fair. He is either on time or early. I am very comfortable having in my home as a single female. He is utterly trustworthy.

  • It went very well.I was pleased with the sales person's knowledge and basis for recommendations. I was very pleased that their price-matching policy required only that I find advertised sales from other companies, all of which were easily available from the Internet, and the prices were matched without question. I saved significantly through this price-matching and more through the manufacturer's rebate which they assisted with. Delivery was right on time. I highly recommend them.

  • They have such a slim amount of attendants anymore that you're lucky to see somebody you can talk to, sometimes. We immediately had a problem with the microwave. It didn't work. It wouldn't come on. They had to replace it with another one. I wouldn't use them for any services, other than the purchase.

  • The service provided by Classic Billiards was impeccable. They responded quickly to my request for pricing and provided all the details I needed to know.  On the day of service, they arrived promptly and were extremely courteous.  It was obvious they took pride in their work and wanted to make sure everything went perfectly.  While this isn't a service someone uses regularly, I certainly will use them in the future for anything related to my pool table.  I highly recommend them!

  • Mr. Puley  did a wonderful job.  I inherited a beautiful cherry table that had quite a bit of wear and tear from many years of use.  Not only is the finish job excellent, Mr. Puley also replaced a small piece of missing veneer so skillfully that I can't find it!   He is a very nice man and most pleasant to work with.  I highly recommend his services.

  • It's hard to find a quality repair option when a manufacturer decides to no longer honor a "lifetime" warranty. Fortunately, I stumbled on David Roseman, Dr. Furniture.
    I contacted the business through their website, and got a response in a few hours. We exchanged emails, I sent photographs of the chairs and David was able to assess the problem and suggest an alternative repair. By the end of the second day, we had set up an appointment. His assistant called the day before to confirm, and give me a 2-3 hour window of arrival. He arrived on the dot.
    Let me just say that David Roseman is exactly the repair expert you'd want in your house. He's professional, skilled and fun to talk to. He had the first chair in pieces on the floor in a matter of minutes. Screws, bolts, frame, cushions, reclining mechanism -- all were laid out in order, while he removed the leather upholstery and springs from the frame. It looked as though the chair had exploded. Before long, though, he had completely installed flexible webbing to replace the springs, added an additional layer of high-density foam, and reassembled the chair.
    Then, he did it all over again to the other chair! The price was more than fair. and it took about 90 minutes.
    So, here we sit. Absolutely over the moon in our matching leather recliners. It has been three years since we've been this comfortable, knowing the repair was done right. We could not be more pleased with this experience!
